After contemplating his so-called plan for a while, Lucas analyzed himself.

"Why is my mental energy so high compared to other attributes? Is it related to the memory alteration skill? Hmm, seems like it."
"Hehe, well, it's good in any case. The more, the merrier."
Lucas then started meditating, and 2 hours later, he reached Planet Alios.
As the planet was situated in the green zone, it was one of the planets having habitable conditions. So the environment was almost the same as that back in Ying-Yang City, except that there was more vegetation and less pollution here.
The reason was that the planet was inhabited by alien beings known as Alis, and after some major incident, the whole civilization was destroyed overnight by some strange phenomenon.
The planet then went under isolation as it was surrounded by a magnetic field force, which recently got weakened, and hence the Empire sent its forces down there to build basic structures and colonize the planet as it came under the empire's ruling zone.
All this information was collected by Lucas after surfing on the net.
Lucas, after landing, hired a private jet to drop him off at the mission coordinates as local government transport was not well developed here.
Max, the pilot of the jet, was quite the talkative person. Due to low population, he rarely got a chance to speak to anyone.
After speaking with Max, Lucas learned that the 'strange' phenomenon that wiped out the entire species was related to the king of the Alis, and Lucas was actually headed towards the capital city according to Max.
"Yo buddy, it was nice to talk to ye. If ye ever want something on this fuckin' shithole, give me a call, will ye?"
Lucas smiled, "Mate, I will give you a call after the job's done, so come pick me up then. We will discuss the interesting stuff you said, savvy?"
"Aye, aye."
Lucas then turned towards the incoming jeep and put on his game face. The jeep was the Dark Guild's vehicle to transport assassins like him to the required location outside the city gate.
30 minutes later, Lucas was now standing in front of a huge gate surrounded by a blue barrier, which was only visible when something like dust or materialistic tried to pass through it.
In front of the gate, a small facility was established. Of course, it was Dark Guild's.
But in his daze, he hadn't noticed someone approaching him.
"Interesting, right? But the barrier will be shut down within 5 minutes."
Lucas turned his head just to see a beautiful lady with green eyes and black sleek hair staring at him. Her age was probably between 20 to 25, given her assets were medium-sized.
*Cough..cough*
Lucas turned around and gave his standard suave smile and started talking, "Didn't know there were other species like Angels here besides humans and the dead Alis."
Hearing Lucas's response, the girl rolled her eyes.
"I just came to inform you that you better enter one of the facilities, or you will die due to explosion when the barrier shuts down. Have a nice day."
The girl then walked away before giving him a fake smile. Lucas was not surprised,
"Indeed, beauty brings attitude with it. But don't worry, babe, I will take you down for sure. Hehe."
Lucas was confident with his own looks and skills when it came down to chasing girls. His short black hair, blue eyes, jawline, and sharp eyes, although he looked a little childish, that was due to his young age. But for sure, he could make any average girl fall for him.
(Note: cover image depicts Lucas of the near future.)
Lucas loved challenges. The more difficult it was to court a girl, the more interesting the task would become. He knew if he became serious, he could even get a ticket to the Queen's bedchambers. But alas, his priority was becoming strong. As for chicks, it was just a game for him.
"I am just in my twenties. I will consider being serious only after having enough fun. HeHe."
Lucas then shamelessly followed the girl into the facility but didn't converse as he knew it was time to get serious.
Lucas equipped his dark armor, the General's windbreaker, bang bangs, bombs, and stuff.
"A shame I didn't get the time to build the Adamantium suit from the blueprints."
After suiting up, just as he walked to the front, a huge explosion shook the entire place with dust and some rubble falling down from the roof of the facility. Across the window at the front, he saw a single man retracting his fist and watching the barrier crumble.
"B ranked at least, interesting."
The alarm commenced after the barrier was broken.
______________
Alert! System Announcement
All conflicts are prohibited outside the barrier.
Priority Target One is The Codex.
All facility gates are now open.
All personnel prepare to engage.
Alert!....
______________
"Hehe, it's show time." Lucas then rushed off to the direction of the barrier like all others, and as soon as he went in, what awaited him was a grand city, tall central pillars that supported all roads with buildings built around them.
All buildings were looking dull and white unanimously. The height of the buildings increased as it reached the center, where a tall skyscraper was standing proudly.
The city was completely deserted as far as Lucas could see. There was no sign of any life. Lucas then started evaluating the city itself.
"Hmm, 5/10, sorry, but I have seen better."
Well, Lucas was once a god, so his score should be understandable, even if others would choke for sure after hearing his thoughts.
Lucas knew that the codex thing was most probably hidden in the tower at the center. He could already see around 30 people rushing towards the tower through the main road in front of the gate.
