The World Of Eternity!

….

With a thought of Nei, explanations were added to all interface functions. The information would show when you moved over it with cursor; or in Nei's case, his mind power. This would prevent the interface from looking clustered with to many information.

The next thing Nei did was to take all interface options and put them under three main categories. There were just to many symbols swirling around the interface; some with only minor importance. It would be far more economical to divide them into sub categories, that could only be accessed through the three main section.

Nei imagined the categories like this:

| | | |

The names were precise and easy to understand for even new players.

, was the section of the god himself. It included information such as the god's laws, god's rank, alignments, life experience, and many other to a god vital information. The symbol of the Icon was a self portrait of the god himself.

The second section, assembled all knowledge bout the god's churches, devoted, army's, recourses, divine kingdoms and much more. It was the backbone of any god, and hope to expand influence and control in the realm. It had the symbol of a holy cross.

The third and last category Nei imagined, went by the name it was the god's tool to keep overview not only over himself, but also his lurking enemies. It had a map of the realm—used to plan and order followers and troops over the realm. Besides this was in possession of subcategories for: politics, ongoing wars, alliances and other such things.

The three sections together, combined all things important to a god's survival in the world of Parugyas. They were also called 'The three Pillars of Eternity'.

Having successfully altered the beforehand disorderly interface, into a soft and clean looking one, Nei was pleased. He couldn't help but feel proud of the improvements in the video game he made. It even made him highly motivated to continue with the divine kingdoms and mainland alterations.

"Haha this is the feeling of a creator—a god! This feels too good, I am already becoming addicted to this." He shouted, while floating in a place far from the realm.

'Teleport me to the divine kingdom!'

*shuu*

After a short darkness, Nei found himself at the top of a glamorous palace. The palace looked like a tall standing tower with ever higher reaching levels. The highest marking the god's residence.

Nei was exactly there. Standing at the top floor he could look down onto the whole of his divine kingdom. It wasn't as big as a world or even a continent, yet it could still be compared to a small sized town.

The kingdom had wide plains, forests, mountains, rivers and seas. It looked completely untouched from any sort of pollution or civilization. With only the tower standing proud in the middle of its land.

"Hmm, this seems to be the lowest rank kingdom. Well whatever, it's more easy for me to look at everything this way." Thinking, Nei looked back into the light of his residence.

The residence consisted of only one room. However this one room was immensely huge, as big as a soccer field. In the center of it was a shrine similar to the one of the god's court, only that this one was much smaller, and was only showing him a three dimensional view of his divine kingdom.

Besides the shrine in the center, there were many other things too. In the North of the tower for example, was a library with books that smelled and looked so antique they were falling apart.

In the East he saw a God sized bed, who's mattress and pillows looked as comfortable as heavenly clouds, a mirror who's width and length was enough for even a giant to look at himself, a wardrobe that was long enough to surrounded both like the Chinese wall. And lastly a similar bewitching bath.

In the West was a hall, with a long wooden table and seats around it; that were big enough for a hundred big men to gather.

And South. There was the god's study, which didn't have much; but a desk, chair and sofa. It didn't need much, it was a place for work. distraction weren't allowed.

Looking into each direction, Nei felt like something was missing gameplay wise. "Let's give them some real uses, except looking nice."

: The place where a god can plan & accept new missions.

: A place of knowledge, god's can gain knowledge through using their power and spy on the heavenly secrets. This is limited to once a week.

: The shrine is for, building new structures in the divine land. And giving an overview of structures, population, resources etc.

: Recruitment & deployment of new troops or troops in the divine kingdom and mainland.

: A bed to skip time, a mirror and wardrobe to change your clothes. Lastly a bath to heal & cleanse your wounds.

Giving every corner a gameplay use, Nei still found it to be somehow clumsy. How should a new player know what each section uses were? "Let's add some text explanation, that appear whenever a player is focusing their vision on a specific part."

The moment the words left his mouth, Nei could see descriptions popping up, whenever he held his vision on a specific item. "This is much better now players can understand with just a look. The mechanics for everything look pretty good already, the only thing I want to add is a free vision concept. A mechanic where the player can change their view into an all enclosing sight. It will be called 'Eagle vision', and with it players will be able to see their whole kingdom from the sky. —Like gamers are already familiar with in other games. That's it.. perfect!.. Bring me to the mainland!"

*shuu*

The short blackness and silence, were already familiar to Nei, and he wasn't fearful of it anymore.

What he saw when color returned to his vision, was a new world. Much different from earth. This Realm wasn't round like the earth's universe; it was flat—at least it looked that way from the position Nei was right now.

Floating in the sky over the mainland. He couldn't go any closer. God's couldn't enter the mainland with their body's. It was a rule, to ease the AI's work, and pretend it's collapsing. It was already busy enough simulating the god's court and divine kingdoms. The capacity it had was limited—as it's abilities were bound to earth's standard of technology.

Looking down from high above, Nei saw a world with many races and civilization. There were humans, there were elves, dwarves, angels, demons and many more.

They were naturally not peaceful. He saw them fight, wage many wars, commit crimes, and injustice. But not all were bad, he saw acceptance, support, loyalty, and peace in some of them.

Looking at all these pictures at once was quite overwhelming to Nei. He really wished to show this realm to the people of earth, even if it wasn't the same world as he saw right now, because of the technical limitations.

"Let's get started.." Waving his hands, Nei began to modify and change the world.

First he gave names to towns, city's, kingdoms, mountains, rivers and oceans.

After that he gave the names subcategories to click on. For kingdoms—there were information such as: the king, the population, the currency, the nobles, the story of creation, ally's, enemies and a few other sub sections.

After he was done creating them, Nei dedicated himself to the video games gameplay. He thought about a way through which he could connect the different parts of the world, into a functioning game; with quests, satisfaction, challenges and goals.

"Every god starts in the character creation menu, after which they will meet the old men Ageres. Where they learn about the realms history and 'god's authority' mechanics. After this they're allowed to explore the god's court many secrets. When they satisfied their curiosity, they can teleport to their divine kingdom. They will appear in the tower, from where their kingdom can be governed. As they're newly promoted god's, they can recruit angels or devils depending on their alignment, from the mainland to serve them. With these they will expand their divine kingdom and church on the mainland. Yet new god's are ascending too, and olden gods will wake up soon. To become a transcendent god, the player has to fight—with politics, schemes, overwhelming power or other tools. To claim their rightful throne… sounds good to me."
