I am not Strong? [C144]

After completing the ninetieth floor, Shu Himo slightly struggled in the next nine, yet in front of the hundredth floor, he could only be completely stupefied.

The moment he walked inside, he noticed that there weren't either the walls or a ceiling, assuming simply the form of the nothingness, as if being in the outer space.

While he was analyzing the place, he suddenly heard the voice from the system.

[Hundredth floor, prepare for the fight against the first boss.]

First boss? Shu Himo was baffled, then what were all those monsters that he already fought? Mini-bosses?

In the air, the figure of a maiden slowly revealed herself, gradually revealing all her peculiarities; she was standing on air, her feet aiming toward the infinite space above, her entire body pointed downward. Yet, she was floating, as if the law of gravity was merely a nuisance to her.

She wore a blue full dress, which evolved into a petticoat opened in front, only to reveal nothing. Her absence of legs, only made her white skin stand out, yet it wasn't merely white, anyone would believe she was a doll instead of a form of life.

Instead of her hands, only red spheres were present, the red was the same color as the one from blood, maybe cursing at the fact she had none.

Her face, was not a face, as half of it was missing, leaving only a devilish smile, from it, a creepy laugh resounded which appeared to come from the underworld itself.

With a height of over fifty meters, the pressure emanated from her was enough to leave Shu Himo's back covered in cold sweat.

Clenching his fists, Shu Himo quickly calmed down, and took out his scythe as he looked at her attentively.

She did not move or make a sound, yet, around her over ten enormous fireballs suddenly appeared from the nothingness, as if they were always there.

Each fireball was over five meters in diameter, each reaching hundreds of degrees Celsius.

"Ahu.. aha... ahaha... ahu... ahu... ahahaha..." As her creepy laugh resounded, the fireballs dropped, falling toward the ground.

With a grim look, Shu Himo felt that those fireballs would create an enormous explosion, so unless he succeeded to find a solution he may already meet his end at the start of the fight.

However, after staring at the maiden for a moment, Shu Himo smiled, who said that an attack from an enemy can only be an obstacle?

Using a stacked [Hopper_x2], he hastened, reaching the area below the falling fireballs. Looking up, he used a stacked [Hopper_x3], jumping in the air, aiming to reach directly on the area above the fireballs.

Placing back the scythe in the storage, he took out his violin, and laughed, as he turned toward the fireballs, "Feel free to explode anytime!"

A moment later, at the touch of the ground, the fireballs abruptly exploded, each generating a force superior to Aura Azusa's Solar Orbs.

*BOOM!*

Blinding everything in the radius of kilometers, the explosions extended everywhere, as if trying to swallow everything.

Yet… on top of the explosion, a child was surfing. Standing on top of a violin, as the violin absorbed the impact while being pushed toward the sky, Shu Himo was grinning from ear to ear, as if having fun due to the experience.

While the heat from the explosion inflicted pain all across his skin, it was not to the point of being unbearable, so he simply ignored it, as it was failing to cause any real damage.

Abusing the force of propulsion, Shu Himo swiftly reached the maiden and grinned, "Hello!" Greeting the maiden, he took out his greatsword, and exploiting its weight, struck toward the maiden's jaw.

*Duum!*

Suddenly, a layer of ice appeared in front of the maiden, covering her as a shield, stopping the attack from Shu Himo.

Shu Himo was dumbfounded, from when there was ice around her? He originally wanted to use the hit to make her fall in altitude… but to think it would do nothing!

"Aha..ahahah..." Laughing at his futile attempt, around the maiden a strong wind appeared all of a sudden, threatening to sweep Shu Himo away.

As the explosion already subsided, normally nothing could stop the wind from sweeping Shu Himo away… yet, Shu Himo simply put back in the storage his violin and the greatsword, staying still in mid-air, smiling toward the maiden.

"Hehe… sorry to disappoint you, but you aren't the only one who can fly!"

Naturally, Shu Himo was not flying, he was instead standing on top of the invisible platform created by [Hopper]!

However, while there was not a limitation in time for how much he could sustain it, unless he could reset the [Hopper]'s charges, he could not walk around, as the size of the invisible platform was limited!

Stunned for a moment, the maiden stopped laughing, yet, as if noticing that Shu Himo could not move, the maiden laughed creepily once again, "Aha… ahaha…aha..."

Around her, many small objects slowly formed, until they reached over three meters in diameter, revealing their sturdy appearance: they were compressed rocks!

Against a total of fifty rocks, with each of them capable to form an enormous crater were it to slam on the ground of a normal plain, a stationary target like Shu Himo would have no way to defend!

Gazing at the rocks, Shu Himo did not appear worried, and taking out his scythe smirked, "Did you really think that if I can't use Hopper, I am not strong?"
