Confrontation

Ryo had the girl under pressure, and you could see on her face that she was nervous to talk to him. But the pressure was not something she was unable to handle, so she continued speaking with Ryo.

"My lord, There is currently a large orc army marching through the Jura forest, and i am here to ask for assistance in destroying them." The woman was on her knees and she spoke with her head down, but she had a prideful voice.

"First of all, why are you calling me lord? not that i have anything against it, but i don't think we've met before. And second, why do you think i am able to do what you ask of me?" Ryo hit the girl with a few quick questions, which she answered immediately.

"My lord, i speak from a place of great respect. I have an ability that let's me analyze someone strength, and you hold power that i have never seen in my life. Because of that i feel it is only right i call you by a proper title." The girl answered swiftly and with confidence. It worked quite well as it stroked Ryo's ego when she spoke about his great power.

"I see that we have someone here who knows what's up. ha ha, i will certainly help you girl. As a matter of fact, i had already planned to take care of them. I have been aware of their movements for a few days now. I just happened to run into a few others that were feeling from the same enemy as you." Ryo had a wide smile on his face now. he felt great when he saw her subservient attitude.

"Thank you, my lord! The orc army is at least a few thousand strong so i suggest we move as quickly as possible before another village is destroyed by them." She clenched her fist when she said that last part. Ryo noticed her behavior and aura changing to something a lot more bloodthirsty then she had before.

"Wait, wait, before we start going out exterminating orcs, tell me about yourself. What's you name, girl?" Ryo wanted to know this girl a little better, since he was thinking of recruiting her. He needed someone who could act like a right hand to him. Someone with undying loyalty and great strength, and maybe this girl was fit for that position.

"I have not been named. In my village we had only 3 named individuals." The girls blood thirst got even thicker the more she spoke about her village.

"No name? Does human also need to be named like monsters?" Ryo knew of monsters naming culture, but he has weak knowledge of the human society. "system, scan the girl" he gave the system a quick command. He always forgets he have the system for these kind of things. (Author, stop forgetting)

"I am sorry, my lord, but you have the wrong impression of me." The woman lowered her head, and immediately her looks changed from human to the classic elf Ryo remembered from his past life. She had long ears pointing outwards and she was so beautiful that Ryo for just a second was unable to think straight. (I'm funny)

"Elves?! Truly as beautiful as the rumors say. Well, it's nice to meet ya, no name." Ryo regained him calm demeanor and just appreciated the raw beauty of the girl.

"bea.. beautiful!!? N-Nice t-to meet you to, my lord!" She lost her cool and her blood thirst disappeared and was replaced by a shy and apprehensive aura, in her village, her look was the norm, so she was never treated like this among her people. She didn't know how to respond to it.

"Indeed! Very beautiful, but that doesn't matter at the moment. I want to ask you something."

"Yes, my lord! Ask anything!" She went back to her cold exterior look almost immediately when Ryo switched the subject.

"if we succeed in defeating the orc army, what will you do then?" Ryo really wanted her as a subordinate now, because she was an elf. He though she looked super cool and beautiful, and whom wouldn't want that in a subordinate.

"I-i don't know, i haven't planned for anything other then their defeat the last weeks or so. I don't know life outside of my village. I have only explored the Jura forest when i was hunting with father, so i don't know life outside of this forest." You could see and feel the sadness spreading with each word she spoke. Ryo had to be an idiot at this point to not understand that her parents are most likely dead, or missing. Ryo theorized that her entire village had been destroyed in an attack made by the orcs.

"I see, then how would you like to come and join my village after this. I will give you a place at my side, and i will protect you for as long as i live. You will have food, housing and good caring people around you. I believe those are all things you are searching for." Ryo didn't consider himself a good person, hell, his goal is to conquer the world. Ryo was far from truly evil and cold-hearted so he understood what the girl needed, and offered himself to be just what she wanted and needed right now.

"M-me? you want m-me in your v-village? why?" Tears started to slowly show in her eyes. She didn't want to cry, but all the things Ryo said just reminded her about the past couple weeks, and how lost she felt these days. Her feeling starting leaking out involuntarily .

