Headquarters

Min-soo got out of the car and was stunned to see the massive changes to the building that was now the headquarters of Magic Shop Entertainment.

Min-soo's eyes were glued to the new company sign above the front entrance, "Magic Shop Entertainment". He whistled in appreciation and liked the feeling of seeing something concrete.

As soon as he entered the building, he saw that the ground floor had been completely renovated, where there were once blank and empty walls, they were now replaced by beautiful reliefs of constellations that evoked the mysteries and magic of the vast universe.

Min-soo felt they were very fitting with his family background and the name of his company. Whomever had decided on this theme was definitely getting a bonus this month, Min-soo made a mental note of.

During his admiration for the changes in his company, Min-soo was brought out of his reverie by the warm greetings of the receptionist.

"CEO Lee, good morning. I am the new receptionist, Baek Jae-eun. I was recruited by President Sun, who is my former lecturer for one of my courses back when I was in university. Oh, I'm sorry, I should not be taking up so much of your time. I shall let President Sun know that you have arrived."

Min-soo was in a good mood and seeing that Jae-eun was both well spoken and presented herself well, he had no qualms with Uncle Sun's decision. However, looking around Min-soo saw that the front entrance was rather lacking in security.

He decided to ask Jae-eun, "Jae-eun, why are there no security guards?"

A little taken aback, Jae-eun then answered, "President Sun was waiting for your return before making a final decision on what company to select."

"Oh, okay, then, Thank you for your hard work. Have a good day, Jae-eun."

"Good day, CEO Lee."

Min-soo headed over to the lifts, while Jae-eun seeing the back of her new boss, quietly let out a sigh of relief.

She quickly hurried back over to the front desk and making sure Min-soo had gotten into the lift, took out her phone and texted her friend.

"OMG, CEO Lee is more handsome in real life than in the photos. How is he still single?"

She immediately received a reply, "How can you say that without sending me a photo. My Prince Min-soo. I am soo jealous of you. If only I had taken that elective course on the Hallyu Wave, then I too could find a job at Magic Shop Entertainment. Instead I am stuck here with an ugly idiot of a boss."

Jae-eun and her friend continued to exchange texts, until Jae-eun heard a cough coming from before her and immediately jumped up in fright. Standing before her was none other than Hyun-woo.

"Miss Baek, I hope that you don't forget that you are at work." He said dryly.

"Yes, yes Secretary Han. I am sorry. I will not do it again." She hurriedly put her phone away.

"Very well. Just make sure to complete your work before you engage in your social activities, I do not mind and neither does CEO Lee. Have you notified President Sun of CEO Lee's arrival?"

It was then that Jae-eun realised her mistake, she was so caught up in bragging to her friend about how handsome Min-soo was that she had forgotten to notify President Sun of Min-soo's imminent arrival.

Hurriedly grabbing the phone, she called President Sun's office.

"Jae-eun? What's up? I have already made plans for lunch, so don't ask." A friendly female voice inquired.

"Ah, Jang-mi, no, no, CEO Lee is coming up, has he already arrived? Let President Sun know."

"Eh?" at that moment Jae-eun heard a ding from the other end and figured it was CEO Lee exiting the lift.

"Okay, my job is done." Jae-eun hung up before Jang-mi could respond.

Breathing out a sigh of relief, Jae-eun looked up only to see the bemused face of Hyun-woo, who only chuckled before heading over to the lifts.

Jae-eun took a long glance around before seeing that the lobby had returned to its tranquil and quiet state, took out her phone again and continued bantering with her friend.

Min-soo stepped out of the lift and was once again in awe of the changes. While the renovations of the previous owner gave it a newer and modern look, it was the soft touches that he assumed was the work of Uncle Sun and his new secretary that gave it the 'lived in' feel.

Uncle Sun, like Min-soo had an entire floor to themselves.

However, unlike Min-soo's floor, where there were extra amenities and even a room where he could sleep should he choose to stay at the company. Uncle Sun's personal office occupied half the floor and the rest was split between a conference room/break room and his personal secretary.

The entire building was seven storeys, including the ground floor and with the top two floors occupied by Min-soo and Uncle Sun, the other four, excluding the ground floor, two were for music/idol production activities, the business functions, such as HR, finance, legal etc. and a recreation floor.

As for the other five buildings in the surroundings that he now owned, they were all only three storeys high. One he was planning to house the security teams in, two would be renovated to house the trainees and the others would be for whatever could not fit in the main building.
