Clan Library

"It's ok, I will attend Moonlight academy....If this is father and mothers wish. If this is it then I will be going back to my room and prepare for the academy tomorrow. I should be able to start tomorrow right?...I won't disappoint you father and mother.

I'll try my best to make some friends and learn something whilst I'm there. Brothers don't have to worry as well. If anything I have you guys there, I'll come find you if I run into difficult situations."

As she replied this, her parents and brothers were both shocked.

She was reluctant to appear in public for years now. What had made her change her mind?

They were puzzled but at the same time were happy that she agreed.

To them, it seemed like their daughter and sister was quite different. There was this different feeling about her, but they weren't going to complain.

She was never this calm and collected. Before, she would cry like a child and refused to do things she didn't like.

Yulin's family was surprised to hear her say that. They'd expected a tantrum and her bringing up her illness.

To them, Yulin seemed way too different today. As if their she was a totally different person.

Yulin dismissed herself and left the main hall. She continued to walk back to her room. If she was going to attend the academy tomorrow she'd have to mentally prepare herself.

Although she agreed to her parents decision, she had just arrived to this world so she didn't know what or how to act.

She needed to sort through some memories of Yulin and prepare herself.

As she thought up to here, she realized her illness would need to be treated. She needs to go back to the space within that dimension and cure herself of this illness.

But first, she needs to examine what the illness is.

In her past life, she read and learned a lot about medicine and acupuncture.

Her specialty was reading but she had the capability of being able to remember things once after she had read it.

She was quick at picking up things and was known as the Emperor's strategist as well. She was indeed a smart person who helped the Emperor rise to his throne.

She called out to the maid from earlier, Mu Suling.

She told Mu Suling that she was going to the family library and if anything to call her. She also asked Mu Suling to not follow her.

Mu Suling found it weird but did not question Yulin. Yulin then walked off towards the library.

There were so many books within the library. As she walked in, she found that there were several clan members looking at books.

However, their was a corner that they avoided.

Yulin walked to that corner and inspected the books. The corner that Yulin was looking at had many books that were rusted and full of dust.

'Hmmm...these books seems to have been untouched for quite awhile now,' she thought.

Yulin quickly grabbed a random book from this corner and looked through it.

She had a feeling that the books here were different from the other books in the library.

After reading it, she was shocked to find that the book talked about releasing the meridians and making it so that someone could open all their meridians.

This would allow them to absorb more of the spiritual energy from heaven and earth. The book was heavy and about one index finger long.

This was very interesting and she got this feeling that it wouldn't be hard for her to open her meridians if she got the chance to.

With some needles and some meditation, it would be as easy as walking.

What she didn't know was that those books in the corner were left there because many failed to comprehend them even after studying it for years.

Those books were the Sheng clans most prized and precious. However, they were left there because many had tried but failed and the books have become seen as useless.

Many people within their clan had tried to read and study it, however, failed to. However, she was able to read through half of it in under two hours and fully comprehending everything she read.

What kind of monstrous comprehension was that?!

If her parents or even the clan master knew that, what would they think!?
