Citizenship to Feral City

Silver arrived back in the game. Without any quest's to complete he walked towards the library to see if he could receive his reward, and complete some research. After arriving at the library he was welcomed by the same Librarian as yesterday, but this time there was also an old man.

Level: ???

The old man winced obviously noticing being scanned. Silver immediately corrected his mistake, "I apologize for my errors, I am currently lacking some etiquette."

The old man obviously did not mind, "No problem, many young adventurers have made similar mistakes in the past. Although I do not mind, I would be careful while scanning those who have greater strength than you."

"Thank you for your understanding, I appreciate the knowledge bestowed." Silver bowed slightly.

"No need for formalities, I have come to present a small reward. Although you have just arrived, you have already completed a great deed for the City. There are so many pests in the city, to many to count, there is no way to deal with them all. We need more warriors like you in the city. I would like to offer you Citizenship to Feral City.

"I would be grateful to become a Citizen of the great city of Feral!"

Title: Feral Citizen gain the perks of a Citizen of Feral City!

- A discount of 10% at all Stores in Feral City.

- Ability to purchase property in the City.

- Right to hold office in Feral City

- Free entrance into public buildings; Library, Auction House, Training Grounds, and City Hall.

This Title would assist Silver in his future plans. After accepting the title the old man quickly left.

The librarian was next to speak. "Although the Elder has given you an award from the city, The library would like to offer you a reward of our own." She brought Silver to a wing deep within the library. The librarian brought Silver to a single shelf with only fifteen books on it.

"You can choose a single book from this section, these skills should be of great help to you."

Viewing the books all of them were Assassin skills skill books, three of them matched skills that he already had, leaving a dozen options remaining.

He viewed the dozen remaining options before making a decision,

Shadow Energy, Passive Skill, A powerful energy surrounds the user increasing their power.

- +15 Health

- +5 Attack

- +5 Defense

- +5 Stamina

- 5 Movement Speed

- .05 Attack speed

- Absorb the energy of worthy foes slain, the more killed the greater the energy becomes. (Upgraded at 1,000 killed.)

- Becomes an energy source equal to the number of worthy opponents killed (0/5000)

The buff was already equal to an epic item in terms of total stats, but what was even more terrifying was the capability of its upgrading, and it is able to be used as energy for future skills.

It was likely that the skill would become relatively common once class promotion occurred, but to get a head start on the skill could give Silver a lead that could never be closed.

Silver then decided to do some research at the library to gain a better understanding of the game. First, he researched monster ranks.

Monsters were categorized into eight different categories:

Normal, Elite, Boss, Lord, Prince, King, Emperor, God. The strongest known monsters were the Dragons who controlled the West. The Dragon who controlled the continent was believed to be a peak Emperor Rank Monster.

Beings which held classes, such as Human, Elves, Dwarves, Dragonborn, and a few other intelligent races were categorized by their class. All Classes are broke up into seven different categories.

Requirements, Level 1-10: Novice Assassin

Requirements, Level 10-20: Assassin

Requirements, Level 20-39: + Test: Skilled Assassin or Tier 1 Assassin

Requirements, Level 40-59: + Test: Expert Assassin or Tier 2 Assassin

Requirements, Level 60-79 + Test: Master Assassin or Tier 3 Assassin

Requirements, Level 80-99 + Test: Grand Master Assassin or Tier 4 Assassin

Requirements, Level 100 + Test: Godly Assassin or Tier 5 Assassin

Although there were many NPCs that have reached the max level 100 not a single one has been able to be promoted into Tier five!

Finally Silver researched items, they were categorized as White (common), Green (Uncommon), Blue (Rare), Purple (Epic), Orange (Fragmented Legendary), Red (Legendary), ??? (Godly)

After gathering the information he left the library. Silver was unsure of what to do next. He still had a journal of the dead nobles evil deeds, but currently, he was unsure what to do with this.

Then he saw a familiar looking face in the same alley he caught the thief.

He walked over "Hello Elder." the man in front of Silver was the same who gave him the , who tested him at the Novice Village.

"I see you've been busy since entering the City. Meeting with an Earl, followed up by killing a Baron, escaping a Viscount, and finally destroying a street gang resulting in the fastest Citizenship that I've ever seen. Yet it seems that you are looking for another quest. A man who never rests it seems."

Silver slightly shocked that he knew of everything that he had done in the city. Still, he spoke causally "If there is anything that I can help with, I truly am in need of tasks at the moment."

"Of course the guild always has tasks, What do you desire to kill, commoners, nobles, or maybe a monster?"

Silver thought for a moment, with the new skill he had to kill many beings who were similar in levels. Monsters would be much easier to kill en masse so he told the Elder "I would prefer to kill monsters at the moment. I have yet to kill a single one since entering the City."

Without saying a word the Elder handed a scroll to Silver, before vanishing without a trace.

Silver opened the scroll

Silver thought for a moment and decided that it should be possible to defeat a boss monster solo now. "I accept."

A waypoint appeared on the map far north of the city. Silver began to make his way towards the waypoint. It took an entire hour to reach the waypoint. It seems that a mount would be of great importance to cut down on travel time. The area was quite desolate with only a few farmhouses. The waypoint was located inside a small mountain cave.

Silver who was unable to see in the dark lit a torch, and began making his way into the cave. After only a few minutes Silver found his first few foes.

Level 13

HP: 600

Attack: 40

Defense: 50

Attack Speed: .8

Skills: Bash, Power Grip

Silver after viewing the stats of the Gnoll gained confidence in easily completing the task. There were around a dozen of such Gnolls, but with their low attack, and speed Silver could easily deal with them. Choosing not to use a single skill he defeated all dozen Gnolls without tanking a single strike.

Silver then walked further into the cave slaughtering all Gnolls in his path.

After killing around one hundred Gnolls Silver-spotted three Gnolls who were much Larger in size. The leader was even wearing human knight armor and had a steel battle ax.

Elite Level 14

HP: 1200

Attack: 50

Defense: 90

Skills: Bash, Power Grip, Smash

Boss Level 15

Silver's eyes sharpened, although still confident, with such high defense, and Health values this would truly take awhile. Not feeling deterred Silver ran up to one of the two Elite Gnolls beginning the battle!
