The house looked so ancient, as if it wasn't used for centuries... Strangely his shoes weren't even in the entrance...

Jay Kaiya began to feel as if he didn't even go in this house that night... Perhaps all his items he placed here were gone...

Since the house was already so dirty, he decided to just keep wearing the sandles he borrowed.

The sandles treaded on the dusted groggy floors of the house as he made his way towards the tatami room. Floorboards creaked and a eerie silence surrounded the sounds of his footsteps.

Reaching the room he peered inside. His thoughts were confirmed, his backpack was not there... Even the futon from earlier wasn't there anymore...

He lost everything he brought. His passport, clothes, and necessaties. Jay thought that at least he still had his wallet and ID with him.

The only thing that remained of that day was dolls frozen trying to climb up on the shelf from the floor. Everything else was normal though, other than the creepy Buddha that was missing...

Ignoring these creepy ghosts or spirits, he went back to get the second thing he came for.

His grandpa had am antique Okinawan Shamisen in peak condition. He remember he fondled with it once in a while when Jay lived here.

His song needed a shamisen, so he decided to grab that old one he used to play with. He walked through the creepy hallway once more, and reached his Granny's room which was where it was placed.

Going inside, the room was pitch dark, even though it was daytime. He slowly went into the room since he needed this instrument. Besides he was broke, he can't afford to skip this freebie.

The more his body strolled into the room, the more it felt like the exit was placed higher on a mountain.

He was still afraid of this place so he decided to just forget it and run for the item. Quickly running, once he secured the case he dashed out.

The room than shaked and countless sounds of things slithering were heard. As soon as he got out, the door slammed, then slivered open slowly.

Not bothering, Jay continued to dash out the house, grabbing his slippers and dip this haunted place.

Once Jay was outside the broken gates, only then did he take a sigh of relief. He guessed he would need a new SIM card though... Plus he would lose all the contacts he had through his four years of failing at college.

He guessed it didn't matter that much though, after all he only had about a dozen or so contacts. They'd probably forget him over the years too... Maybe they already said things behind his back, so perhaps they weren't even friends in the first place...

Getting back into Granny's Jin house, he felt safe. He had a strange feeling that those things next door could not exit that house. His Granny in fact probably left a will for him, but there was no way he would be able to sell the house or things related to it.

Granny Jin noticed that he did not have anything, so he just replied that the gang ended up stealing his stuff too.

Sighing she just nodded, and went back to her own things. Sending her away, Jay hurried back to his room and started practicing the Shamisen.

It looked very pretty and decorative, but it was usable and seemed the decorations fit with the song.

Pushing the case aside, he began to pluck the strings. The song was really simple, so he was able to do it in no time with the beat.

Now he got the beat and tempo, Jay began to practice with his voice, matching it with the instrument.

The whole day passed till Jay felt he had everything perfect and ready to go. It was dinner time now, so he decided to ask her if he can use her phone or computer anywhere, but the answer disappointed him.

"Jay, I don't even have a cell phone, and what use do you have for WiFi? That stuff is just bad for you! If you want to use the internet, you'll have to go to a cafe or something with free WiFi. You don't even have a SIM card though, so how about I just call my granddaughter to buy one for you?"

'Her again?...'

Jay didn't really want to face her, but its not like he had a choice. He needed the internet to see if the song existed, and if not where to gain his money and fame from this amazing song.

Just accepting what she said, Jay finished the meal and went back to the room. There should be a new nightmare mission today right?

Besides he did not want to be the one asking her for a favor on the phone, she might even refuse him...
