Escape and Disposal - Part 4

A few minutes later...

"Sir Carl, Irene said, 'She will meet with you now,'" Isaac told Carl before remembering Ms. Irene wanted a pack of sugar cookies, "Oh, and do not forget to bring a pack of cookies for the princess."

"Thanks, kid, for the heads up," Carl replied with a sigh of relief at the bullet he narrowly dodged there as he turned around and randomly grabbed a pack of cookies from the pantry.

"You're welcome, sir." Isaac smiled before quickly heading to his room as Carl teleported upstairs.

Zap. Knock.

"Enter Soldier 1234." Someone from behind the door said as Carl rolled his eyes in annoyance, just as the door opened with a click.

"So, what's so important that it required me to interrupt my cultivation, Soldier 1234 aka [Silent Viper]?" A woman wearing a white floral dress and a silver and gold tainted Venetian mask asked as she sipped tea.

While one of her shadow guards took the time to merge with Carl's shadow, in case he went rogue and sought to harm the princess.

"Sorry for the disturbance Your Highness, however, I think I found the person you were looking for, and here are the cookies you asked for," Carl stated as he took a pack of chocolate chip cookies and a couple of photos from his storage ring.

Which he handed over to the guard who opened the door earlier and proceeded to inspect them briefly, before giving them to the princess after giving her a nod.

"Hmm, good job soldier 1234, however, while excellent do you know where the person, I'm looking for is currently?" The princess asked curiously as she took off her mask, revealing the oval face hidden underneath, and her two sapphire eyes with a smile that screamed crazy.

"For the most part, yes, however, there's a slight problem, Your Highness," Carl said with a troubled smile.

"That's fine, Carl for as long as we know where he is that is all that matters," The princess replied easing the anxious heart of Carl, 'So the wheels of Fate have already begun to spin, huh? Just what will be the outcome this time when they finally reunite?'

She thought with a smile as she gazed fondly at the burning photo in her hand while munching on a cookie with the curiosity of a kid.

"Shall I ready the troops, Your Highness?" A cloaked figure asked as they appeared behind the princess from her shadow.

"Yes, Arthur, and do take Carl with you for he will be of much assistance, and do please hurry for time isn't on our side. And I would not want our guest to be gone before we even arrived," The princess said mysteriously as she finished her cookie and prepared for war as this was bound to be a sleepless night.

Sometime later…

After swiftly eliminating the annoying insects that tried to stop them from approaching the barrier, which was located behind a barricade of troops and police officers near the edge of the outer ring.

"So, this is where they're keeping you hostage, huh?" The princess muttered as she inspected the barrier that hindered them from meeting the elusive Conqueror of Origin.

"Is something the matter, Your Highness?" One of her guards asked as they stood beside her.

"No, Misera everything is going just as I planned, so tell the troops to get ready. Oh, and do take a step back as I would not want our guest to be displeased by your wretched appearance," The princess said before kneeling and clasping her hands as if she were about to pray, resulting in the sky of the outer ring being engulfed in thunderclouds as a violent wind swept through the area.

'My Lord just what type of little monster are you nurturing, who even after failing to break through to Divine Lord can still command such power?' Misera wondered as she took ten steps back and watched in amazement as the princess began to chant an ancient spell.

Completely disregarding what the princess said earlier, due to fear of the consequences that would follow if she mentioned the matter.

"O Lord of the High Heavens, Master of the Elements, and King of Spirits! Grant thy humble servant a meager of thy power! May it cause the world to tremble at thy might as the Firmament collapses and all returns to dust! Please O Lord cast down thy power and destroy the obstacle before me! Amen!" She shouted with zeal and passion as she shifted her hands ever so slightly to make a cross, before returning them to their previous position.

"Hmm, well I did my part, hopefully, my Lord isn't still mad at me, or else this would just be pointless," The princess muttered with an inkling of hope that what she said would not come true as she stood up and dusted off her hands.

Just as a bolt of violent lighting fell from the Heavens and struck the barrier destroying it in the process.

'Yes, I'm still Father's favorite, Hehe,' She smiled beautifully as she jumped like a kid who won the world, ignoring the chaos she caused brought by her actions.

Along with the fear evident in the guards who did not even have time to warn their superiors of what was going on, as one lightning bolt after another swiftly dwindled their numbers.

"Charge! What are you all gawking at? Don't you see that we are under attack and now isn't the time to be standing all fools in the middle of a street?!" Someone shouted igniting the fighting spirit within the hearts of the remaining guards before everything they worked hard for and endured over these years to reach this point became nothing.

"Princess, are you sure about this for once it starts there's no going back, and with that our opportunity to foster a relationship with Dreamworld?" Bentley, the advisor, and butler of the princess asked worriedly as he surveyed the battle at hand.

"Yes, now stop acting like a scared cat and follow me to where our guests are waiting for us," The princess said as she and her butler began their walk to Beyond Starlight.
