It was already the last week of their combat training.

At first Zero was cautious enough and did not let Blissey challenge Pokemon stronger than her.

 It was a correct choice , the first week, his Pokemon got defeat by the other Pokemon's , Mostly because of the disadvantage of types, only Blissey battle against Pokemon's of similar strength with no advantage or disadvantage of type.

 It was of great help, Blissey did not get hurt and could use her skills to recover his other Pokemon.

The second week, Zero Pokemon were capable of battling Pokemon's of same or slightly more powerful, it was a great progress considering the disadvantages of types.

The third week was the hardest for Zero Pokemon's as their training difficulty increase as they have to defeat stronger Pokemon's with disadvantage of types using skills who were no effective against the other pokemons. 

It cause Zero Pokemon to became adept at avoiding and conserve energy in battle which was the main goal of Zero.

Zero also practice his body movement to avoid with some weak wild Pokemon's.

Moreover his gains were not only in training his pokemon, he also got a lot of Evolutionary stone of each type.

His system function to pick was a cheat, he was more efficient than a mining company. 

He could get a lot of good things from deep underground without effort.

The last week of Zero training he makes Blissey stop fighting, and make her use Gravity in his own Pokemon during battle. He also began to practice a performance with Blissey for the Grand Festival.

System: yes, the only need is to get a set of Mega stone and key stone and the system will be capable of fusing them.

After resting at the Hotel he went to register to the Grand festival.

Zero: I want to take part in the Grand festival.

In the second round, Zero easily won in the battles until the final match.

He previously though that the boy with vulpix would be a strong opponent because he was better compared with him at the performance, and his vulpix won the battles fast.

But, in the battle against him, Zero began to noticed a point that he always avoid subconsciously.

Not every coordinator can train strong Pokemon's as they focus more of their time in the beauty of their moves. 

Those who have Pokemon's good at showing the beauty of their moves and are strong, are mostly top coordinators.

Announcer: After many battles we finally have our finalists; Who will be victorious and became the  owner of the Ribbon cup?

let's welcome  our contestant.

In the right side we have Solidad from Pewter city.

In the left , Zero from Palet town.

Solidad: I'm suppose that you made it to the finals. 

Zero: I will fight with all my strength to get the ribbon cup. 

Solidad: Is not just strength, I will make you see that being a coordinator is not that simple.

Zero: I never said that is easy. Go Blissey.

Solidad: Lapras, it's the last battle.

Use ice beam.

Zero: Blissey use limb screen.

Solidad: change the direction towards the floor.

Zero had no time to respond and the floor became an ice floor.

Zero: Thunderbolt.

Solidad: avoid it and body slam.

Zero: defense curl.

Zero had no choice, only to defend; Lapras was fast to move in ice, and the first confrontation Solidad make him lose points for using a skills with no utility as the ice beam never hit Blissey skill.

Zero: Blissey use ice beam against the floor.

Solidad: is our opportunity Blizzard.

Zero: defend use Light screen.

Blissey create some ice pillars and after that she create a light screen to protect herself from the skill from Lapras.

Zero: Now Blissey egg bomb.

Solidad: Lapras avoid it.

 Lapras easily avoid the egg bomb.

Solidad: Now use body slam.

Solidad got confident thinking that it was difficult for Blissey to move in ice and did not notice that at the edge of the field the egg bomb of Blissey was hitting against many large ice pillar she previously created.

Zero: Now Blissey. use gravity in yourself and Drain punch, send Lapras towards the ice pillars.

When Lapras Body slam collide with Blissey drain punch, the result surprise everybody.

Blissey became heavier; it made it easier for Blissey to avoid getting push and her strength in arms was trained by Zero with emphasis.

During their training sometimes Zero made Blissey to lift Snorlax.

When Lapras got in range of the pillars she got hit by the egg bomb that Blissey previously throw.

Zero: Finish it with thunderbolt.

Solidad: ice beam

It took some time for Lapras adjust his body to fight back, the moment Lapras release his skill; the thunderbolt was very close.  The moment of the impact it created an explosion that send Lapras to crash with the few ice pillars that were not destroyed by Blissey Egg bomb.

Announcer: Congratulations to Zero coordinator for becoming the champion.

When Zero and Solidad hear the announcer they turn their view towards the giant TV to watch the result.

In the screen it was show that Lapras beauty points hit zero and Blissey points were almost clean, with one more skill that made Blissey at disadvantage, Zero would have lost.

Solidad: Congratulations, you were capable of turning the result of the battle and won the Ribbon cup.

Zero: Thanks, it was close and I have to admit that luck was an important part for my victory.

Solidad: luck is also part of strength.
