Battle

I still didn't understand what Dumby was saying, but I had other matters to care about. Right now there was a giant serpent god that had it's fangs stuck inside my neck and was biting harder and harder as he was trying to behead me.

I mentally smiled and said, Dumby, ready for the most tragic, dramatic, sad and epic death of all time?! [Hell yeah I am, show them how mighty you are! I already knows what happens and it's so awesome and epic that you readers will dream of it tonight and everytime you will think of it you will smirk!]

I ignored the last part of what he said as I could not understand what he was saying and instead listened as Kukulkan talked" You really are an idiot, to sacrifice yourself for this city, for those fellow humans of yours when you could have survived that! I will just go kill them after I finish you off."

[If you readers are confused about how Kukulkan can talk when he has his fangs deep inside Mason's neck, here's the explanation. You see everytime he talks he doesn't really uses his mouth. After all a serpent doesn't posses the necessary organs to speak human language. What he does is projecting sound waves from any part of his body using energy and thus make it look like he talks. That's why he can't totally talk without moving his mouth at all.

Oh and while I'm at it and talking to you people, if you worry about me stealing Mason the MC's place and appear too often, don't worry. I appear a lot right now because I am a new character added inside this universe, but in the future I won't talk so much.]

I decided to ignore him again and focused back on the fight. Oh my dear serpent god, you really want people to worship and love me, don't you. I smiled and took this heavenly sent occasion. I grabbed his jaw and slowly began pulling out the fangs in my neck.

Well I say I but in fact it is a puppet. Yes, a puppet. Just before the beam of energy hit me I had teleported my real self to my room in my house, and left a strand of consciousness into this body. Inside my room I had almost no power left, everything was left in the puppet.

I could still control the puppet as if I was inside it, only that I won't feel the pain. It was pretty useful, but splitting my mind was very hurtful so I won't do it again. [Return to the fight idiot!]

Once the fangs were out I mightily roared" I WON'T DIE FOR NOTHING! THEY WILL LIVE!" As I finished I pulled hard with both hands and ripped Kukulkan into two, killing him in the process.

I had ripped him from the mouth to the end of his tail, making it very bloody. Well ripping people with bare hands is always bloody but you get what I mean… [Stop explaining things, you are taking epicness away!]

Hum yes you're right Dumby, sorry. I turned to face the sky and roared at it, making the atmosphere tremble. Yeah some cool points earned right there. But I wasn't finished, the most difficult part is coming now.

As the fangs had gotten out of the neck of the puppet, false blood that had replaced my real blood began to spray out endlessly, falling to the ground and slowly creating a new forest.

As my puppet was dying, the black suit on it began to change colors, turning into a brown, green color. I made the puppet adopt one of the coolest dying posture I ever saw, Whitebeard's in One Piece, and slowly my puppet began transforming into a thousand meters tall tree.

Yeah, that was the most difficult part. Once it finished transforming into a tree, the forest forming in the Arizona desert began growing like crazy. Soon the entire desert where there was no life became a place full of life, a new forest with the biggest tree in the world.

But it didn't stop there. After all, I had used almost no power at all to kill Kukulkan, so I had used enough power to destroy the planet on this forest, so it had to be special. Well it is, and a lot. First there is the main tree, the biggest one.

It had no leaves on it, just a giant wooden statue of Night Walker, [Narcissist!] and that was unbreakable. So there was no risk of it falling and destroying a lot things with it. But it isn't the most interesting thing.

This tree is what connects every tree inside this forest, and created a synergy behind them all and itself. This in turn created a wonderful effect. None of the tree can be destroyed either, they can't be cut.

They are also super powerful, and became the new lung of the earth. From now on the entire pollution, CO2 and every harmful substance in Earth's atmosphere will be suck by those trees, and be transformed into healthy air.

So now even if all the trees in the world are cut the planet won't have to worry about breathing. Another useful thing the forest is doing is repairing the atmosphere, that was pierced before.

But it doesn't end here. This tree will absorb the energy present in space, lots and lots of it, and transform it. It will help the entire Earth into getting more minerals, and a lot of other things good for Earth but I won't spend all day saying them all when no ones listen to me.

