Set: Ice World [C82]

Seeing the spiders falling from the sky, Shu Himo is puzzled, 'System, how is that this test is more bullsh*t than you?'

[The system took offense of what the User just said.]

Not paying heed to the system, Shu Himo started using [Hopper], staying close to the main spider.

*Tud* *Tud* *Tud*

Since the various spiders finally starting reaching the ground, Shu Himo paid attention to them, wanting to find out their behavior. Suddenly, a spider jumped toward Shu Himo, trying to bite him with its fangs.

Promptly reacting to it, Shu Himo used stacked [Hopper_x2], dodging the spider easily, but he then noticed that all the spiders attacked him as if he was their biggest foe. Due to the sheer amount of spiders, it was extremely hard to see the road, but luckily the main spider is completely black while the others are brown, making it slightly easier to find out which is the right one.

Preparing himself to use Hopper to dodge everything, Shu Himo suddenly heard the usual mechanical voice, "Increasing main spider's speed to 100km/h."

Frowning due to the unexpected increase in speed, Shu Himo brought out his sword, using it to cut a path in front of him.

*Frr*

While hearing the sounds derived by the flesh of the spiders getting cut, Shu Himo continued killing spiders, chasing behind the main spider leaving behind a path of flesh and blood. This far, Shu Himo is only using [Hopper_x2], not requiring the third stack.

Suddenly, two spiders teamed up, attacking Shu Himo from both sides, but Shu Himo simply jumped with [Hopper_x2] and ignored them, after all, if he stopped to kill every spider he would risk losing the main spider, and anyway, the speed of the normal spiders is not fast enough to hit him.

As if the test could see that Shu Himo is not having enough difficulties, the usual mechanical voice resounded again, "Introducing five assassin spiders. A single bite from them will end the test."

Suddenly, five white spiders, barely 15 centimeters high hid between the other spiders, vanishing from Shu Himo's perception. Having a bad feeling, Shu Himo increased his alertness and began using stacked [Hopper_x3], chasing the main spider while frantically looking around himself to notice the assassin spiders.

Feeling abruptly a shiver on his back, Shu Himo promptly turned around and slashed with the sword, splitting in half an assassin spider, but suddenly a second assassin spider bit his right leg, seemingly injecting toxic poison.

A moment later, every spider exploded in the usual black mist, forming a display.

"Congratulation for completing the test!

Required points for passing: 3!

Points obtained: 4.1! [Press here to check average target destroyed]"

Sighing, he then pressed the button, with disappointment all over his face even before the information about the average record appeared.

"Average points obtained:

Class D: 1 point.

Class C: 1.2 points.

Class B: 1.6 points.

Class A: 2.2 points.

Class S: 4 points.

The Winged Freaks: 16 points.

Teachers: 11 points.

Headmasters: Information Reserved."

Seeing all these 'Information Reserved' for the records of the headmasters, Shu Himo felt to be watching at a message of the system instead of a display, 'System, can you unlock every information?'

[No.]

Even if he knew already the answer, he could not help but be disappointed.

Suddenly, the usual mechanical voice resounded everywhere, "Creating Illusion Realm... Objective: survive longer possible."

A moment later, Shu Himo found himself in a white dimension, that seems to only have an infinite white floor, extending toward all the directions.

Suddenly, fifty teachers at the Nascent Soul realm came in the Illusion Realm, appearing in front of Shu Himo, "You are indeed a prodigy to be able to reach this test, so don't worry too much even if you get crushed instantly by this Illusion, as you are going to fight fifty of us by yourself."

Hearing their reply, Shu Himo smiled, "I agree, it would not be a surprise to get crushed easily."

The teachers by hearing his reply got surprised; why does his phrase sound weird?

Not caring about their puzzlement, Shu Himo activated [Steal Illusion].

[Steal Illusion activated: gained an additional 10% control of this Illusion Realm.]

Knowing that someone is daring to test him in an Illusion Realm, Shu Himo smirked, 'I may not be able to beat others when chasing spiders, but no one shall beat me here.'

Thinking that Shu Himo did not know the rules, one teacher explained, "We will now attack you with various illusions, all you have to do is to resist the attacks, for how to resist them, you can use any way you can think of."

Hearing the teacher Shu Himo nodded, expressing his understanding. A moment later, the usual mechanical voice resounded, "Start."

Suddenly, each teacher formed a fireball about a meter in diameter, increasing the heat around it by various thousands degrees Celsius. They then threw all the fireballs toward Shu Himo, waiting to see his reaction.

Seeing them, Shu Himo did not move at all, just watching the fireballs getting closer as if they did not exist. Meanwhile, the teachers seeing that he have no reaction at all are dumbfounded, how could someone not fear such a high temperature?

Concentrating to see every move of the child in front of them, the teachers suddenly saw him slowly opening his mouth and saying, "Set: Ice World."

Suddenly, the white world changed, and from its white it became completely covered in blue ice, seemingly lowering the temperature to its lowest possible, at -273.15 degree Celsius.

The fireballs immediately vanished as if this world does not allow their existences itself.

Seeing this the teachers are all astounded, while they underestimated him, giving him a chance to gain the control of the Illusion Realm, this is not something that requires just little ability!

Now the teachers looked again at the child in front of them knowing that they had underestimated him; it seems that in an Illusion Realm, even they who are at Nascent Soul realm, will have to take this seriously.
