Planning

Henry leaned back and relaxed in his chair after completing the order. There was only one thing he was slightly displeased with. It would take till tomorrow for the package to arrive so he and his family would have to endure that incessant barking.

Henry deeply sighed as he thought about this and got up from his chair to look out his window into the neighbor's yard. He saw the tiny little dog laying in the middle of the grass absorbing the sun's heat. After a moment the dog seemed to sense that it was being stared at and noticed Henry.

Henry had an ugly expression on his face as the dog had started barking at him. This was his own home! Yet he was being barked at by some retarded dog? He immediately shut his curtains and sat back down at his computer, he enjoyed the dark more anyway.

After sitting back down Henry started making notes of things he may need for future "experiments". After coming up with a list of things he watched anime for the rest of the day until his parents returned home.

Henry had found that he did not like many of the shows he had liked before he was put into the hospitals. In the past, he would often watch those stereotypical romance anime and imagined himself as the main characters. Strong, confident, and handsome these were the things he wanted at that time.

Now though, he found that when he watched those shows he felt nothing. The moments that would use to make him sad or happy no longer did anything for him. As a result, now he watched edgy anime that tried to be brutal and gory.

Although this was far from making him immersed and excited like before these were now the only types of shows that gave him any emotion at all. He had found a few shows he could get into but those were far too short.

Time passed slowly until his parents were finally home. He watched a movie and ate dinner with his parents before heading upstairs to go to bed as he looked forward to the next day. Upon waking up in the morning he realized he had over-slept and his parents were already gone.

After eating the sausage and eggs they left for him he checked the time. Currently, it was 10:30 AM and he decided to wait till three to check the PO box. Having the package delivered to his home directly would have been more convenient but would also have been stupid.

Exposing your address to anyone one the deep web is suicide. He would never count on some random person that was selling him something to keep his address a secret. As a matter a fact he was sure that the person would not only not keep it a secret but also sell it to anyone who wanted.

It is naive to think that your address would hold no value to anyone. Whether it be burglars, traffickers, or any other criminals it can be assured that they would not mind having an address they could at least scope out.

Henry had once read a story about a rich teen who found the need to instigate people on the deep web but was careless enough to let his information get leaked. Not long after his house was broken into.

His dad was killed while he was forced to watch as they raped his mother in sister in front of him killing them afterward. As this wasn't enough they put the gun in his own hand and since they were wearing gloves the only fingerprints were his.

They also made sure to make him shoot the already dead corpses of his mother and sister getting gunpowder residue on his hands. Ten minutes later the police arrived and arrested the teenager. To say the judge who thought the teen had committed these horrible crimes was disgusted and enraged was an understatement. As such he was sentenced to death.

A few years after being behind bars the death sentence was carried out and the truth came to light as the people behind it admitted to it in a post warning people not to fuck with them. Although Henry was not planning on pissing anyone off there was no worth in taking the risk.

Anyone who did not believe any of the stories was simply naive and would be better off staying as far away from the deep web as possible. People would claim they had browsed the deep web and at most found some uncensored real killings.

In reality, though many people had the misconception that accessing the deep web was all one needed to do to find all the horrors on it. This was absolutely not true. If one wanted to truly find the disturbing things on the deep web it would take more than just visiting a site that had a list of deep web links.

These sites were often unreliable anyway as most of the links were down precisely for the fact that they were so exposed. One would have to scour forums for links that headed deeper or they would never know the truth but when one sees the truth they would usually end up wishing they never had.

Henry cleaned up the kitchen and dining room before watching some TV. Only thirty minutes passed by him watching TV but it felt like hours as he could not find anything worth watching. He got on his phone and browsed Meddit for a while before deciding to go on a walk.

Immediately after walking a few feet outside he heard that stupid fucking dog barking again and his mood was completely ruined. He immediately went back into the house and grabbed the PO box keys. Although it was only 11:20 it would take him twenty minutes to walk there.

