"Yeah." The deep voice answered George´s call.
"Hey man. You have to help me out." George said.
"Where are you?" The voice shortly asked.
Wasting no time George told him his location.
"There is a car following us. I have someone with me so you should hurry."
Again the voice answered shortly. "Got it." And hung up the phone.
Eira had listened to the rather short conversation and turned her head in curiosity.
"Who did you call?"
"A friend. He always helps me in difficult situations. I can trust him." That was all George had wanted to tell her about that person.
Eira sensed that it wasn´t something she should butt in so she kept quiet.
Meanwhile, they had arrived at George´s apartment. It was located downtown and the building looked very old... even moldy in some places.
Eira looked around in surprise.
"You live here?" She asked in disbelieve.
George shrugged his shoulders.
"Why not? It is quiet here. And no one knows me."
"Aha." Eira nodded not quite understanding.
George walked out of the car as if nothing happened. Eira followed his suit. But instead of walking to his apartment he grabbed her hand and quickly went to a nearby grocery store.
"What are you doing?" Eira whispered.
"Play with me for a bit. I want to find out who they are working for." George grinned.
They went past the grocery store to the river behind it.
"George, what are you planning?" Eira asked confused.
Instead of answering her he looked at her with anger clearly visible on his face.
"I want you to do like we have a fight. A really bad one. Shove me or slap me. I want to see how they react." George growled. From afar it really looked like he was angry at her.
Eira smirked and quickly changed her expression to a cold face.
"You-" She shouted. "What do you think you are doing, huh?" She pushed George hard.
He stumbled a bit but caught himself quickly. With a few steps, he was in front of her again.
"Good. Keep it on." He whispered to her quietly and glanced behind her to watch the movements of the shadows following them.
"You jerk. Get away from me!" Eira continued to shove him but he resisted and even grabbed her. So she slapped him as he suggested a while ago.
"Enough is enough. I put off with you long enough." George also shouted. He grabbed her and pushed her against a tree. Before her back touched the tree he slowed down to not injure her.
Now they were behind the tree.
The shadows following them were cut out of their view and they also couldn´t see what Eira and George were doing.
George smirked and leaned down to her.
"That was good. Now scream like I am hurting you really badly." He whispered into her ear. The sudden contact gave Eira goosebumps. She just nodded at his command.
"Ahhh." She shouted but it came out rather weak.
"What are you doing? That is not a shout out of pain." George whispered to her again.
Her face flushed red. She couldn´t take the closeness they were in.
Suddenly George pinched her really hard in the side.
Surprised she yelped. Angry that he touched her... well you know *whisper* problem zone... she yelled at him.
"YOU!!!" But before she could say something else he grabbed her and bit her neck. It is a sensitive spot so she cried out.
They heard shuffling and suddenly a man stood beside them and grabbed George´s collar. He pulled him back and separated him from her.
"Hey, you shouldn't harass a woman." He said to George.
George himself just grinned back at him.
"Or else?" He asked cheekily.
The man was stunned and stuttered.
"I- I... You will have to deal with me." He threatened.
George just continued to grin.
"Oh, and who are you?"
The man retreated a bit.
"I am just a passerby who saw that you harassed a woman."
George and I snorted in response. The man looked at us strangely. Before he could register what was happening George aimed right at his face and knocked him out. In the distance, shuffling was heard and a few more men appeared before them. They ran straight at George and attacked him. He swung his fist left and right and shouted.
"Who are you working for? Tell me!"
The men didn´t answer him but concentrated on getting a hold on him. One lucky man hit George right below his rips. Still, George didn´t flinch and swung his fists around. The fight didn´t last long when from afar steps were heard and a group of ten men came closer.
The men who were still trying to beat George up looked up and looked confused at each other. Their confused look changed when it dawned on them that help was coming for George and Eira and not for them.
They put their legs into their hands and ran as fast as they could carrying the unconscious man at the beginning with them.
The group of men was led by a man with a hoodie and a face mask. He stopped the whole group before them and then greeted George.
"Sorry, we´re late. Had to throw them out of bed."
George shook his head in disappointment.
"You guys think only because you got *air quote* vacation you can slack off right? Look what you did. They are all gone now. Warning their boss." He said half-joking.
"I am sorry sir." The man apologized again.
"Luckily I´ve got a clue." George smiled like a child solving a really hard question. He took out a card and gave it to the man.
"Here. You know what to do." Both of them exchanged a look and the man nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, I know what to do."
George patted him on the shoulder and took him to the side so that Eira couldn´t hear what he said.
"The guys saw me with her. I want some men to follow her. Just to be sure. Got it?" George whispered. The man nodded understanding.
Eira saw that George didn´t want her to hear what they were talking about but they had underestimated her... well to be exact her height. She was on the smaller side so she ducked at bit and leaned closer to them. From there, they didn´t see her. So she could hear every single word George had said.
She didn´t know what she should do about that so she kept quiet for now.
The group of men went back and left George and Eira standing there alone again. They didn´t say anything for a while until George went closer to her and touched her neck.
She jolted but held still and just looked at him.
"I am sorry I bit you. I didn´t know another way to make you scream... or rather this was the quickest way to make you scream. The other would take some effort." He smirked smugly.
Eira´s face got bright red and she hit him.
"Pervert." She said.
George flinched a bit. She noticed that and stopped in her actions.
"We should go back to your place. You are injured." She told him.
"Why? Want me to make you scream with my other method?" He asked her smugly.
"No, you idiot I don´t mean that." She blushed more. To hide it she started to walk past him.
George smiled and walked behind her obediently.
They went inside his apartment. Eira let George tell her were the first aid kit was and she went to get it. When she was back he sat on his bed.
Shirtless.
"Why are you shirtless?" She asked stunned.
"My wound is here. So I have to take off my shirt." He answered smiling.
Eira sighed and just concentrated to treat his bruise that was already dark purple almost black.
When she was done she stood up and intended on putting the first aid kit back to its place.
But George held her back.
"Wait, where are you going? We are not done yet." He said.
Confused she looked at him.
"Why? Are you hurt somewhere else?" She asked him.
"No. But you are. Let me do it for you." George answered her and shoved her on his bed.
He took the first aid kit out of her hands and leaned over her. Still shirtless.
"First we have to disinfect this." He half-whispered.
