. Attacked

After I was questioned for an hour by my teachers, friends, classmates and the police (why, I don't know of), we all went to class. I sat in my seat beside the window and stared outside for the whole lesson until I noticed something: a group of people walking across the courtyard. I recognised the people leading. It was the man from L.I.A.R.. the one who set my house on fire.

I couldn't control my body, I just instinctively stood up, shoving my desk and chair into the person behind and in front of me.

"Miss Rain, please sit back down," Miss Hans snapped at me, I just stepped back as the man looked directly up to my floor, through the window, and into my eyes.

"Hello again, JJ, daughter of the Rain's," he laughs madly, "I believe a little mouse escaped their untimely death."

"I suggest you leave, you may regret being here," I replied, pulling my phone out of my hoodie and dialling for JoeJoe.

"Hey sis I'm in class, can you not?" I heard JoeJoe's voice as I put her on speaker and turned the volume up.

"Yeah, well L.I.A.R.. is here, and I need help," I say back before cricket serving my phone out of the window and straight towards the group of people. The last thing I heard from my phone was:

"The boys are on their way."

I watched through the window, waiting for what was to come next.

"Everyone stay away from the window," I say, they all stand up and move to the back wall. I move with them.

"JJ Rain... JJ Rain... JJ Rain!" I heard the man choke out between fits of laughs, "oh would your father and mother be disappointed in you."

I looked down and clenched my fists together. I couldn't see the man, but, I knew he was smirking and staring up into my class window.

"I'm sure that Madam Kinata and Master Darius will happily take you in though!" he laughed more, "ho-ho, I remember meeting you as a wee little critter. Oh those eyes were capturing."

I took a couple steps forward, stepping over bags and chairs that had fallen on the floor. Stopping a little ways away from the window, enough that I could see the large group of people and the top of the man's hood.

I stand still and close my eyes, darkness clouds my vision until it suddenly lightens up, a familiar phoenix floats in front of me.

"Hello, JJ. What is your wish?" Lucius' voice filled my ears.

"My wish?" I asked, looking up and then back down, "my wish is to be strong."

"Very well, in return, my wish is you succeed," he responded, my vision went dark again and I opened my eyes, hopping up onto the windowsill. I stand straight up and put my left hand in the position of a make belief gun.

"Boom," I say blankly, a large fire ball flies from my fingers and travel down to L.I.A.R..

"JJ?" Miss Hans exclaimed in shock, I turned around and smiled weakly.

"I'm sorry, but this is just something I've got to do," I say before jumping out of the window and landing in a tree not too far below and then swinging to the ground. Zeke and Tim also appeared by my side.

"Hello, we apologise for the wait," Zeke waved before pointing to a group of people further away.

I nodded and watched as the smoke cleared. The man stepped into sight and smiled wickedly.

"Go," he mumbled before turning around and walking away. All the other people, that he was with, charged forward. Their eyes glowing in equal anger.

"Protect the school," Conrad yelled as he pushed himself to the front of the crowd and then running forward.
