Qualifying for The Indigo league and Grand Festival.( part. 3)

Zero continue with his travel after leaving Misty with her sister and Giselle as guest.

In terracotta town Zero won the last Ribbon he needed to take part in the Gran festival. 

It was of no difficulty for Zero to win, the mayor contenders already won their Ribbon and the competition now can considered weak, because the strong people already won their ribbons as the grand festival will be held one month before the Indigo league.

At Viridian city, Zero went directly to the gym.

Zero: Good luck I'm not going to receive that shit from Giovanni.

Now it will take at least one more month for Mewtwo to be created and Giovanni still have time to fight against trainers in a serious fight.

Zero: I'm zero, I'm here to challenge the gym leader.

Giovanni: I'm the Gym leader. it is a battle of 6vs6, only the challenger is allowed to change Pokemon's

Go Dugtrio.

Zero: I choose you, Exeggcute.

use stun spore

Giovanni: Avoid using Dig, then earthquake.

Zero: Now use hypnosis.

Exeggcute make Dugtrio fell asleep but he received damage.

Zero: Solar beam.

After charging the attack, it hit Giovanni's Pokemon as it remind sleeping. It cause him to lose the battle.

Giovanni: Nidoqueen crush him, use thunder.

Zero: leech seed.

Exeggcute at last second made his attack before getting hit by thunder.

The Pokemon the Giovanni was strong, and his electric attack was effective making Exeggcute to lose.

Zero: Good work, Munchlax is your turn.

Defense curl.

Giovanni: Double kick

Zero: Now body slam.

Munchlax could resist the attack thanks to the increase of defense and got the opportunity to hit Nidoqueen.

Giovanni: Earthquake

Zero: Rest.

The attack hit munchlax but he recover due rest and avoid being defeated.

Giovanni: Double kick

Zero: Wake up Munchlax, use fire punch.

Surprisingly, Munchlax listen to Zero and caught by surprise Giovanni and Nidoqueen. 

His attack was faster than Nidoqueen.

It was a solid attack and seems that Nidoqueen got hit in a weak spot as she lost fighting ability.

Munchlax evolve into Snorlax after defeating Nidoqueen.

Zero: Great Snorlax.

Giovanni: Nidoking is your turn.

Thunder

Zero: Rest.

Snorlax use the same strategy as before, this time Giovanni did not take risk.

Giovanni: use earthquake.

Zero: Sleep talk.

Before been hit by earthquake, Snorlax release an hyper beam which cause a lot of damage to Nidoking.

Zero: Return Snorlax you have done a great work.

Zero: Evee Help me.

Use quick attack.

Giovanni: Thunder

Zero: Protect and Shadow ball

After Evee defend the attack of Nidoking he immediately release a shadow ball hitting him at the head.

Giovanni: Double kick.

Zero: avoid with dig and get behind him to finish him with quick attack.

zero did not leave a change to Nidoking to do earthquake, Evee quickly executed what Zero told him to do defeating Nidoking who was already exhausted  and injured because of his battle with Snorlax.

Giovanni. Rhydon 

Zero: come back Evee. Is your turn Dragonair

Dragon rush.

Giovanni: Horn drill

In the match both Pokemon got damage by the skill of the other.

Giovanni: Rock slide.

Zero: Avoid it and use Aqua tail.

Giovanni: wait for him and use fury attack

Zero: Continuous use of Aqua tail.

Both Pokemon began a battle of attrition.

It end at a draw as Rhydon have high defense and Dragonair High Attack

Giovanni: My last Pokemon, Persian 

Zero: you are one of the strongest gym leader in kanto.

Zero: Evee, use shadow ball

Giovanni: dig

Persian was quick and evade the attack of Evee.

Giovanni: Shadow ball

Zero: protect

Giovanni: Hyper beam

The moment the effect of protect ended, Persian defeat Evee with an Hyper beam.

Zero: Charizard is your turn.

Giovanni: Dig

Zero: Flamethrower at the hole

Giovanni: get out of there and use ice beam.

Zero: Fire spin

Persian evaded the flamethrower when he was at the hole and his Ice beam got blocked by the fire spin.

Zero: Now seismic toss

Persian got slam into the ground

Giovanni: Hyper beam

Zero: face it, use Dragon tail

Zero knew about the personality of Charizard so he went according to his wishes for a direct confrontation and Charizard respond to those feelings by wining against the Hyper beam of Persian and the Pokemon battle.

Giovanni: This is the Earth badge, now leave my gym.

The last battle is meaningless, you have proved your strength.

Zero was not offended by the attitude of Giovanni, either way he only came for the badge.

After walking for some hours he return to his hometown after a long journey.
