Chapter 4

Rose woke up feeling strange but she tries to think nothing of it but then thinks about the kid. "Shouldn't ghosts normally be in heaven or hell?" She bonked herself on the head. " No, that only happens in shows and books." She went to the backyard garden which was huge and full of flowers. There were a few weathered statues that were half gone. She looked at the rose bushes and noticed something very out-of-place about them -- they aren't supposed to bloom around this time of the year.

She couldn't think of any explanation for why they would bloom now. Suddenly, the smell of pancakes drifted outside from the house. She ran into the kitchen and saw Kai finishing up some blueberry pancakes. He looked at her and chuckles "Someone sure has a great sense of smell."

She smiles happily and grabs her plate of pancakes, running outside and sitting at the bench under a tree. "Yum!" She happily grabs her fork, piercing the pancakes and putting it to her opened mouth "Ahh~"

"Nuuu!"

Rose gasped and turned to her right, making eye contact with Ichigo. " Uhh h-hey Ichi. " She smiles awkwardly.

He says nothing and just stares at her. She opens her mouth again, getting ready to eat the pancake on the fork. "Ahh~"

"Nu!" He interrupted.

She looks back it him. "What is it little kid?"

He frowns, unintentionally being cute yet creepy and points to her pancakes. "Gimme some."

"I'm sorry but some things are just too good to share. " Rose says and puts the pancake in hee mouth.

" Soo good~" She chews it.

Ichigo continues staring at her with the cutest mean face ever. She looks back at him. "You can stare, but I'm not sharing. "

Ichigo sticks out his tongue. "Fine!" He swiped her plate and started running into the mansion.

"You little---!" She chases after him.

Kai looks at her running and yelling at mid air. "What the heck...."

After six minutes ago of running Rose lost her breath and lost track of Ichigo. "I'm no match for a ghost child apparantly..." She leans against a door that appears to be locked from the inside and rests. She feels her back leaning further back then looks back. The door was slowly opening. "Huh?"
