Staring at the rocks, Shu Himo calmly took with both hands the handle of the scythe, as he pointed its blade's tip slightly toward the right of the closest rock.
At that moment, in his eyes, nothing existed apart from the rocks, as if every other information was worthless.
Suddenly, the rocks began moving, all aiming toward Shu Himo, yet, they did not appear to be blindly attacking him, they were instead attacking him from different angles, as if trying to find a blind spot.
Discerning that the one which would hit him first was behind, Shu Himo did not move for a second, and only when the rock was finally close did he act.
Whirling the scythe by using his hands, the scythe's blade turned from its earlier position in front, quickly reaching behind Shu Himo, splitting the rock in half as if it were mere butter.
As they both deviated from the trajectory, the two rocks halves did not hit Shu Himo and began to drop, plummeting toward the ground.
A moment later, three additional rocks were about to reach him, one aiming his head, one his torso, and lastly one was attacking from beneath, appearing to be aiming to destroy the platform created from [Hopper].
Without stopping to whirl the scythe with his hands, Shu Himo accumulated centrifugal force, as he split in half the rock which flew toward his torso.
Glancing up briefly, he lightly deviated the rotation's trajectory of his scythe, aiming at the rock on top of him.
*Fss*
With a clean cut in half, Shu Himo lightly smiled as he deviated again the rotation's trajectory, aiming toward the rock below him.
*Druumm!*
Stabbing it, applying all the centrifugal force that he had accumulated, the rock was not only split in half but also destroyed in many pieces due to the impact.
In less than a second, Shu Himo had already destroyed four rocks out of fifty!
A moment later, the next five rocks finally approached him, each aiming at a different spot. Yet, Shu Himo continued to whirl the scythe with his hands, as if uncaring of the danger from each rock.
*Frr*
The moment a rock reached a meter of distance from him, it was immediately split in half by the scythe, as if there was an inviolable area close to him.
Ten rocks split…
Twenty rocks split…
Thirty rocks split…
Forthy rocks split…
In less than ten seconds, all the fifty stones were destroyed, yet Shu Himo did not stop whirl his scythe, as if preparing for something.
Staring at the maiden he smirked, as he suddenly jumped away from the [Hopper] platform, leaping toward the maiden.
"Let's see how durable your ice shield is!" Slashing with the scythe abusing the centrifugal force he accumulated, Shu Himo easily stabbed through the defense of the ice.
*Brr*
Piercing through, the scythe stopped only after reaching various centimeters into her skin, when it finally got stuck in the shield of ice.
Shu Himo, grabbing the handle of the scythe to not fall, smirked by seeing that his plan was a success.
Planting his feet on the ice shield, he quickly extracted the scythe as he stabbed in the same spot with five silver rods, holding the gap in the ice shield open before it could recover.
Jumping away, he smirked while aiming at the silver rods with his hand, as he chanted, "Lightning!"
Suddenly, a small spark formed in front of him, quickly growing in size, until it shot toward the silver rods, forming a lightning.
*Frrr*
Passing through the silver rods, the lightning quickly entered inside the maiden's body, as if trying to burn it from within.
Seeing that the maiden began dropping due to the damage, Shu Himo grinned, "You may have a good defense, but once an attack reaches your body you seem quite frail!"
However, that did not stop the maiden from laughing creepily, as if uncaring about the damage producing inside of her body, "Ahu...aha...ahahaha…"
While falling on the ground, Shu Himo abruptly noticed that around her ten enormous fireballs appeared, yet they weren't simple fireballs, as they were all chained with each other by a chain of fire.
Upon that sight Shu Himo was dumbfounded, was she laughing because she was going to self-destruct, killing both together?
Reaching the ground, he decided to abuse the lack of walls to run farther possible, hoping to distance himself from the explosion.
After he ran a couple of kilometers by using continuously stacked [Hopper_x4], he deemed it was enough and turned around, only to notice that the maiden did not appear to be about to self-destruct.
"What? Was she making fun of me with that laugh?!"
In his sight, the fireballs were already vanished, while the maiden was covered in an enormous cluster of ice, as if preserving her from any attack until she recovered.
Suddenly, Shu Himo heard the voice from the system, yet it was slightly different from the other times.
[Congratulation! The User managed to complete the tutorial of the Monsterhouse - Tower of Despair!]
[Soon revealing the staircase toward the 101st floor… if the User wants to persist ascending the tower, advance on the staircase and if instead, the User desires to stop, say, "I give up!".]
[Warning: for the following floors is advised to possess a cultivation level of Nascent Soul or higher.]
"WHAT? All these 100 floors were just the tutorial?! This is bullsh*t!"
As the system would not reply no matter how he complained, Shu Himo could only dejectedly walk on the staircase, as he was curious about what would happen in the next floor.
Once he reached the next floor, he blankly stared ahead, dumbfounded by what he was hearing.
