Jay woke up heavily breathing, drenched in his own sweat and his throat dry. Even though he was so uncomfortable and tired, his rage was blinding out and pushing out every other things that his body was feeling. He tried to move his hand to take out the IV needle but only to realize that he was bound to the bed.
There was no one around so he screamed at the top of his lungs to get anyone's attention. And soon enough, a nurse came in and he told her to release him. So the nurse nodded and untied his arms and feet, he then tore the IV drip out and ask the nurse to bring in his belongings.
He didn't know how long he had been asleep for, nor what day he was. All he saw was the blood that he'd be bathing in. It was 2 in the morning from the clock on the hospital wall when he dressed and headed out on to the streets. He had his wallet and maybe Jace expected him to run out without notifying anyone, so there was a lot more cash then Jay carried usually.
Jay turned his phone off, and walked to a near by park and sat down on a clean bench. When he took out one of the bills in his wallet a note fell out.
'Jay I know you will run out and try to deal with things yourself, like you did when you wee younger. I should have done something, anything to help you carry that heavy load on your shoulders. I was a bad grandpa. But let me tell you, when I was young and my father stepped down and crowned me the new boss, I was arrogant. Too reckless, and I did everything by myself just like you are about to do. My father saw, but left me to face the road with a dead end. I learned my lesson, it's time to learn yours before you drag yourself into a void.'
PS: If you had time to read this note; then get your sorry ass to my office!
-Jace
Jay dropped the note and laughed at the utter foolish remark of the last sentence. The laughter turned into silent sobs to him shedding tears with his head down alone in the park.

After he had finally stopped crying and calmed himself enough he turned his phone back on. He had been at the park for over an hour it seems. He noticed that his aunt had called him yesterday, he debated whether he would call back or ignore. He pressed the call back button, walking to the direction to Jace's house.
"Hello?" a familiar annoying high pitched voice picked up after about 7 rings.
"Yea, what'd you call me for?...bitch."
The person on the other line went silent for a while.
"Hurry up."
"Jay, we are on our way to father-in-law's house."
"Oh. Then make a U-turn and get your asses back to where you crawled out from.
"-are you talking to that bastard?!"
-Beep-
"What a fucking dickhead."
