Chapter: 6 Elders

The elders soon standing in front of us and then Grazedow walked in front of them and said "These six elders are in charge of a division or operation that supports the survival of the our tribe and you guys will get to join one of these division if given the option. I will introduce you scum to these elders so remember their names or else." Grazedow pointed to the elder with the bow and leather armor "this is elder Baz he is in charge of our Hunting and collecting food for our tribe it is not to say we would starve without him, but he makes getting food a lot easier." He then pointed to the elder with the staff "this is elder Motaz he is in charge of our magic force and relics we use to crush our enemies. Now I'm not saying using a sword or axe to kill you enemy isn't good enough but freezing and burning your enemy is just as good."

Grazedow pointed to an elder with full plate armor and had a great sword on his back "this is elder Jarrt and he is a captain in our army and is in charge of our vanguard unit, and even though his unit as the highest death rate of soldiers they are also the ones who get the most 'opportunities'." Grazedow pointed to the other elder who was wearing full plate armor but this one had a huge shield on his back and a mace and sword on his hip "this is elder Sid he is the guard captain of our tribe and his unit is meant to make sure that everyone follows the laws that the chief has set for this tribe." Grazedow pointed to the last elder who was dressed in a rode with a bunch of accessories on it "this is elder Kelatz he is our shaman who teaches those who have the talent to be a shaman and lets just say you don't want to piss off a powerful shaman."

Grazedow pointed to the last elder who just wore black pants and had a leather strap that held a huge pick axe on his back "this is elder Staco he is in charge of our tribe mining operations and how we expand our tribe though the mountains. He also deals with those that break our laws and our prisoners of war so don't get on his bad side. Now I introduce you guys to them they will now choose form all of you to select which of you young blood they want to work for them." After he said that Grazedow moved and then the elders started to observe us then elder Motaz said "I want each of you to think of the word status and then you will see a bunch of information now I want you to check you INT and any who has an INT of 10 or over come to me" elder Baz said "Those that have DEX of 10 or over come to me."

Elder Kelatz look at us and asked "in the information you all are looking at their should be a section that says passive abilities and any of you that have the skill [dusk eye] come to me." [dusk eye] what was that whatever it was I don't have it so guess I can't be a shaman, but I could join the magic force if I want to. "Those who have a STR of 5 or higher come to me" elder Jarrt said to us and elder Sid said "those that have a VIT of 10 or higher come to me", and elder Staco said "if any of you don't meet with the standards the other elder said you can come to me." After elder Staco said that a bunch of goblins started to move to the elders and now their were only a few of us that didn't choose an elder to go to. Elder Jarrt than said "if any of have a an ability or skill you can't understand come to me"

I do have an ability I don't understand in fact I have two, but should I go to elder Jarrt or elder Motaz. If I go to Motaz I would get to be a wizard most likely but I don't know how magic works in this world. There is so many different variations of how magic works in different worlds some are easy, some are hard, and some makes magic seem like it's nothing more than a burden to have. I could join the vanguard unit even though it seems like I would have a high chance of losing me life Grazedow did mention that it's the job that has the most 'opportunities'. I know that this would mean going to a job with high risk and high reward but I have nothing and I saw how they just threw the goblins that died during the branding into a cart with a second thought or care, so if I'm to survive in this world I have to takes some risk.
