Ryu stared in amazement after what he had heard. He was dazed because he doesn't think that he should have this. What more is that he is using the name 'Administrator Alice'.
"What the heck did I just get? I just arrived in this world a month ago, I don't like having all these complicated stuff. I just want to live peacefully somewhere until I complete Alice's bet."
For a few minutes he stood there, wondering what he should do next.
"Alice!" He called for the goddess using his newly obtained voice, but as he waited there, nothing happened.

" Well I guess I have to learn more things, I actually need a guide of some sort here in this world. I hope I can find some friends soon"

It was nearing night time, Ryu then prepared a campfire for him to stay the night with.
"This tastes good, it could use some salt though"
Ryu said so as he takes a bite out of the Beast he had killed earlier. The beast had a strong flavor, similar to a bear where it also has a strong smell. Ryu fixed this by cooking it on the fire that has been put up by the Fire Stones. He also got creative and used some herbs and plants he harvested through his journey to give flavour to the meat.
" I wonder what the dishes in this world tastes like? I somehow want to travel to taste all of it, but that won't be happening because of my Demon body I guess"
Ryu pondered by the campfire for a while thinking about delicious food that he can taste in this world. Ryu was actually good in cooking, he took cooking classes on weekends since he was 13. So it can be said that Ryu has some experience on cooking food.
" Oh yeah I remember something! I got Mana Perception!"
Just as he was about to doze off, he remembered about the skill he received earlier. He wanted to try it, so he cleaned up the area and placed the remaining beast meat in his storage.
" This skill is really convenient, having an endless inventory is cool" said Ryu as he place the remaining items in his storage.
" 'Mana Perception'!"
Ryu's eyes were showing a faint color of dark blue. He looked through the surroundings somehow seeing how the Mana flows and what it looks like.
"This is actually pretty amazing, it's like a beautiful river."
Mana in this world are freely flowing in the surrounding. They are released by Mana Reserves in the ground, where they start to flow into every direction. There are many Mana Reserves in this world, but places like these are usually inhabited by strong monsters.
" Maybe now I can use some magic?" said Ryu as he excitedly ready his arm to cast Fire Magic.
"[Fire Magic]" said Ryu in a low voice, aware of the dangers of the forest at night. But as he expected, nothing happened. He didn't even see change in the surrounding Mana after saying the spell.
"Still no huh? Well I guess I'll really have to learn you another day. I also got 'Self Destruct earlier which is scary, I hope I don't accidentaly use it. I guess it's about time I sleep" said the Demon as he added more fuel to the fire to act as his monster repellant during his sleep.
Ryu laid down on the ground by the campfire, staring at the night sky that was filled with stars. This was the first time Ryu saw how beautiful the night sky is. In Earth most of the time you cannot see the night sky because of Light Pollution. So for Ryu, this was truly a great change of pace.
He slept peacefully during the night. With no signs of monster disturbance, he was actually a bit happy.

Ryu woke up in the morning, feeling refreshed and energized because of his long rest. Again, he travelled through the big forest, hoping to find a place where he can get information or stay safe.

Town of Asda, near Gray Mountains
Meanwhile in the nearby town of Asda, the streets were already active early in the morning. Peddlers and merchants alike are already trading. It can be seen that most of the goods are ores and monster materials taken from the Gray Mountains.
Asda was a small town located near the Gray Mountains. It is special because it is one of the 9 towns that was independently managed and was not owned by the Kingdom. It usually profits with trading usually with ores and monster materials.
The East side of Asda is also very busy in the morning, because this is where it is located, the Adventurer Guild.
The Guild is an independent organization, also not owned by the Kingdom. But it can be located in almost every city or town in the continent.
"uhmm Ms. Receptionist can i kindly register for the Guild?"
A young boy, dressed in cheap equipment was trying to join the Guild. He had brown hair that covers his left eye. He equips a small hunting dagger in his waist and was equipped with old looking clothes. It was obvious he was poor.
" Oh sure, but there is a registration fee of 50 silver"
Knowing this, the boy handed over the amount to the receptionist and smiled as he got the right amount in his pockets. He got most of the money by working in the farmlands, and had saved 1 gold coin, which equals to 100 silver coins. He spent a total of 2 years amounting this money, because since he was a child he has always dreamed of being a strong adventurer.
" Ok then please tell me your name, you will start in the lowest possible rank which is bronze, and you could also tell me your class if you have one, so I can better choose quests for you."
"Keel, Keel Hashito is my name, but I don't really have a class yet so maybe leave that empty?" said the boy to the receptionist.
"Well then welcome to the Guild! You may choose a quest for now that is suitable for bronze rank, however if you join a party with a higher rank in it, you can participate on the quest."
Guild rankings are separated in to five categories Bronze, Iron, Silver, Gold, and Crystal. Most adventurers are silver ranked while the powerful ones are at Crystal.
" Hey kiddo wanna party with us? "
Two older looking men approached Keel and acted friendly with him. They stink of alcohol and were probably troublesome .
Keel looked at them nervously with eyes full of anxiousness.
" Don't look at us that way! We probably look like drunkards but we're both iron class adventurers." said the man as he struggles to stand up.
" Come on kid, let's from a party, we can them do this quest and get some money"
" uhmm sure?" said Keel as he was relaxed by the ranks of the two adventurers because with them, he thinks that he can be safe.
"Well then if you are an Iron party I recommend three quests. Ore mining, Forest Investigation, or Beast Subjugation. If you choose now your party will first be processed and you will start the quest in about 4 days, is that okay for you guys?"
"Yeah it's okay with us, so I think we'll have to go with the Investigation" said the drunk man while filling up the papers for party creation.
"uhmm Ms. Receptionist can we know what kind of investigation we're going to do" asked Keel as he also fills in the form for party creation.
" There have been rumors that something is living in the forest in the past few weeks. Campfires can be seen scattered around by Forest Rangers but they don't know who is setting them up. So they asked the guild to help investigating this matter"
After getting information about the quest the three man party bid farewell to each other and promised to meet up on the day of the quest in four days.
