The Ark Of Tristan's Reason

"I should put you in your place for being so arrogant. You don't belong here, for this is my terrain. I will show you the power of a Knight of the Round Table," growled Tristan as he aimed the bow at Ashley and plucked on the strings.

Several arrows shot out from the weapon despite Tristan not having to load up any item. The Marksman quickly away, using the rocks as platforms and propelled himself towards the archer.

While dodging the arrows, Ashley was soaring through the air while upside down as he aimed at the Knight.

"Lynx Eyes: Round Two. Gemini's Waterfall!" yelled the Marksman as he fired off the shots.

Tristan merely stood there and took in the torrent of water. After a few Ticks, Ashley landed back onto his feet and was ready for another counterattack. But to his dismay, Ashley found that Tristan was completely dry. But the two men wasted no time as they continued firing shots at each other.

"You speak as if this is your home when you should have been dead for a few centuries. I don't know your true intentions of coming here, but it's safe to say that what you are doing is inconveniencing my team and me."

"So please don't make this any more difficult for me than it already is..." said Ashley as he tilted his head to avoid an arrow.

"So what would you like me to do?" asked Tristan, lowering his bow.

"Well, I only need you to stop killing off the male populous of this Domain," instructed Ashley, hoping it would be a simple request from the archer.

But the Knight Of Lamentation merely sighed and shook his head. Whelp, it was worth a try, thought Ashley.

"I can't do that request, for I am trying to serve my King."

"What are your King's aspirations? What does he plan to do in the Albion Domain that he would need over a hundred dead men? And not to mention that you are grabbing civilians off the streets. That act in and out of itself violates the Chivalry Code, so you ought to be ashamed of yourselves."

"Our King wants to change Albion into something prosperous. He dreams of a place where there are no sorrows. No fighting, no more wars. A place where humanity can thrive. A sinless paradise..." replied Tristan as he looked at his bow.

Ashley widened his eyes as he came upon the realization of what Tristan was talking about. The Marksman gripped his gun tightly as he pictured Euphoria in his head. Hang on... What's going on? Why was Ashley having such a tremendous headache now?!

The picture... That's not Euphoria... Wait, that's not even his memories, to begin with! Instead, the scene in Ashley's mind was a river flowing between two green hills adorned with colorful flowers. To wrap up, the skies were azure with fluffy clouds strewn everywhere.

But the image faded and turned into something more disturbing. The blue skies changed to brown and gold to signify a sunset. Instead of the two hills and river, a vast mountain of corpses was in front of Ashley. The Marksman gulped as he saw a single person at the top.

The person was kneeling on the corpses while having his sword stabbed upright into the pile of bodies. But the picture was gone as Ashley blinked again.

The Marksman was very confused... Never in his life did he read about the King of Camelot nor dealt with any Knights. And this was the vision of the past instead of the future, which Ashley could not do. So the Marksman snapped his fingers as he figured it was Mavislin's memories.

"Avalon. You are talking about the Sinless Utopia of Avalon... The Land Of Eternal Springs and the same resting place that King Arthur was taken to by the Lady of the Lake after Bedivere gave back Excalibur, " replied Ashley, stepping back from Tristan.

"Oh? It would seem that a person with young eyes like yours would be so knowledgeable. Or are you using that Valkyrie to help you?"

"I wouldn't be the Mafia Head if I always needed the Valkyrie's assistance. Besides, what is so condemning for my friend to help me out in a fight? No one said that this was going to be a fair duel when you are the one having back up in the shadows..."

Tristan's eyes widened as he frantically looked around. Ashley smiled as he watched Tristan trying to find his backup troops.

"I was kidding... I had dealt with them during our earlier clash. Those dolls are quite useful instead of using real people. I don't know what Magercraft brought them to life, but they should get an upgrade since one of the bullets can go through five dolls without breaking..."
