The Other Fiena

"So going to the ancient library is a waste of time?" Leena wanted to learn more about this world, she was from a whole other realm and she couldn't help but feel completely lost by everything. Sometimes she was half expecting to wake up and for this to all be a horrible nightmare but after so much time had past she had given up on that hope. She was stuck in a world on her own trying to make her way to someone that was across this entire mainland from where she started by the coast.

"Going to Kavira would be more ideal, ask me anything about this world and I'll tell you." Leena wasn't convinced, her and Damon left the tavern a while ago since it was closing down for the night and they were just walking around the city.

"I don't even know that girl, or your sister. I really think I should just try to figure things out on my own. Besides, I have to find my cousin and as much as meet a group of magical folks sounds great, now isn't the time." Leena spotted a small house with a room available sign at the front window. She headed down to the place with Damon following right behind her. He wasn't sure what else to tell her to convince her that reaching his sister was in her best interest.

"Fine. I can't change your mind but I will come with you to the Fairy Domain." Leena shifted her body only slightly to gaze over Damon's face. She knew he meant well but she still had a hard time believing that he didn't want to somehow get her to join his sister and their questing group without more reason.

"Why are you doing all of this? I'm just a stranger to you. Do you really think I wouldn't reach your sister group and try to kill them all?" Leena couldn't make out what his end goal was, he wanted her to join his sister and this girl Kavira but he hadn't explained why. He just beat around the bush saying that they're like her and trying to convince Leena like she had never seen magical wielders.

In his defense, she did hide the fact that in her world magic wielders were the majority and there was no such thing as magical creatures. This world was entirely different than her own, without knowing whether the Door of Viaje could be opened on this end of the realm it was difficult to trust anyone with this kind of information.

"The dead army that I told you about.. My family has received reports that it is gathering numbers and training hard to attack the land within the rim soon." Damon was calm in speaking but Leena could see in his eyes that their was fear in his heart. "The creatures that joined the man in the red mask, Kizuato, are strong and ruthless. You have magic, you can help us. I can look into your eyes and see that you have a noble heart, I don't think you would do anything to hurt anyone that hasn't hurt you"

Leena wasn't interested in playing the hero, she wanted to reach Amira but she wasn't too hasty because she had seen her. This, Kizuato guy would hurt her but not kill her, she had also decided that rushing in would be the worst idea for everyone especially since the man might have seen her. Whoever he was, many people were afraid of him and even though she wasn't, she also wasn't about to be stupid. "I'm leaving tomorrow morning, if you're still up for joining me you can meet me at the entrance gates. I left my cockatrice there."

Damon wasn't sure how he was going to convince his father, Master Fei, to let him go but he needed to find a way.

The following morning Leena was stuffed with food and stocked with vegetables for the road. She was surprised to find that this city was full of vegans, she half expected there to be malicious hunters and not simply an agricultural community. She didn't mind though, it keeps her healthy while being on the road going from city to city. She had taken out Lucky from the stables and was mounted ready to go.

Damon appeared five minutes later, he requested Leena to wait while he took his mount out. A magnificent griffin with white skin and black feathers, his name was Black.
