Ari

Sam spots an ideal target, staring at him from across the hall, seeming to want to talk to him, but just watching. Sam locks eyes with her and moves towards her. The girl notices his eye contact and reels backward around the corner. She then struts out like nothing happened and walked in his direction. Sam didn't know how to react to the strange blue-skinned girls' action but didn't care.

"Miss," Sam called out. The girl turned towards him trying to look composed as she focused on him.

"Yes, how may I help you"

"Yes, ah... I was looking for my ship and wondering if you could lead me to it." As soon he finished speaking her green sapphire eyes looked as if the had become the sun with their brightness. A smile was plastered across her face now.

"I'll lead there on one condition." She said holding up a finger.

"And that would be?" Sam asked.

"You have to show me the ship, inside and out. You see I'm not allowed in there, but... if the captain of the ship says so..." Sam nods in understanding.

"That's fine by me, as long as you don't break anything." She seemed almost giddy now as she was hopping from foot to foot in excitement.

"Alright, follow me!" She shouted taking of in a sprint down the hall. My GOD, she was fast, it took all Sam had to keep up with her. Eventually arriving in front of a slick white tram, or more like a bullet train, except it looked more advanced with all the pipes and tubes. "HEY, STOP DALIN AND GET ON!" The girl was inside waving at me to get in. Once inside and moving, Sam turned and look her over.

She had flowy black hair that curled down slightly past her shoulders, green sapphires for eyes, and blue skin. Then it struck him, what was her name? Not just that, there was something about her that was familiar, like the way she acted.

Suddenly a memory entered his head. It was the day he confessed to Mary, that day on the beach. Marys' shouts and wooots of laughter and joy, they played in the waves.

Sam splashed her, and she shrilled in laughter as she fought back splashing him directly in the face. Sputtering she laughed, as Sam tried to clear seawater from his face. We had been friends ever since Sam could remember and was always full of laughter. After Sam had cleared his face and seen hers. Sam decided it was time and he told her how he felt. He could still remember him picturing her saying no and souring their relationship, being terrified of what that meant.

To his joy she said yes, a had been together ever since, moments flashed before his eyes, their first kiss, their first date, they're 'First'. They were keeping that one a secret tho. It was there promise to each other to stay together forever and ever... While silly at such a young age, they were serious. "Hey, are you okay? Why are you crying?" Shaken from his memory Sam wiped his tears.

"It's nothing, it just, you remind me of someone I used to know." "So," Sam said, trying to change the subject. "What is your name?"

"Oh... I guess I haven't told you yet huh. The name's Ari, Ari Eilius." Ari said, standing in a dramatic pose.

"The note writer! So that was you."

"Yep... by the way, did you like the view?" Ari said, with a smug expression on her face. At first, he was confused, but then it hit him. Flustered Sam struggled to speak, fortunately, the train came to a sudden stop and a voice overhead called; "YOU HAVE ARRIVED AT HANGER 21." Taking advantage Sam stood.

"Let's be on our way." Striding out the door before Ari could question him any further. Behind me I heard a soft giggle, "So you did..." Ignoring her I strode forward through the hall until he eventually walked out into a massive expanse, ships could be seen in almost every direction high or low. Sam's mouth dropped in awe, ships big and small.

"Suprised, are you? Well, there are a lot more ships where this came from, let me tell you." Ari said nonchalantly. Reeling in his surprise he scanned for his ship, following the dot to a closed set of double doors to his right. In front stood a male Vasian guard on high alert. Walking up to him, he reacted immediately pointing his plasma pistol at me.

"State your business." The guard said before recognition crossed his face, pulling back. "Sorry about that, proceed. The guard thumb a code on the door and it opened up to let me through. I walked through and Ari went to follow but the guard put his arm in front of her. "Halt, you're not allowed in." Sam turns to the guard, "She's with me." The guard looked at me with a raised brow, before shrugging. "Whatever... proceed, keep it quiet." I didn't hear as I went on ahead, however, Ari did, flushing bright red telling the guard it wasn't like that.

Sam was in front of the ship, a tear near came to his eye as Sam saw his ship in its pristine glory.

"Finally, I'm back."
