A Drunken night - I

Evelyn gulped the contents of her glass, it was too sad for her, too, too sad. She felt heartbroken and angry at everyone around her. It did not help that room had not even called her once to make sure that she was all right or to just ask where she was.

She palmed her entire face in her hands. Thinking about it he had sold her after all so of course he had no concerns for her. She wanted to kill him and be done with them but she knew that at her very core she would die of guilt after doing that.

She just wanted to do something, something bad to him.

"If you continue to grip it, the glass will break in your hands. I would hate to have a pretty lady bleed all over me."

She frowned and turned to look at who it was. Looking him up and down with the shrews eyes like she had seen her mother do to people a thousand times she narrowed her eyes at him and said, "What do you want?"

He smiled. "Why are you angry?"

"Why are you so intrusive?" She spat back. The alcohol was only getting into the system and taking over because a sober Evelyn would never have the guts to be this mannerless.

He chuckled and took a seat next to her on the stool at the bar table. That only annoyed Evelyn further because she knew that he was not going away now.

"Come on," the guy nudged, "tell me what happened. I have an endless sister and I've heard stories about boy troubles. Try me."

She looked at him sceptically. Not believing a single word that came out of his mouth because all she knew he could have been someone sent by her father to know what had really happened to her.

Minutes later she was balling her eyes out in front of him. "He sold me! Me!" She pointed to herself and he nodded in understanding.

"That was a shity move." He shook his head looking slightly disgusted by the fact and more angry about it. "What did you do about it?"

"Me?" She frowned and then powdered. Looking over to him she shook her head, "Nothing. I did not do anything. I think my father will do something to him."

"what?" He scoffed, "No, no, no, you do something about it Evelyn. He did it to you, not to your father. Your father can have fun later but now it's your turn." He pointed his finger at her.

She blinked twice to see clearly and thought about it. Yes, Rome had troubled her more than he had troubled her father. He was the one that had driven her away from her family without any reason and he had completely destroyed her self-confidence at one point of time.

She nodded slowly as a slow smile came to her face as she thought about it all. "I think I know what to do. Do you have a car?"

Marcello smiled as he fished out his car keys and showed it to her. "Got a Ferrari, baby. Let's go."

She reached the luxurious apartments that she now wondered how Rome could afford without a job. But no worries because he was soon to be evicted by the landlord.

She knew the numbers by heart and knew that her ex boyfriend was going to be stupid enough to not change them. For him, she was never coming back.

"Let's go," she grinned and jutted in the passcode on the electric lock and within moments the door opened and she was greeted by the same house but dirtier. The man had not bothered to clean the house that she had maintained for the last two years!

"What's first?" He chapped in from behind her and rubbed his hands together with their massive green on his face.

"He has a wine cellar upstairs. I'll take the bedroom, you go there!"  She shrieked and ran into the bedroom.

First things first she took out all of his expensive suits and shirts and told them about. If that was not enough then she made sure to take his dirty shoes that he never bothered to wash and imprint everything on them.

She did not even leave his shoes alone but remembered to take every cloth off her, especially shoes.

As she was ready to walk out of the room her eyes fell onto the 50 inch massive TV that he had bought for himself along with the play stations.

Well, well, well.

She smashed the PlayStation with a baseball bat in her hand. Then came the television and then another set of games along with its consoles. This time she was being merciless and ruthless and she did not think twice. The breaking of bottles could be heard from upstairs and that Marcello was surely having fun.

Shillong cafe hand work. Destroyed beddings and a broken bed back along with shattered TV screens and playstations. His wardrobe was turned upside down and there was no suitable cloth for him to wear.

Now she waited for the message for stop going to the electric machine that had allowed them to enter inside the house she clicked on messages.

"Mr. Carlo, refrain from making such noises in the night. If I hear one more and have one more complaint from any resident in the building I will have you evicted immediately in the morning."

She grinned, score!

" Done?" He came with a bottle of wine in his hands. "I wonder how this asshole got so many expensive wines in his collection. I am going to take some home and give it to my father."

"Be generous," she allowed him even though he had his arms filled with bottles.

She looked at the music station, a massive one. Rome had been obsessed with gadgets and materialism so much so that he always bought things that would be too big for what they needed. But this one only worked in her favour because this one good turn on music and turn it off along according to the time set for it.

She set one of three in the morning and this one was in k-pop. So not only that but it was not going to be a full song, a whole playlist of hers.

And Rome hated k-pop.

"Well done." Marcello had a shit it eating grin on his face, "Let's get wasted!" Here before marching out of the house. Evelyn giggled and ran behind him. The night has barely begun.