"of course, who wouldn't want someone like you. You have decent strength, you are beautiful and on top of all that you are a freaking elf. Did i mention yet, i have longed to meet one of you guys. I would love to have you join and live in my village." Ryo gave a smile to the woman, and put a hand on her shoulder, and helped her up form her kneeling position.

"No, need to answer now. Let's go take care of these orcs before they destroy any more of my forest." Ryo took away his hand and wiped the tears that had fallen from her chin.

"Crap, that felt so awkward, why did i just go and touch her chin!!" Ryo panicked slightly because he had done it without realizing how weird it might have felt to the woman, who's face he just touched for barely no reason.

"Y-ye, let's go. Thank you for the kind words, my lord!" She bowed down again, to which Ryo just sighed.

"Don't go kneeling down like that all the time. It becomes very difficult to keep a conversation going, with you, if i have to stare at the back of your head the whole time. Understood?" Ryo took on a commanding tone with her this time.

"Yes, of course! But i can't do that! I feel i can't stand on equal ground with you. It feels right to kneel when talking to you, my lord, so please allow me to continue doing that." She refused to give in and kept kneeling in front of him.

"How bad is my luck!? First i get that flexing weirdo, Rigurdo, and now i have an elf obsessed with kneeling. *sigh*"

"Well, fine i'll allow it, i guess, but for now we have one more thing to take care of." Ryo shook his head and refocused on the last issue regarding the elf.

"What would that be, my lord?"

"Your name!"

"I-i don't have a name, my lord? so what are you talking about?" She didn't know much about the process of naming someone. She had only met three named people, and she was taught that most people of her village had no names, and would never get one either.

"Exactly! You have no name, and this needs to be fixed. I refuse to have a possible future subordinate that i have to "you" so i will grant you a name. You will probably change in quite a few ways when you receive a name so be prepared for that.

"W-WAIT! i-i am n-not worthy to be n-n-named! Please rethink this, my lord! I am just a stranger, so there is no need to name me." She started to panic when she realized what was about to occur.

"No! saying "you" all the time will be too bothersome, so naming you is just the obvious thing to do. You have no say in this girl. Accept it and stand by my side forever. Or, accept it and walk away after our business is done. The choices is entirely yours." Ryo placed his hand on her head, as she was still kneeling, this felt most natural.

"Rose! Take this name and wear it with pride going forward." Ryo spoke calmly but his voice exploded with a domineering pressure that bore down on the surrounding.

The now, named elf, Rose, looked up with a small waterfall running down her face. She silently mouthed some words before her whole body shone with a bright yellow light.

A few minutes later, the light died down and Rose got up from her kneeling position and her body now displaying it's new beauty for all to see.

She had grown at least 10 cm, and her long red hair swaying in the wind. It looked like a beautiful red flame all the way down her back. her facial featured hadn't changed much, but she had gotten a more mature womanly look now. Her body previously looked very petite, but now as she had grown, her muscles had as well and they were now well defined. The only problem right now was that because she had grown so drastically, her clothes were not ripped all over the place, exposing skin on multiple places.

"eh, Rose, your clothes, they are destroyed." Ryo calmly pointed out, but he was not feeling any sort of embarrassment. He simply stared on her body and admiring it's new beauty.

"AH! She covered the important places with her hands, and gave Ryo a small smile, while she looked incredibly shy.

"Ahem, my lord, if you wouldn't mind, could you run to the city and get some new clothes for me. I can't fight properly in this." She gave Ryo a pleading look.

"Sure you can! Everyone will love it, if you do!" Ryo gave rose a thumbs up with a serious look on his face.

He quickly leaned his head to the side to dodge a small stone that Rose threw at him.

"Ha ha, fine, i will get something for ya. Give me an hour or so" He stopped teasing her and simply started his journey towards the nearest clothing store.

"My lord, please be safe!" Rose said softly and wiped a small tear away from her face.
