The Founders got ready to restrain the Valkyrie, but all of them were thinking the same thing; were they physically powerful enough to stop an adult Valkyrie? For Magecraft-wise, Gillian could easily cancel out Mavislin's powers, but a fight using endurance and strength is a different matter.
But luckily for everyone, Mavislin merely transformed into a little dragon with scarlet scales and golden eyes. Kyle widened his eyes as the dragon slapped her tail against his face.
"Ow! Now I remember you! You're Crimson! I thought you died..." said Kyle, becoming sad after the last sentence.
"Dead?! You forgot to feed me for two weeks, so I went into a deep slumber! When I woke up, it was winter! I froze my tail off!" yelled Mavislin, continuing to use her tail as a whip to give Kyle a new face brutally.
"Ow! Okay, okay! I'm sorry! Now I remember you, so stop slapping me with your tail! It's not lightweight!" begged Kyle as Mavislin reverted to her human form again.
As the two Mages stopped bickering, Mavislin bowed to the Founders and apologized for lashing out without telling them the truth.
"So, was that the reason for Ashley turning against Kyle?" asked Ysabeau, checking to see if her Valkyrie was okay.
"Most probably since he is a part of me, and I was napping until I could feel Ashley using more power than he would need in a casual setting. But... May I know why is Kyle here in the first place? And why is Baldwin sending me an alert message when he shouldn't be communicating with me?"
"I've got an answer for the first question, but I've got no clue about the second one. For the first one, we called Kyle here because he was the only one who could help us free the Old Chapel, which was being held down by the Binding Universes' Chains."
"If that's the case, why didn't you wake me up? I could've gone out and-"
"First, there is no way I will wake a sleeping Valkyrie up. That's the same as saying I don't value my life anymore. Second, the Binding Universes spell works like a cage; you can't get out if you are the one being chained down."
"And if you try, you risk destroying the entire Old Chapel, especially with how destructive your powers can be. And I spent too long on this place to ever allow that incident to happen, so..."
"You asked the Mage Of Planets to help us out? Well, I guess that would be fine... Now then, as for my next question..." said the Valkyrie, walking towards Z's desk.
Mavislin placed her Signal Crystal on the tabletop and allowed the Old Chapel to beam out Baldwin's message and report about the circumstance of the Teuton Domain.
'Listen up, Mav. For some weird reason, I can't send this message to anyone else but you. I am at the highest point of the Teuton Domain, looking beyond the coastline. And I will report that something is heading towards Teuton's Western Coast.'
'Since I've no clue what's going to happen, I have instructed all Mafia Forces on the West Coast to evacuate the area and prepare for the worse. Please let me know if Z knows what is heading toward us. Right now, Teuton's condition is unstable.'
Baldwin's message indicated that he needed help, and the thing at sea corresponded to the one Kyle had been hunting down.
"Judging by his urgency and this live feed, I'd say that hurricane will hit the coast within half a day. I never thought I would've to go around the globe to quell this giant storm..."
"So, shall I tell the Angry Man that someone will help him out against the storm?" asked Z, readying Mavislin's Signal Crystal to send back another message.
"Wait... I'm out of the loop here... What storm?" asked the Valkyrie, feeling dizzy and confused.
"This storm... Or hurricane by the readings of these..." said Z, showing Mavislin the map of Teuton and the ocean.
The Valkyrie furrowed her eyebrows as she enlarged the screen, zooming into the white swirl before summoning a holographic keyboard. Several more screens popped out with lines linking to the white wheel.
"Hey, Kyle... You said you were chasing that storm around the globe? Did you ever see it up close? More importantly... How long have you chased this thing?" questioned the Valkyrie without looking away from the screens.
"The closest I've ever been would be when the storm is a giant white cloud with lightning striking everywhere. It took out most of the Western Forest from the other continent. Don't ask how I got there, but I did. It wasn't fun since that place was full of animals and no human in sight."
