The start of the novel is good but I hope you do continue because I don’t want to invest my tune and then you stop halfway threw. I'm liking it so far. it seems to be a pretty good story. whether or not you make this into a harem is up to you, but I recommend that you do add a bit of romance because that is already portrayed in the comics.

I find this novel slightly interesting yet slightly cringy as there is a bit too much teenage angst for my liking. However what strikes me as interesting, and I don't know if the author intended it or not, is that the main character was in the military and almost seems to have a form of PTSD from his time there. If it's intentional my hat is off to the author and if not I suggest playing it that way and when you introduce the harem aspect you want you use the girls as a grounding/healing element for the MC to make him more normal.
