Entering in the eightieth floor, Shu Himo noticed that the area was similar to the normal floors, having a grey ceiling, walls, and floor… yet, the size of the room was enormous! Shu Himo estimated that from a wall to another there was at least a kilometer of distance.
Looking inside in search for a monster to fight, he noticed that it was a floating black sphere.
Puzzled over what it would do, he took out the scythe and readied himself to defend from any attack, while slowly walking closer to it.
Suddenly, the sphere opened his single eye, covering almost half of its front surface, while showing a wide creepy smile.
This shocked Shu Himo, it wasn't a sphere? Feeling a sudden threat from behind, Shu Himo trusted his instinct and jumped in the air, using a stacked [Hopper_x3].
*Fiuu*
In the place where he was, a fast object passed, as if trying to sever even the air itself. Staring at the object, Shu Himo was shocked, wasn't that a flying sword?
Possessing a red handle and a silver blade with a black edge, the flying sword appeared able to cut through anything.
Soon enough, Shu Himo felt threatened once again from behind, so he quickly used [Hopper], dashing back on the floor.
*Tud*
Crashing on the floor, he looked up and frowned, 'There is more than one?'
In his sight, there weren't just one or two swords, there were four flying swords!
Knowing that the black sphere was the one controlling the swords, Shu Himo turned toward it… only to notice that it disappeared!
Dumbfounded from its disappearance, he had no time to search it before two swords attacked him, one aiming his legs, while the other at his head!
Ignoring the two swords, Shu Himo used a stacked [Hopper_x4], darting in the distance, in search for the black sphere.
Even if the flying swords were fast, compared to Shu Himo's max speed they had problems to reach him, so the four swords could only chase closely behind him.
After a couple minutes of search, Shu Himo frowned, "The black sphere is not in the room?"
He had already checked all the room, comprised the corners of it… yet he failed to find the opponent!
Angry to have found yet another bugged floor, Shu Himo stared at the four flying swords, "If the monster doesn't come outside, I'll just break his swords!"
Holding the handle of the scythe with both hands, he pointed the blade's tip slightly toward slightly right of the closest sword, and a moment later, seeing that it was close he began slowly rotating the scythe toward the left.
Finally, the sword and the scythe met… no, the sword lightly evaded the attack! As if being pushed by the scythe, the sword appeared to slide on it, thrown away yet not receiving any damage.
Such reaction startled Shu Himo, if the swords were to dodge his attacks, then how was he supposed to break them?
Meanwhile, the other three swords caught up with him, and slashed together toward Shu Himo, as if trying to sever him in multiple parts.
Frowning, Shu Himo slashed toward the first sword, deviating it. At the same time, he jumped in the air to dodge the second, yet, the third was able to pass through his guard, and was just ten centimeters from his stomach!
Startled, Shu Himo reflexively took out from his storage a silver rod!
Using it to parry the attack from the sword, the silver rod got split in about a second, yet utilizing the small amount of time obtained, Shu Himo used a stacked [Hopper_x2], escaping from the sword by dashing on the ground.
Having wasted the silver rod Shu Himo felt his hearth in pain, "They aren't free you know?"
Sadly, the violin's size was too big to be used at that instant, so he could not use his best shield.
This experience made him consider again to search a proper way to defend himself, as the defensive magic spells from the academy were all awful! How could he force himself to learn something like that?
Looking at how the swords did not care at all about what he said and simply continued to rush at him, Shu Himo frowned, and suddenly used a stacked [Hopper_x2], escaping from the swords.
The sword simply continued to chase him, but since Shu Himo was only using two stacks of [Hopper] at once, their speed was faster and quickly caught up with him.
As if expecting them, Shu Himo abruptly stopped and took out his greatsword from the storage, turning around quickly toward the swords.
*BOOM!*
Slamming the greatsword on the swords, the collision produced an overbearing sound, sending all the four swords crashing on the ground. Due to the impact, the swords were trembling, as if they were having problems connecting with the one moving them remotely.
Using it as a chance, Shu Himo put the greatsword back in the storage, and quickly took the scythe, throwing it on the closest sword.
*Trrr*
Piercing it easily, the scythe split in half the first sword! Yet, at that moment the other three swords stopped trembling and were about to restart moving, but how could Shu Himo let them escape?
Quickly using a stacked [Hopper_x4], he darted toward the scythe and took it, spun around on himself, and threw it once again toward the next sword!
*Trrr*
Not having time to dodge the attack since it was still groggy, the second sword was split in half too.
Suddenly, Shu Himo heard again the usual notification from the system claiming that he completed the floor and was dumbfounded, how was this a completed floor? Two swords were still functioning and the monster was alive!
Did the monster give up again? Why?
Not having anyone to answer his question, he then walked toward the staircase leading to the next floor.
The black sphere, seeing that he walked on the stairs, breathed a sigh of relief, yet it was still in disbelief, 'I stood here invisible all the time… why would you break my swords instead of searching for me? Those swords are pricey, don't break them like that!'