[I do.] You don't count Dumby. So the last awesome thing about the forest is the presence of a lake surrounding the foot of the wooden statue. Yes, wooden statue, tree, it's the same, just no leaves. So like I said a big lake is surrounding the foot of the tree.

The water in it is inexhaustible, some of the energy taken into space by the tree is given to the lake to create more water, so it can't be drained. As for the water it is pure, can be drunk, washes itself at every moment so it's always clean and of a light blue, it is ten meters deep but it is breathable water.

A wonderful thing I made, right? Creating life, and all. I really am proud of it, this is really an act of god… Wait a minute, people aren't gonna create a religion about me, right? Dumby! Dumby!

[Yes they will, it is evident.] I frowned and used the remaining consciousness I had in the tree to carve something in it: I am no God, I am but a human.

That was quite straightforward, at least now they won't begin a religion on me. It would be weird. Really weird.

This had made me realize something, I could somewhat control the trees here to do simple things. But I only had some power left in the trees so the number of things I can do is limited. Well first I carved with my mind on some trees the name of this forest: The Protector's Forest.

[Still a narcissist I see.] I ignored him and used what was left of the power to carve a final message on the giant wooden statue: To those who seeks help, it shall be provided. But to those who shall harm, they will find themselves stopped.

This message had a meaning. I did not take my entire consciousness back, I had left a very little amount of it in the forest, it had no effect on me, it recovered instantly on me. But from now on if someone tries to harm another life form in this forest, my strand of consciousness will judge the situation and act or not.

Those trees, although unbreakable, can only restrain normal humans, but it is enough. I was now finished with the forest.

I was now in my bed, facing the ceiling. Today had been an exhausting day. I got my phone out and first called my parents. I asked them if they were okay and did the same with all my friends, even if I already knew they were.

Once I was done I asked in my head: Dumby, why did you appear in my head? [At first I was the embodiment of your omnipotence, but then I stayed a little longer, after you lost it I mean, because of your psychological state.]

What?! Dummy sighed[You did become crazy you know, it's only that you wiped it out of your memory. But before that you convinced your subconscious to wish to have me back. In reality whatever you did I would stay in your mind.]

I frowned. Why did I become crazy? [The loss of power. You became omnipotent, but only to later return to a powerless state. You know, everyone enjoys having power, every living being in the universe. So to suddenly being deprived of them, that would make anyone go crazy. That craziness of yours manifested in me. You are a schizophrenic, only that the other voice is intelligent.]

This time I was shocked. I am a crazy man? Me? Wow… Just wow… It isn't your everyday news. So basically if I am not screaming like a madman and losing my mind right now it is because of Dumby's existence? [You got it.]

Well I won't talk of it ever again. Returning to the real world, I was exhausted. Now that I didn't have my powers anymore, I now had to sleep like any other human. I have to LIVE like any other human. [Yes and for the next month you will not be able to regain your powers, they are on a cool down, you've overdone it with the forest.]

It doesn't matter, I'm happy of having made that forest. And it was quite difficult indeed. [You were lucky this time. If that Time gem didn't show you numerous versions of the future, you wouldn't have been able to do that.]

Yeah you're right, in one of the visions I saw myself using my power only to use the omnipotence. If not for that vision that showed how to make the tree without using much energy, I wouldn't have been able to make that tree.

[You're right, the most difficult was that energy conversion thing, creating a mechanism takes way less energy than just wishing for a tree that can do what it does.] The best is that this is going to help me in the future, first with that mechanism I built in the tree I have advanced by leaps and bound on the miniature sun.

But even more importantly it showed me that the wisest way to use my powers isn't to just wish for something, I need to want to make some parts and then assemble them. Like if I want to create a fridge, I can use my power to completely create one in the blink of an eye, but the most cost efficient way is to will for the parts to appear, and then assemble it by myself using my hands or telekinesis through my will.

[Your power of will is really too OP, or in the future at least.] Right, but at the beginning it won't be that good, it's awesomeness is into the fact it gets stronger as time pass. For the first few years maybe it will be difficult to fight as a hero, but after a certain threshold, defeating others will only ask me to use my mind.
