Deceiving the masses, receiving the few.

The three people, Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall and Hagrid were all huddled around the two twins looking at them intently, wondering what their next course of action would be.

"Professor Dumbledore, if I may ask, where exactly are they suppose to go now?" - P. McGonagall

Dumbledore was staring at the twins whilst thinking about what to do,

"If I remember correctly, the mother, Lily should have some family that live close by with a child also... perhaps it would be wise to give them custody of the two boys..?" - Dumbledore

"I'm not so sure if that's too good of an idea Professor Dumbledore" - P. McGonagall

"Oho, why is that so?" - Dumbledore

"Well, you see.. they're both muggles whereas Harry and Philip are practically destined to be Wizards, I don't think it'd be good to keep them away from the Wizard world for 10 years." -P. McGonagall

"I can second that, Professor... before, just when I was picking the two boys up from the house, I noticed the look within Philips eyes... and i'll tell you now, it isn't the first time i've seen such a gaze except never before have I seen anyone look so fearless.. I only worry that he'll remember this day and attempt something crazy once he realises. Naturally there is also the reason of being able to protect them, we wouldn't want something happening to them such as today's incident." - Hagrid

Dumbledore with his almost impeccable poker face due to occlumency had a slight change in facial expression, most because all of these things were true and to take the risk of the two twins being caught by Death Eaters is simply beyond stupid.

"Hmmm, okay then.. but we will still need to find someone that can look after the two boys from now on, someone that is trustworthy too, of course." - Dumbledore

Minerva looked like she had wanted to say something for the second, but then decided that perhaps it wasn't such a good idea.

"I know what you're thinking Minerva.. whilst you would certainly be one of the best choices right now, with the position you have in Hogwarts, I believe it would certainly cause some issues for you in regards to them growing up without you being there all the time. On another note, I think I may know just the person for the job.. he is their blood relative after all, and a true one at that." - Dumbledore

Minerva thought for a moment, "You couldn't mean..?"

"Yes, Minerva, i'm talking about Fleamont Potter... the Grandfather of Harry and Philip Potter" - Dumbledore

"But... I thought Fleamont and Euphemia both died to the infamous dragon pox disease?" - Hagrid

"Due to the times and the dreadful situations that the Potters were put through, it is believed that both of them had infact faked their deaths so as to not attract any unwanted attention from the Death Eaters.. they were a very useful couple back in the day after all.. very powerful too." - Dumbledore

Minerva's eyes lit up whilst Hagrid looked a lot happier to know of such news, It had to be known that both Fleamont and Euphemia were all-powerful in their own rights, whether it be with regards to money, strength or even looks.

And thus, the three of them went their separate ways, Dumbledore and Minerva started making plans on how to contact the Potter couple in hopes of a good answer.

Time passed by rather swiftly with the two boys living in Hagrid's small hut temporarily, hidden away from all the other students and alike. After a few days, they had finally got a form of message, Dumbledore and Minerva were both sat down in the Principal's office one day when suddenly a Owl began to peck on the window of his office.

With it being Dumbledores office himself, it was very rare for them to get a letter from someone and hence they had a rough hope. Minerva went and opened the window slightly allowing for the Raven black Owl to make its way in and onto the table in between their chairs.

Once given a small treat, the Owl happily gave the letter to Dumbledore allowing for him to see the contents. He turned the letter around only to see the Powerful yet slightly forgotten Potter crest from their main family on the back tightly sealing the letter, also having been imbued with magic so as to not allow the letter to fall into the wrong hands. In the event that it did, the letter would automatically destroy itself and be forever gone.

Dumbledore slid his finger along the top parchment of the envelope allowing for it to open itself, bringing the magic to take the letter out before his eyes and lay in plain view of both Dumbledore and Minerva.

The letter was like so.

Dear Mr Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore

It is infact as you have surmised, we two are still alive and coping well.

I have heard of the events that have transpired recently...

and I must say, it has been truly heart-wrenching.

We understand that by now, you must have both of our Grandchildren and we would kindly ask of you to allow us the privilege of taking custody of said children.

We shall be making our way to Hogwarts as swiftly as time allows us, and we await the good news.

Yours Sincerely,

Fleamont Potter.

Minerva and Dumbledore shared a gaze, before having a small laugh.

"It appears as though we have nothing to worry about, I wasn't sure if they would be willing to make their way onto the stage once again... but of course, having two grandchildren in the hands of others especially when they're their only family left would make anyone come rushing." - Dumbledore

"Thankfully that is so, I guess we had best prepare to receive them too." - Minerva

After a short while, Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall and Hagrid had all met in the main office and awaited their guests.

Within but a few minutes, you could see two silhouettes flying through the sky before proceeding to land at the window sill, Luckily, Minerva was already prepared for such a situation and left the window open allowing for the pair to come straight in.

What greeted their eyes was a Couple, that appeared to be around the 40 years old... which was a stark contrast compared to their genuine ages of 80 or so. They looked good as new, Fleamont had a slight slick-back black hairstyle with gentle yet strong eyes whilst Euphemia had platinum-blonde hair and a very gentle, soothing pair of emerald eyes.
