The Ark Of Mordred Takes Over

Midori saw battle as annoying and didn't want too much conflict. She wasn't a warmonger, so the fox child wasn't going to initiate fights or even understand the thrill of combat. However, Mordred lived for the adrenaline of battles and victories of wars.

But it wasn't to say that two girls hate each other... On the contrary, there's a reason why Mordred chose to inhabit this young girl's body.

"You were so vulnerable when I was summoned into your world. I was supposed to be your guardian as a command from your father, who wasn't anywhere when I arrived. I couldn't be summoned properly since my catalyst was gone."

"Your father was summoning me into your body because he was trying to use me to follow your location and take you and your brother back. Until now, the Mage summoned me is still alive, but I've no clue where he would be. So until then, I am attached to your soul as a sentinel."

"So no matter the cost, even if it's to fight against the world, I will protect you to the very end. That was the command given to me from my summoner."

While Duncan was talking to the Ankou, Mordred was worried that Midori wouldn't make it under the pressure of an attack that hailed from the Gods. Thus, the Red Saber decided to do what she did best... Rebelling. Since Midori was nearly out of power, it was time for Mordred to shine.

"Alright then. Show me what you can do as my protector from my father. I want to feel your thrill of the battle. Go on ahead and make Circe fall on my behalf, Treacherous Knight of the Round Table!" commanded Midori as she allowed Mordred to gain complete control of her body.

"Hehe... Now it's my turn to play with you, little archer of the inferno," murmured Mordred while using Midori's body to appear in the battle.

Circe's eyes widened when Midori flashed in front of her with red sparks flying around. The poor Hawkeye was promptly knocked out when Midori delivered a sucker punch into her face. Tomoe quickly caught the flying girl and asked her to return to the surface.

Bryan quickly summoned up his twin scythes as he got ready to battle Midori... Or Mordred? Because right now, after gaining complete control of the child's body, Midori's appearance has changed quite a bit. Her ears and tail remained the same but were now blonde, and so was her hair.

Her eye color did not change, but her battle outfit was now a bulky armor with red streaks and a new sword, one with the same motif as the outfit. But the Elemental Aura was the Knight of Rebellion's as she made the first attacking move.

The Slayer was hardly ready when Mordred sprang up and clashed with him under a Tick.

"Hmm? Mavislin recruited such a weak little thing to be in her Barren Pillars? What a joke, your fighting power can't even compete with Bedivere, let alone with me!" roared the girl as she overpowered the clash by switching places and kicking Bryan's wrist.

The Slayer hurled towards the sides of the battlefield as Tomoe pounced with his attack, hoping to catch the rampaging Knight off guard.

"Huh? Why is there an anemic Mage in the field? Better get back to bed before I put in a coffin!" said Mordred, as she quickly caught Tomoe's arm.

Tomoe widened his eyes as he saw a red ball of lightning forming in the palm of Mordred's free hand. At that point, Tomoe was begging that Raiyen would randomly summon him someplace else before he became the next meat on Clement's menu. Roasted fox isn't as lovely as chicken.

But it was Bryan who would get the fox out of his predicament as he sprang an attack behind the Knight of Rebellion, with his scythes high in the air and ready to strike at Mordred's back. But you can't teach an old dog new tricks as Mordred has been through tag teams before.

Thus, the swordsman knew precisely what the two were planning and promptly knocked them away. Mordred abruptly turned her body and swung her arm holding the Kitsune, causing the Slayer and Kitsune to clash and fly across the area again.

"Haha! You see what I mean, Midori? I told you... Don't always rely on your weapon or the virtues of not liking a fight... Instead, embrace the feeling of war!" laughed Mordred as she sprinted towards the Slayer.

"Stars of the Scorpion, Scorpio!" yelled Bryan as he quickly moved his scythes around to draw the symbol of the Scorpio constellation.

A huge emblem appeared above Mordred and rained droplets of poison on top of the Knight, making her fall back and into Tomoe's attack.
