The ghoul speedily flew above him towarda his blindside. Quickly picking himself up to face the ghoul, everything was back to normal... The ghoul was gone.

Scanning around him, the ghoul disapeared, the noise and signs of it all vanised. If what he saw was true, than that means the status countdown of his death was true.

Everything was true, but this also meant that his rewards shall also be there, and since this is a game, Jay guessed that he can get extra time by completing missions or buying them.

He picked up the phone saw the original background of it once again. Quickly clicking through, he was awarded his nightmare token.

[Gained a Nightmare token!]

After recieving the coin, he went straight to shop and tapped on the nightmare cat.

[Do you wish to proceed the transaction? Nightmare tokens give randomized prizes that are useful.]

The text was different from the white cat, reading this Jay figured out that Nightmare missions are slightly easier, so in turn gives less of a prize than the mission prizes.

Continuing, Jay accepted the warning and proceeded. The Nightmare token was thrown into the cat's mouth, following a black whirlpool appeared and shaked the whole cart. After three seconds, something was thrown out the whirlpool, and landed in the middle of the cart.

It was a CD case, laying peacefully on the cart. As no text popped up he decided to click the disk.

Once the text popped up, the song automatically began to play. It was light paced and somewhat slow... The only instrumets were basically a shamisen and a piano, it was really simple, but yet the song sounded so good.

If this was heard by the public, it'd definately become hit song! Jay however was worried that the song was already made by someone and sung, after all even if the phone was supernatural it can't possibly be other worldy right?

Exiting the game app, he went to safari, and- his phone had no connection, he needed his SIM card...

Sighing to himself, the internet search would have to wait till he can transfer his old SIM cars once his casts are off.

Going back into the game, he went back to he shops, but this time click the Yang cat. Accepting the warning the same whirlpool appeared, albeit a different color.

This time once it was over, a Shamisen popped out. He just got a song that needed a Shamisen, and no he got an award for it? This was really too unnatural and overpowered.

He was somewhat glad to be haunted now, his major that he learned won't be obsolete from this moment forth.

Clicking the Shamisen a new text appeared.

[Learned Basic Proficiency in Shamisen]

'Basic?'

He focused in that word, he now guessed it was not as godly as he thought. It was probably related to the star ratings, or perhaps he needed to win this item again? He didn't know and its not like someoe will answer him.

After the text disappeared, a burst of knowledge and experience came into his mind. He now felt as if he played that instrument for years as a hobby. It felt very weird, but amazing Jay Kaiya.

'Maybe with this I can succeed in this life of mine!"

Other than that, five more days of his life was lost... It was definitely related tobthat Nightmare mission from today... It probably sped up the rate his life force was taken during the time of the mission...

Soon another day passed, making him able to walk again. His casts were off, and he was able to move his feet.

After he woke up yesterday, he spent all day practicing his vocals. Luckily due to his talent, and knowledge gained at his college, his singing skills matched those of average celebrities or back up singers.

A Nightmare mission also did not appear, he guessed that this was probably because the mission went on during the second day too, so technically it was a Nightmare mission twice a day, not every day.

Luckily the song was pretty simple for the talented him, the only somewhat hard part was making his voice pitch match perfectly on the chorus with the song that replayed in his head.

For some reason, he could replay the song inside his head perfectly. It was actually more accurate to say a perfect memory of the song, rather than replay. With this he was slowly perfecting his song.

As today he can finally go out, he took off his casts. His feet looked scarred from that incident sadly, but he told himself he was at least alive.

Putting on the ointment, he said goodbye to Granny Jin in order to get his stuff next door.

He walked with his feet painfully to the gate entrance. His house no longer looked like what it once was from when he came here a couple days ago.

Everything looked beaten and old, in fact the gate was broken, only the lock remained while the gate was on the ground.

Walking forward the plants from earlier were all dried and withered. Many diffrent tyoes of bugs crawled around the outside of the home, webs of spiders hoping to catch them as prey.

The entrance was strangely unlocked, and with that he opened the door. Stuffy air escaped out the house into his nostrils. Everything in sight was covered by a layer of white and gray.

Dust was everywhere, covering every single entity. When Jay Kaiya came to the house on that day, from the start, everything was simply an illusion.
