"Nah man you got it all wrong she smells like roses and lilies," said Hunter.

Ryan laughed and said jokingly, "what's up with you guys she changes her perfume and you guys are over here fighting over it, what a bunch of females."

I laughed and continued driving down the street. I pulled into Alex's driveway and noticed the other car parked there.

"O great," I mumbled.

"what's wrong dude?" asked Evan. "O nothing just the wicked witch of LA is home that's all," I replied.

Hunter laughed as we all got out of the car and entered the house. I smelled the faint smell of cigarette smoke and spaghetti coming from the kitchen.

"dude something smells good," said Ryan as he walked into the kitchen.

I followed behind him with Grayson, Evan and Hunter close on my heels. Alex was straining the pasta noodles into a strainer when Ryan walked into the kitchen. Her hair was hanging over her shoulders and she had a cigarette hanging out of her mouth.

She turned around to put the pot back on the stove. "If you're going to stand there and stare at me, at least introduce yourself," she said with her back towards Ryan.

"I'm terribly sorry ma'am, my name is Ryan, "He said," And these are my buddies Evan, Hunter and Grayson."

"Nice to meet you," the other three said at the same time.

Alex turned around, took a puff of her cigarette before walking towards the counter. "Nice to meet you all, I'm glad my cousin made some decent friends at school," she said with a laugh in her voice. "Anyway, I made dinner if anybody is hungry," She said. "I'm about to leave so stay out of trouble," she said while looking me in the eye".

"Yeah Yeah Yeah ok, "I replied. "Somebody is chattier than what they used to be," she called out from the hallway, "Maybe those friends of yours are a good influence on you."

We hung for a little while, ate some spaghetti and chatted for a while before I brought them home. I returned from dropping everybody off and retreated to my room for some rest.

I climbed into bed staring at the ceiling fan when and intense feeling a sleepiness washed over me. I couldn't even blink before I realized I was asleep.
