The Scary Master Crow, part 3

"Ahh!"

Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa!

Suddenly the disciple began holding their heads as they screamed in pain. And a few seconds later their heads would explode like a watermelon would, if struck by a large hammer.

"Who are you?! Stop this at once!" Elder Frost roared at the red dot that was about to disappear from view.

"How dare you attack my students in front of me?! Are you looking to die?!" Elder Grimm looked angry as well.

Both Elders had stopped fighting and were now focused on their common enemy.

And their simultaneous roar seemed to have its effects as it dispersed the sinister energy which was infiltrating the heads of those disciples. But among the three dozed students that were present earlier, nearly half had died from the shrill scream the red dot in the sky had released.

"Elder Frost, let's set out feud aside for now and deal with this pest. We can get back to our fight after dealing with him." Elder Grimm proposed. While most of the disciples here could only see a red dot in the sky. He and Elder Frost could clearly see that the red dot was actually a person and a very powerful one at that.

"Hmm?" Master Crow hadn't noticed the insects on the ground when he was heading this way. But that was because he usually didn't put anyone in his eyes, and his sole purpose today was to head east and find that ingrate Shadow Two. The reason he didn't doubt Shadow Two when he said he would be waiting for him in the east was because of the powerful Master he figured was behind Shadow Two, acting like his backbone.

There could be no other reason for telling him the direction unless they wanted to confront him in the area they deemed to have the advantage. As for the idea of Nick and Shadow Two teaming up, that thought hadn't even crossed his mind. Why would Shadow Two team up with someone so weak knowing he was being chased by someone as terrifying as Master Crow?

But as he was heading east, he got reminded of Shadow Two's last words, about the pee in the canteen. And just the thought of it left a bad taste in his mouth as if he had just ingested it! So, Crow screamed out his frustrations, and even though he didn't mean to, some bugs on the ground got squashed because of it. He wouldn't have minded it normally, bugs dying was a normal part of life for him, but some people actually yelled at him and stopped his scream from taking as many lives as it should have?!

Slowly turning to look at the two old bones who seemed intent on dying today, Master Crow slowly floated down to face them.

"Say your name, coward! Humph, attacking weak disciples when you're already in the Immortal core realm, you're not even fit to be an Immortal realm warrior!" Elder Frost seemed to really enjoy yelling and every one of his words carried a robust aura that was suffocating to the listener.

"Hehe, say my name? I'm afraid you are not qualified!" Master Crow didn't look the least bit intimidated by the powerful aura the two Elders were emitting.

"Elder Frost, be careful! This man…he's…not human?!" Claire couldn't believe her own words. She had sensed this aura once before when she went on a camping trip to the Devil world with her father. And although the trip might sound like a nice bonding experience between father and daughter, the real reason they went there was so she could adapt to the miasma the Devil world's air contained and to strengthen her internal and external organs in the process.

And the energy this scary fellow in front of her was emitting, reminded her of the Demon that nearly killed her father on the trip, their strength levels were too far apart to be the same entities, but for some reason, their energies were just too identical!

"Little girl, saying something so…stupid in the middle of a serious showdown isn't wise!" Elder Grimm looked a little displeased. What did she mean the man wasn't human, if he wasn't human the what the hell was, he?! A beast?!

Elder Frost just frowned and didn't say anything. In this short time, he had spent with Claire, Elder Frost has learned that she was a woman of few words. And it wasn't like her to say something so outlandish for no reason.

"Interesting…?" Master Crow had been staring at everyone standing in front of him like they were nothing but flies that would soon get swatted away. But his eyes for the first time carried a hint of interest as he looked at Claire with a mixture of shock, confusion, and a hint of…hope. Crow then looked Claire right in her eyes as he asked in agitation, "So, if I am not human, then tell me. What am I?!"

"You are…" Claire was about to answer the question when she noticed the look of anticipation in Master Crow's eyes. Which made her realize that the man, for reasons unknown, didn't know what he was! So, why would she offer a potential enemy with the answers he so desperately seeks?

"Enough chitchat! Announce your name and your cultivation level! I don't fight against nameless fools!" Elder Frost noticed that Claire didn't intend on saying anything more. So, he flew over in front of her, disrupting the eye contact Master Crow had been maintaining with her.

"This is very interesting! For centuries now I have been searching for the truth about my origins, but who knew that today of all days I would be able to find a lead! Young lady, I hope you don't disappoint me too much later on when I torture the truth out of you!" Master Crow didn't seem too angry, because he could tell Claire had the answer, and just wasn't intent on sharing it.

"And since you two insist on getting to know me, I will tell you a couple of things about me. Firstly, my cultivation level is at the first rank of the Immortal Core realm." Master Crow was now addressing the Elders.

