Knowing about Yukimura

"Nee, Yuki, do you want to watch the match of my team?" Seiichi asked his roommate, who is busy watering the planted daisy while his rikkai jacket is on her shoulders.

"Ehh? They are on TV?" she turned around to look at him, who is now setting up the television.

"Ahh. It seems that it is already near the preliminaries in Kantou Tai Kai."

Yuki finished tending her plant and went to sit on the bed of Seiichi since it is the nearest to the television.

"Hai" and he handed a slice of chocolate cake to her, which she happily took and quickly took a bite.

The television showed a yellow jersey team and a gray one.

"Who is their opponent?" she asked while munching on another bite.

Seiichi looked for a moment. "Hyottei Gakuen."

"Are they strong?"

"Hmm, maybe. But I guess you can easily play with them" he answered and pats her head.

They both watched the games in silence, analyzing the matches.

"Sanada-san is the vice-captain, right?" she suddenly asked. Seiichi nodded and looked at her. "Why did you suddenly ask?"

She shook her head. "I wonder how they are feeling without their buchou with them… I think they must feel lonely"

Seiichi smiled. "I don't think Akaya wants me to return because their training is more intense with me in charge"

"Ohh. So you are a strict captain"

"That's what they told me. But I don't think I'm not that strict". And he laughed.

She suddenly remained silent and looked down. "Uhm, if you don't mind me asking, why are you here in the hospital?"

Silence overwhelmed them for a few seconds. "The doctors haven't given me any results yet, but they told me that it is severe".

She remained looking down. "Ahhh. Gomen about that…"

He shook his head. "It's okay. I know you have it worse"

"Oh, so you knew." she chuckled but pain is hinted on it.

"That's why I'm surprised you are good at tennis" he complimented.

"That's the only sport I've been playing since I was a kid." she replied while smiling to herself.

Seiichi saw how she must have really loved tennis. "Since Sanada's match hasn't started yet, should we go to the court and have a match ourselves?"

She suddenly brightened up. "Hontou?"

After a few rallies, Seiichi was left lying down on the court.

"Daijoubou?" she asked worriedly, looking down to him.

He nodded while panting for air. "It's been a week since our last play and my body seemed to be slowing down"

She frowned. "Gomene… For forcing you…".

"It's okay. It's actually a good exercise for me" he pinched her cheeks. "Don't look so sad. It's not your fault".

She tried to force a smile.

"I'm actually surprised that you have been wearing that jacket while playing and yet, it didn't came off"

"I'm not going to let it fall off." she gently replied and looked at the jacket. Seiichi noticed it and smiled at her.

"Come on. Let's go back. It must be Sanada's match already" he stood up and offered his hand to help her stand as well.
