"What do you want to do?" Liam asked her.
"I will seduce him. I will turn his sick game around. I will catch two flies with a hand." Eira smirked.
"How?" Liam had raised a brow.
"I let him believe that I lost hope to resist him anymore. Letting him close because keeping your foes as close as friends is better than pushing them away, ya know?" Eira smirked dangerously.
"You are creepy when you smirk like that," Liam commented.
She punched him on his arm.
"Let me be." She chuckled as she saw that he rubbed the place she had hit him. "Such a weakling." She mumbled.
"I heard you." He said glaring at her.
They both exited the car and walked back into the restaurant. Eira had quickly written a reply to John. She suggested him to meet him at a cafe in an hour. She was sure he was nearby so he would make it on time.
And she was right. He soon came in and walked to her.
"Well well well, you finally are doing the right thing. I am proud of you." He laughed.
"Have a seat John." She pointed at the chair before her. He sat down and one of the waiters gave him something to drink.
"So you really want my help?" He asked.
Eira took a deep breath. She had to pull this off as convincing as possible.
"I..." She started but stopped and looked down.
John looked at her expectantly.
"I really am at my wit's end. I can´t do this anymore. I am tired." She cried out.
On John´s face a smirk slowly crept up but he quickly hid it.
"Oh dear. I know you went through so much. Seriously, I know it. I never let you out of my gaze." He comforted her. "I am here now. Don´t cry."
"I don´t know what to do anymore. I really can´t..." Eira continued to cry.
"My dear. I will help you. First I will get the good delivered here. They will arrive tomorrow. Don´t worry." John said.
Eira looked at him with tears filling her eyes.
"Really? You´ll really help me?... What´s the price?" She asked him.
"You know what I want. It´s YOU." He smirked.
Eira gulped.
"John..."
"You don´t have to love me. You can even have an affair if you like. We will be married by law. That´s all. I just need you Eira Morgan, CEO of Morgan Noodles, to be my wife." John explained.
"I will think about it. Just don´t threaten me like this anymore. That was horrible." Eira let a tear roll down her cheek.
John wiped it softly away with his hands.
"I know it was stupid of me. I was really desperate. I won´t do that again." He promised.
Eira nodded lightly.
"Then it´s settled. Think about everything. I will get the contract ready and send you the goods. Don´t try to run away." John said and looked at her warningly.
Eira nodded once again obediently.
John was satisfied and stood up.
"I will see you then. Good luck with everything." He said and bid his goodbye.
Eira stayed seated and waited for him to be out of sight. Then she wiped away the remaining tears and quickly messaged Liam.
In the last hour, she had started to think her whole plan through and with Liam´s help, they got a strategy. She was glad to have him.
George, on the other hand, saw how close Eira and Liam were and was irritated. He was raging in the kitchen. At the end the whole kitchen was a mess and the shop manager was furious yelling at him right now.
"I still need this kitchen tomorrow. Do your experiments in your own kitchen. You´ve done enough. Now clean this mess up. I don´t care who you are but when I am not able to open the kitchen tomorrow Miss Morgan won´t forgive. So hurry now." He yelled at him.
George somehow contained his anger and started to clean up. Liam had heard the loud yelling and had witnessed what was happening. He picked up a broom and started helping.
"I don´t need your help," George growled.
"I can´t let Mr. Henning sweeping the floor here all alone. Let me help you and we finish this quickly." Liam answered nonchalantly.
George growled one last time and continued to clean up. Eira also saw the shop manager storming out of the kitchen so she went to the kitchen herself to see what happened.
The scene before her was truly too funny. She started to laugh.
Liam in his suit was holding a broom while George was holding a cloth in his hands. She quickly took a picture of it.
"Guys. What happened?" She asked.
"Nothing." Both of them answered simultaneously.
"Do you need help?" She asked.
"No." Both answered simultaneously again.
She laughed at them and took another cloth to clean the kitchen surface.
"You don´t need to help. We are almost done." Liam stopped her.
Eira went out of his hold and continued cleaning.
"Come on. It´s already late. We should finish soon and get something to eat. I am starving." She chuckled.
Liam let her be and continued sweeping the floor. George just looked at both of them. NO, he glared more than looked.
And as Eira and Liam said before they finished quickly and walked out of the restaurant.
"I am starving and I want something to drink," Eira exclaimed.
"Me too. Didn´t eat anything all day." Liam nodded while walking beside her. George just followed them from behind.
"I know a good place. Let´s go there. Come on George. Don´t look so grumpy. You are destroying your beautiful face." Eira said cheerfully.
George just gave a growl like he already did since they started cleaning.
Eira grabbed his arm and dragged him with her to a small street vendor.
They sat down and Eira ordered some food for them.
"You are treating us?" Liam asked.
"Yes. Why are you asking?" Eira looked at him surprised at his question.
"You don´t have to. I am new. I should invite you all to a meal." Liam said.
"Nonsense. You don´t have to do that. I am your boss. Do as I say. I´ll pay for the food." Eira shrugged him off.
"As you wish madam." Liam chuckled.
Soon the food came together with three big glasses of beer.
Their mouth watered at the sight and immediately dig in. Even George forgot his grumpy state and started to eat.
