Holy Oak

Ezekiel was riding atop of his Gold-Horned Antelope walking along the hunters on their way to the capital. The Gold-Horned Antelope would have previously not been able to carry him, but had big improvements after its fight with the 12 O'Clock Solar Lynx and had became an Earth Rank-3, getting bigger in the process.

The Antelope sniffed in the air as it started walking towards the side of the road. The hunters saw this, but did not comment on it. After the first four times of this happening they got used to it.

"Finally this is the last herb we needed!" Ezekiel cheered. He was going to complete the previous mission the system had given him.

He picked up the herb and heard a *DING* as Genesis congratulated him.

"You reward has been put in your inventory, good luck on your future missions!" She said.

Ezekiel smiled as he hopped back on the Gold-Horned Antelope and went back towards the hunter group. At least he had one thing to be happy about as of now. He was still sad that he had to leave his parents in order to go to school, but a bird has to leave the nest eventually right?

Ezekiel did some research on the School he was going to trying to get a grasp of what it is going to be like. Well he calls it research, but it was only him asking the Village Chief about the school.

What he got the learn from the village Chief was that Holy Oak generally admits children from any sort of family background as long as they pay the entrance fee. This was why Ezekiel was able to enter the school in the first place.

The school was then divided into classes based on ability. There was five class divisions from A all the way to F. He would be joining the F-Class because he was only an Earth-Rank 1, and had not shown any previous talents.

Students are required to take the three basic classes provided by the school which were General History, Cultivation Study, and a Language Arts class. Arithmetic was required because in this world strength rules, so people who are well studied in math are not the strongest, however everybody needs to know how to read and right.

One of the things that Ezekiel found unfair was that the Nobles who joined the school were not required to join the General History class, or the Language Arts Class. They were still required to join the Cultivation Study class, as all people need to Cultivate.

After the three required classes there was a ton of other optional classes that you have to pay for to attend that you can choose from. Ezekiel had been enrolled in an Alchemy class, and a Beast Taming class. He was happy with the choices that the village chief picked and did not complain.

Now discussing the schools situation, it was ranked third out of all the schools in the Capital. Although it was not the first, it was still one of the top schools to choose from, so Ezekiel wondered how they village payed for him to attend.

The school was called Holy Oak because it actually was built around a Giant Oak tree that bordered the Dark Oak Forest. This giant Oak tree actually prevented any beasts from exiting the forest and attacking the Capital, thus named the Holy Oak, like a guardian deity.

Ezekiel was also happy with where the school was placed, because this meant that it would not slow down his progress with capturing beasts, because there was plenty to choose from in the forest besides his school.

He did not have much to complain about, so he decided not to at all. He and the hunters just walked along the road on their way to the capital.

The hunters just engaged in small talk as they were on their way towards the Capital. They had to pass by two other cities to make it to the capital, so it would take them about two and half weeks to get there.

The excuse they used to convince Ezekiel to let them accompany him, was just that. An excuse. In reality they normally sold their beast skins to the nearest city, but decided to sell in the capital in order to escort him. The capital city did not have a name, and was just known as the capital city, because that was its biggest trademark.

Timed ticked pass and eventually they saw the looming walls of the capital entering their sights. Ezekiel gasped at the sight because they were bigger than all the city walls they had come across as of yet. They were at least one hundred meters tall.

They lined up at the gate, as they waited to enter the capital. They had to be searched, before being admitted entrance into the city.

"We still have three days before the School starts letting the new students in, so Ezekiel we will wait here with you for the three days, then leave the morning after. What do you think?" Diego told him his plans.

Ezekiel looked down at the floor as he mumbled "You guys are just doing so much for me." he kicked the floor with his foot.

Diego heard him and ruffled his hair as he said "Don't think to much about it. If you are still bothered over it, then when you get rich, and strong just remember us will ya?".

Hearing this Ezekiel cheered up a little, and had another reason do desire for power. They eventually entered the city, and looked for an inn to stay in for the three days.
