Seeing that the cube stopped on the exclamation mark, Shu Himo did not know how to react, what would an exclamation mark even mean?
From the walls, many silver pipes suddenly appeared, every pipe was around ten centimeters in diameter, connected with each other from a side to the other of the walls.
The numerous pipes appeared to cover everywhere, leaving barely a meter of distance between each other.
The only areas empty from pipes, were the lowest part of the room, and the highest, leaving around fifty meters of free space each one.
Seeing the pipes Shu Himo frowned, why every second that passed everything became crazier?
Once all the pipes were bound to the walls, an additional pipe appeared from one of them, advancing toward the ground.
Only stopping a couple centimeters from it, the pipe began to aspire the gas, seemingly seeking to seize all of it.
Shu Himo was dumbfounded, why did it feel as if it was intended to happen from the start?
Frowning, he pondered for a moment, 'The cube wasn't tampered with by the system… right?'
Looking toward the pipes, he noticed that their combination with the gas gave him a bad feeling, which only helped to increase his alertness toward them.
A moment later, the gas from the ground was nearly completely absorbed, leaving only a couple centimeters of gas still covering the floor.
As if disregarding what occurred everywhere, the water blades continued to chase after Shu Himo.
Knowing that the water blades were unlikely to stop, Shu Himo frowned, "Are those water blades perhaps intending to chase me until I complete this floor?"
Glancing toward the pipes, Shu Himo smirked, "Let's see if the water blades will still chase me up there..." Using a stacked [Hopper_x2], he jumped on top of the closest pipe, and noticing that the water blades did not stop, he jumped over the next, proceeding to go upwards.
The water blades, as if not caring about the pipes simply passed through them, without causing any damage.
"WHAT?" Shu Himo was dumbfounded, he expected that the water blades would either evade or cut the pipes… but surely not to just pass through them!
While he was pondering on whether he should try to cut a pipe with the scythe, he suddenly heard yet another, *Tack*, coming from the cable of the cube.
Witnessing the cube's fall, Shu Himo frowned, in which side was it going to stop?
*DOON*
In front of what happened, Shu Himo blanked out for an instant, why did the cube just drop on a pipe, breaking it in half?
Suddenly, from the broken pipe, the gas commenced to leak out, giving chills to Shu Himo, yet also making him sigh in relief, " Luckily I didn't decide to cut the pipes… that wa- OI!"
*DON!* *DON!* *DON!*
As if making fun of Shu Himo's relief, the cube continued to fall on many pipes, breaking all of them.
"Stop!" He could not believe it, what was the point of producing all those pipes if the cube just broke them?
After noticing that the gas stood in mid-air, without neither dropping or raising he frowned, "So those pipes were used just to bring the gas at this height?"
While Shu Himo was still in thought, the cube continued dropping.
*Dododon!*
"It got stuck?!" In his sight, the cube was stuck between many broken pipes, having completely stopped moving.
With his mouth agape due to the shock, Shu Himo began to worry, if the cube was stuck between the pipes, wouldn't it mean that the side will not be chosen? How was he supposed to complete the floor then? Did everything just bug for real?
Knowing that he had to resolve the problem by himself, Shu Himo raised his hand toward the cube, as he promptly chanted. "Lightning."
Suddenly, in front of him, a spark formed, which abruptly sped up toward the cube, creating a lightning.
Knowing that the silver pipes would conduct the lightning everywhere, Shu Himo used a stacked [Hopper_x4], jumping toward the ceiling, distancing himself from the pipes.
Unbeknown to him, after coming in contact with the lightning the red gas around the cube was ignited, and the flame expanded quickly, spreading inside the pipes.
*BOOOOM!*
Feeling his heart skip a beat, Shu Himo turned around, and the sight of what happened made his eyelids repeatedly twitch, "Why the pipes exploded? Perhaps… the gas was flammable?"
In the area close to the pipes everything was demolished, as the earlier colored walls became all black, as if they were burned by the heat from the explosion.
Luckily, having jumped away Shu Himo was barely outside the range of the explosion, so he was unharmed.
Realizing the impact generated from the explosion, Shu Himo felt his back covered in cold sweat, why didn't he thought before about flammable gases?
All of a sudden, he heard the usual voice from the system.
[Congratulation! The User managed to win against the ninetieth floor! Soon revealing the staircase toward the ninety-first floor... if the User wants to persist ascending the tower, advance on the staircase and if instead, the User desires to stop, return to the entrance or say "I give up!"]
Hearing the message from the system he was confused, shouldn't the cube still fall another time before its face dropped to '0'?
Descending on the ground, he noticed that in a corner, the cube was completely black, having barely resisted the explosion, with its faces almost turned in charcoal.
'Perhaps the explosion almost destroyed the cube, so the hidden monster decided to give up?' With this doubt in mind, Shu Himo walked toward the next floor.
Naturally, the monster was, in reality, the half-dead cube, who was still in disbelief about what happened, 'In the next drop I was supposed to choose the lightning to explode everything… so why did everything exploded while I was in the middle of it? How am I supposed to continue now that my faces are burned?
How can I be this unlucky to have found a such a self-destructive opponent?'