"Humph! A mere Immortal Core realm insect dares to act so arrogantly?!" Elder Grimm looked a little relieved when he heard this. Even though the Elders had already guessed this man's cultivation, the aura he released was just too unusual and creepy, which was why they had assumed he was hiding his true cultivation level.

The immortal Core realm was the realm right after the transcendence realm. And although someone in that realm could claim to be powerful, the two Elders were already at the peak of the Immortal foundation realm, which was the next realm after the Immortal Core realm.

"Getting a little too excited, aren't we?" Master Crow was still as playful as he was previously as he talked to the Elders. And then he said his next sentence nonchalantly, with little to no vigor, but the moment they sounded out the faces of both the Elders turned ghastly pale! "And my name, is Crow, Master Crow."

Boom!

It was like a scene out of a movie, the moment Master Crow said his name the sky turned dark, but this wasn't caused by gathered clouds, no, this was caused by the large mass of dark mist that was previously behind Crow but was now slowly enveloping the group.

"…" Elder Grimm shivered from fear at the sound of the name but was trying his best to make sure it wasn't noticeable. That name alone carried enough weight to overwhelm most powers in the world. Master Crow, an assassin said to be able to able to kill a god if he wasn't prepared, was now standing in front of them?!

"Well, I don't have too much time to waste with you all. I need to take that girl and find this bastard student of mine who has run away. So, I will end your lives quickly, I hope you don't resist and make it more difficult for me." Master Crow spoke as if their death was certain.

"I, Frost Titan, of the Giant Frost sect, have never backed out of a fight in all my years! And I will not start today! Let me see just how powerful a man who ranks in the top ten assassins list can be?!" Elder Frost, as always, inspired awe with every word and action he projected. And even the disciples from the Fire and Water Sect were a little jealous that he wasn't their Elder.

"Humph, Old Frost, it seems we will lose our lives today. But let's go out in a blaze of glory, Old buddy! I, Grimm Crane, would also like to see how strong an assassin so much weaker than me in terms of cultivation, can truly be!" Elder Grimm seemed to have regained his nerved upon hearing Elder Frost's empowering speech. Which was why he decided to make his own cool speech before the fight started.

But it seemed that Elder Frost wasn't going to let him have his moment as the Elder roared out, "Who the hell are you calling, buddy?! And you can die by yourself if you want, I have no intention of dying today!"

Frost God Giants twenty transformations, Frost Titan transformation!

Boom!

It seemed Elder Frost was more anxious to start the fight than Crow as he launched the first attack. The Old man wasn't afraid of anything except for dying without pride.

The 'Frost God Giants twenty transformations' was the secret technique of the Giant Frost sect, and every Elder of the sect was a master of one transformation, meaning the sect had twenty Elders in total, with each being a master of a different transformation. And it was only the sect leader who was allowed to learn all the transformations of the technique, making him the most powerful and valuable member of the sect.

Elder Frost's transformation was the Frost Titan, and the moment he unleashed it, the air began solidifying and the earth began to quake! And after the earth shook a bit, everything turned deadly quiet. Yet just as the disciples of the Fire and Water sect were about to voice their confusion, the earth in front of Elder Frost burst into pieces as a large hand made entirely of ice broke through it and clawed at the sky!

The gigantic hand didn't stay clawing at the sky long though as it hammered down on the ground heavily on the next second, right next to the place Master Crow was standing on. But the hand was just too slow as Master Crow only sidestepped to avoid it.

Boom!

But then another hand that was just as large and scary emerged from the ground and repeated this step. And just as everyone, including Master Crow, was wondering what these two hands were up to, the two hands began pushing at the ground it causing to shake much more violently than it did previously. Then slowly, a large head made of ice whose face seemed to be scorning the world rose up from the ground, with the two large hands supporting and pulling it up!

Roooooooooooooar!

The Frost Titan roared to the heavens as he hammered his chest aggressively, causing a couple of ice blocks to flake off and crash to the ground violently.

"Elder Frost, it seems your Titan form has reached great height since I saw you last. Why don't I show you how I've progressed as well, then?!" Elder Grimm felt competitive.

Fire and Water, Flood the city!

This was the secret technique of the Fire and Water sect, and unlike the Giant Frost sect, only had one ultimate attack move. But its power was undeniable!

Shwa!

Fire, blazing with unbelievable ferocity, rushed from the right!

Shwa!

Water, theming with unrestrainable momentum, rushed from the left!

And with the Titan standing in the middle, with white smog exiting his nostrils, all these powers carried a terrifying aura and momentum as they glared down on Master Crow.

"Well, well, well, it seems this isn't going to be an easy battle after all." Master Crow didn't seem happy at all.
