Entering the town

"Hey, What are you here?"

"I am from the northern tribe, here to sell corn."

"Show me your pass"

"Here, Sir! Please take a look at this. I am sure you have seen it before. "

"Hm, We Rang Town Guards don't remember faces but we do remember criminals. So, If I recognize you it means you are a criminal."

"Of course Sir, Rang Town Guards are the most professional."

"Hmph, at least you know. Now, quickly enter the town, don't let the queue grow."

"Sure Sir, I will be entering now. if you want to buy corn, please contact me. I will give you a discount."

Guards were standing at the entrance of the Rang town, interrogating everyone who wished to enter the town. They have been busy this whole afternoon and were really tired out but their job forced them to be vigilant and make sure that no one unauthorized entered the town.

They were busy in their work when they suddenly saw a carriage filled with children entered their sight. They furrowed their eyebrows as they felt disgusted seeing them.

"Tch, another slave trader. I wish those bastards don't come here so often. Those inhumane bastards. they don't even spare kids", complained a guard who was dressed sloppily and had a small mustache on his face. He always hated those cruel slave traders who didn't know the word 'pity'.

He coldly looked as the carriage grew closer. He looked at the man who was riding the carriage and was struck dumbstruck. The man didn't look anything like a scum slave trader.

He was a handsome boy, with an innocent smile on this face and looked as if he was a preacher. His body emitted the electromagnetic waves of innocence and purity. He looked slightly weak but his buff muscles spoke otherwise.

The guard calmed down after seeing the boy's appearance but still, he didn't lose his vigilance. He quickly grabbed his spear and looked tensely at the boy.

"Hey, look it is another slave trader."

"Another scum brought back pitiful children"

"What pitiful? They are children of rebels they are not pure like others."

"Shut Up! Children are all the same, they are not like you filled with evil seeds inside their heart."

"What the f**ck did you say? I will kill you"

"Come, who is afraid."

"Hey hey, stop both of you. Look at the man driving the carriage. He doesn't look like a fierce barbarian coming here to trade small kids."

"Tch, He is really pretty but who can say that he is not a slave trader. I bet he deceives innocent people with that face of his."

Samad heard the people talk about him as soon as he entered the queue standing in front of the town gates and felt helpless. He didn't understand that after painstakingly saving these children, how come he became the bad guy? He decided to ignore the gossip around him and decided to enter the town as it was his turn.

He saw as a tense guard quickly walked up to him with the stern and careful eyes.

"Who are you and why are you here?"

"Hello friend, I am alone cultivator who was out training in the woods, when I saw some evildoers torturing young children. I could not let the cruelty go on and decided to punish the evil. After a tiring battle, I defeated those bastards and save these children. I came here because I wanted to help these poor kids find some shelter and food.", answered Samad who already prepared the answer beforehand.

"Oh! So this young man saved these children, How noble! It looks like we misjudged him."

"Hmph, but who knows if he is speaking the truth. "

The crows began to gossip again as they heard Samad's reply.

The guard lowered his alertness when he heard the answer to his question. He curiously looked at the boy in front of him and asked,

"Do you have a pass? "

"Of course, I have it. I happened to come here before and got myself a pass. Here ..", answered Samad as he handed a stone token to the guard.

Samad found this token on the dead bodies of the dead slave traders when he was plundering them.

Even though he altered the token with the help of the System, he was still worried when the guard started to carefully examine the token. He tensely looked at the guard and started to sweat a little.

The guard carefully inspected the token and soon raised his eyes as he looked at the boy who handed him the token.

Samad breathing nearly stopped when he saw the guards eyes. He felt like the student who got caught cheating in the exams. He could not comprehend why he was feeling this nervous. With his strength he could easily destroy this whole town but in front of this weak Soldier Class guard, he felt so nervous that his palms got sweaty.

"Damn those teachers of mine! They really trained my mind very thoroughly. " , Samad cursed at the teachers of his past life but he breathe a sigh of relief inwardly when he heard the guards words.

"Hm, You may enter the town"

"Oh, I may?....Thank you", answered Samad who was still a little unsettled.

Samad quickly calmed himself down and began to ride the carriage towards the gate but his heart jumped out of his chest when he heard a voice behind him.

"Wait! ..."

Samad robotically turned his head around and saw the guard come towards him. His body tensed again as he looked at the young guard.

"I just want to say, thank you for saving these children."

"Oh! right...don't mention it. It was my duty ", Samad quickly answered with a cliche line.

"I like you. You are just my type. Contact me if you need any help in the town.", said the young guard a he beamed happily at Samad's reply.

"Oh! OK...I will..", answered Samad as he felt shivers down his reply after hearing what the guard said.

"Damn! I need to escape quickly. Getting on good terms with his guy seems more dangerous", muttered Samad silently in his heart as he got goosebumps all over his body.

"My name is Nasir, what's yours?", asked the guy who didn't noticed the vigilance Samad was showing towards him.

Samad nervously looked at the guard and answered,

"Samad"

"Samad! What a strange name...", the guard muttered but Samad didn't heard him clearly.

"OK! Sorry to take your time. You may go now.", said the guard.

Samad quickly rushed towards the gate like he was being chased by a terrifying beast leaving behind a bewildered guard.

Samad looked behind and soon calmed down as he noticed that no one was following him.

"Sigh! That was close...Well now, finally i have entered the town".

Samad muttered as he finally entered the town.

"Well, where should i go now?"