The mail usually arrived at noon there so at most he was hoping he would only have to wait twenty minutes for the mail to arrive and a little longer for it to be sorted. The only reason he wanted to wait until three before was because he never ordered anything from the deep web before so he was not sure how it would be shipped.

Twenty minutes later Henry arrived at the PO box and immediately decided to check it. He wasn't expecting it yet but to his surprise, it was there. He took out the box casually and proceeded to head back up.

He could feel a combination of anxiety and excitement welling up inside him as he imagined performing his first "experiment". He arrived home at noon and calmed down before making himself a sandwich while opening the box.

Upon opening the box Henry was greeted with a large zipped black bag. Inside the bag was a large rolled up leather belt containing all the tools he needed. From large knives to small scalpels and clamps it was all there.

At the side, there was also a pack of black latex gloves. Henry smiled to himself as he saw this. He was finally ready but there was just one problem now. He would need to subdue the dog and find someplace private to perform his experiment.

He would also need to do this in broad daylight. He decided to find someplace secluded first as having the dog and no place to take it would be too risky. Upon thinking about this Henry sighed and proceeded back outside as he walked along the neighborhood while scarfing down his sandwich.

After walking for ten minutes he came to a chain link fence that separated his neighborhood from a trailer park nearby. Thinking about this for a moment he decided to see if he could find somewhere to take the dog in the trailer park.

He did not need to climb the fence or make a hole as one was already there. A while back there had been a string of robberies in his neighborhood. He assumed this was the way they used to get to his neighborhood.

At that time his house had also been hit by one of the robbers but they didn't take much. It wasn't that they had nothing valuable but that most of it were large items like his TV and computer. It would be too risky to try and take these items as they would need to take the time to unhook them and transport them which would increase the chance of getting caught.

Henry proceeded into the trailer park and walked around for a few moments. In the short moments that he had walked around, he spotted many locations that looked suitable as they were abandoned sheds or trailers.

Now he only needed to pick one and make sure that it would be secure and no one would walk on in him while he was "working". He walked to each place he thought was a good location and looked for any signs of recent activity such as a sleeping bag or blanket.

He also looked for food wrappers or things like banana peels or apple cores and such things. Since those were items the degraded over time then he would be able to tell if anyone had been here recently by how decomposed they were or if there were even any in the first place.

After checking each of the locations he was down to three that had absolutely no sign of human habitation or any sort of presence at all. These were the places that contained many animals and bugs in them.

Although there could and would likely be such things in places humans lived too, they would be much more sparse. At least the animals would anyway. After taking the three into consideration he decided he would take a tiny shack as is "Laboratory" for now.

His reasoning was that people would be less likely to want to stay in such a tiny area over the two other larger ones that seemed more comfortable. Well, as comfortable as can be expected from an abandoned trailer.

After confirming his choice he immediately returned home and started planning how he would subdue the dog. The dog always barked so if the dog barked at him while he was subduing it no one should be particularly alarmed.

No one except the owner which always blamed everyone else for the dogs barking. In terms of the owner, it was pretty simple as she would usually be gone during the day like everyone else. This was why he could not do it at night as the neighbor has their bed next to a window so they can keep an eye on their "precious little baby".

Since there was no issue with the dog barking or the owner this only left two things that concerned Henry. The first is what he would wear, he would need to wear something he didn't mind losing if need be as dog hair and of course blood would likely get all over his clothes.

The second was the walk to the shack he picked. He would need to find a way so that the fact that he was holding a dog outside instead of walking it was not suspicious. Although he could come up with excuses if someone actually stopped and asked he did not want this to happen at all.

The reason that he would be inserting himself into the person's memory by interacting with them. When his neighbor was to realize the dog was gone and put up fliers or something someone who interacted with him while he was holding the dog was more likely to remember him than someone who may have just glanced or waved in passing.

He thought about this as he went to his room and sorted through his clothes looking for something he did not wear for a long time that his parents wouldn't know is missing. He had finally found an outfit he had gotten two years ago when he first started going to high school.
