Michael woke up very early the next day_as per usual.
He took his bath and dressed up for work before before six, but unlike before Audrey woke up early today as well. By early I mean 6am, which was quite early when it came to Audrey.
Audrey usually opened her eyes by nine then she would sleep for one more hour after waking up.
She never was a morning person and since she didn't need to go to work before she wasn't bothered about waking up early.
Yes, Her blog was really successful but it lacked the action Audrey needed in her life, hence her insisting on working.
When Audrey woke up she found Michael standing close to the mirror. He was struggling with his tie, already dressed up for work. She yawned, stretched out her hands and grinned at the sour expression on his face.
After many years Michael still found it annoying to knot his tie.
Michael looked more handsome when he was irritated about something. There was this pouty expression he usually had on his face when he was angry that made Audrey wet with desire.
She loved watching Michael struggle to knot his tie.
"Let me help with that." She finally offered not wanting her husband to go late to work. She stepped down from the bed and strolled to him. He was several inches taller than her so she had to stretch and stand on her toes before she could reach his tie. Their eyes locked and Michael kissed her, but she quickly pulled away from the kiss.
"Common don't do that!" She almost chuckled. "I haven't brushed yet. Let me concentrate in knotting your tie you naughty boy." She said as she put the tie in the fold she had just created, successfully knotting it.
"It doesn't matter whether you have brushed or not, you know that I don't really care for that." He pecked Audrey on her lips not lingering much on them. The last thing Michael wanted was to have to argue with Audrey this morning. He looked down at his chest admiring his tie. "You are really good at this, I should pay you for your expertise."
" I know right." She smirked. "So about yesterday_"
"No I'm not changing my mind." Michael cut in sharply knowing where she was coming from and going to. "You should work it was selfish of me to ask that you do otherwise. To show my sincerity I even selected a suit for you."
Audrey watched Michael with hooded eyes. She was surprised at his change in behavior, he must really be scared of loosing her. She thought.
Michael took out from the wardrobe the suit he had picked out for his wife this morning. It was the first thing he did when he woke up. Turning to face her he showed it to her with a huge grin on his face. "I love this suit on you. It makes you look beautiful, smart and sexy all at once. You will blow their minds of." He said kissing his fingers, a gesture to support his assertion.
"Stop flattering me." Audrey blushed, taking the suit from him. They had bought it in the mall together when they were dating and she had loved how she looked wearing it as he did. She kissed him lovingly no longer caring whether she had brushed her teeth or not.
After all her breath didn't stink much because she had brushed before sleeping.
"I love you Michael." Audrey whispered as she wrapped her hands around her husband.
"Me too." Michael replied. He was starting to feel all emotional. "Alright! Alright! I need to leave for work and If I don't do so now, I may be tempted to stay and you won't go for your interview either. So no work for you too."
Audrey immediately left him. "Ha! I see what you are trying to do here, you snake!"
Michael threw his head back in laughter. "You know me much babe." He spanked her ass and took his brief case, after once more checking himself out in the mirror. He was at the door when he blew her a kiss. "I wish you luck baby. Show them who is boss!"
Audrey caught the kiss and blew him hers. "I plan to." She replied. "Love you babe."
"Me too." He said as he closed the door behind him.
Audrey heaved a sigh. She was really going to do this.
'It is real and not just a dream', she muttered to herself while she sat down on the edge of the bed looking at her suit.
Today she was going to see him again after so many years. The mere thought of it caused her heart to plummet in her chest.
