Zi Zexian is no ordinary person, He is like a 'DemiGod' to countless girls in the country. He is child prodigy in medicine. He is one of the best cardiologist in the world. Yan Yang studied extremely hard to get into Long Sunshine Hospital just to see her idol Zi Zexian.
But right now, she did a major miscalculation. it's a public knowledge that Zi's and Li's are not friends for two decades now. No one knows the real reason. The Li's were known as fearsome family since the entire family ancestors were government officials except for Mr. Li is a ruthless businessman. No one has the dare to mess with their family.
It's true that he was in critical condition, the doctors were extremely scared to do the risky surgery like Xue Nuan. Only one handful people only can do this kind of complicated ones. So incase something fails and they were scared to feel the wrath of the Li's.
Yan Yang thought Zi Zexian will understand all of that but instead he said,
" Doctor Yan Yang, you have been a complete disappointment today. By monitoring your performance for week, I was thinking about joining you in my special team of doctors. You just proved me wrong today. Maybe all your hard work was not from the heart, it was just to push you up the ladder.
When you see a patient, just see them as a patient. You are not supposed to be thinking about their background and it's consequences. We are in for people's service and not a business organization who does profit and loss calculation for every move."
Yan Yang was speechless. she has to admit that she was wrong in some places. But she was sad that he didn't understand all she did it is actually for him. she wanted to see if she has some form revival in him.
"Doctor Zi Zexian, I m extremely Sorry for the disappointment. I hope you will give me a chance again. i have learnt my lesson."
"Miss Yan Yang, I wanted to relieve you from here immediately, it was Doctor Xue Nuan's decision to not to let you go. Be thankful for her generosity."
Zi Zexian walked towards him room leaving the devastated Yan Yang in the hallway.
Yan Yang took an off from work and headed to home. She was shattered into pieces. she didn't act on her own, she got a call from unknown number and that person suggested to act this way. she was disappointed with herself now for her misjudged behavior.
she received the call from the same unknown number.
"Doctor Yan Yang, you are such disappointment. You couldn't do simple task so easily."
Yan Yang was boiling with anger after hearing those words.
"Because of you, I was about to lose my career I had worked hard so far."
" I just asked you to avoid the risky surgery, that too for your own benefit." Unknown caller said
"Shut up, never call me again." Yan Yang didn't have any patience to handle anything now.

Li Quan was sitted outside the Operation Theatre. She didn't move from the place. Mrs.Li and her son Li Zedong was also there. Li Zedong is not emotional like his mother, he knows not to burn Bridges and suffer later. He is a great diplomat. He can speak and convince anyone but not his little sister.
"Little sister, you look so pale. Can we go have quick snack. "
Li Quan looked at her brother. Her mother always told her not to trust him.
"Sorry Brother Zedong, I am not feeling like having anything. "
"Okay, take this small blanket, it's getting dark and might be cold sooner. I will go drop mother at home and come back soon okay."
She took it since she was already feeling very cold. she wrapped herself like ball on the chair.
Li Zedong left with his mother. Though he said that he will come back, he was not planning to do so. he has more pending work at his office. he can probably come by only in the morning.

The Surgery was going in full swing. Xue Nuan was being extremely careful. It has already been five hours, but still a long way to go. She made the Nurses and doctors go on a break for 5 minutes each. Xue Nuan can't afford to move for a single second since, it's a open skull surgery. The hardest part is to locate the blood clot inside, so she took her time and did the surgery with a steady pace. Her team was extra vigilant in working by looking at her technique and dedication.

Liu Huang came back to hospital looking for Xue Nuan. Zi Zexian didn't communicate about the incident to anyone not even to Mother Zi. Liu Huang didn't get answers from the emergency section, so she came straight to Zi Zexian room.
He was about to go to his scheduled Minor Surgery. He was shocked to see Liu Huang entering his room without even a knock on the door.
"Miss Liu Huang, this is not a house, I don't have to be polite to you. Do you have any manners left with you. how can you enter my space without permission."
Liu Huang didn't hear anything he said, she ignored him and went straight into her issue.
"Doctor Zi Zexian, I want to know the where about of Doctor Xue Nuan. this is not my house, but from this morning, I m the Head of Hospital administration. I need answers quickly, I can't waste my time on your petty fights."
He tightened his fists, But he didn't want to be irrational like previously at home. He replied
" Doctor Xue Nuan is currently at surgery. "
"Then why didn't you inform anyone about it. please tell me where it is taking place, I will scrub and go myself to assist them."
"why should you go, you are a child specialist, not brain surgeon." He made fun of her.
"I m not going to assist her in surgery, I will go inside to keep her hydrated, so that she can do surgery without any issue. If you have arranged already for that, I will not go?" from the look on his she knows that he didn't think about it.
"Okay, she is level 4, I will ask nurse stationed there to help you out. I have to leave now for surgery, so take care by yourself." Zi Zexian was handling the ruckus, so he forgot about it completely. No wonder his mom praises Liu Huang as a good administrator.
Liu Huang was surprised by his sudden change in attitude. she didn't want to waste time analysing his each words or behavior. she quickly went on Level 4 , asked the nurse for electrolyte. She scrubbed herself and went in.
It was not a peaceful scenario inside, The patient pulse was going very low and he was having a slight seizure. Xue Nuan immediately asked the nurse to inject a medicine on the tube. Slowly, it became to normal. Liu Huang waited for the patient to settle down and came closer to Xue Nuan. She just inserted straw into Xue Nuan's mouth. Xue Nuan felt little relieved after that, her fatigue was troubling her. Still Xue Nuan didn't lift her eyes away from the patient.

After two hours Zi Zexian finished his surgery, changed his clothes and came to Level 4. He spotted a nurse in the nurse station. Seeing him coming over, the nurse bowed in respect.
"Nurse , Why are you outside. has the surgery ended already.?"
"No Doctor, Doctor Liu Huang is giving us a break of half an hour to each person except Doctor Xue Nuan."
Zi Zexian was surprised about that he walked towards the corridor. He spotted some Li Quan rolled like a ball. He asked one of his assistant to get some things and went closer to her.
"Xiao Quan, Are you okay dear? why are you sitting like this?"
" Brother Zexian, I am not able to stop thinking about my Father, I have lost my mother already. now my father is in the critical condition."
He hugged from the side
"See, don't complicate your emotions. your mom's loss can't be taken back. But we still have hope for your father. so be positive Xiao Quan."
His assistant came and gave him the couple of bags and left. Doctor Yan Yang who went home came back since she was feeling restless. She came to Level 4 for rounds. She saw assistant giving something to Zi Zexian.
Zi Zexian stood up and pulled Li Quan out of the blanket. She hugged him immediately like a child. He embraced her in a bear hug and said
"Now be a good girl and change your clothes. with this dress, it looks some Cinderella lost her and turned up in the hospital."
She laughed at his teasing forgetting her pain. she took the clothes to change.
When Li Quan came back, he had set some bowls. He made her sit and started feeding some clear soup and then some porridge.
Yan Yang was completely lost in the position. Zi Zexian feeding some girl. This guy never looked at any girl before, looking at the way he was dotting her, she must be someone special. Yan Yang felt like someone hit her heart with big hammer. it's not all fair to break young heart like this.
