Chapter 56 problems and more problems

Tsk.

"*COUGH COUGH* To think that she would summon a hundred more to this location."

Mikhail growled mentally while looking at the mess around him with his remaining eye.

Corpses littered the area around him.

The remaining survivor relished the piece of a forearm she managed to snatch from the others.

The dead weren't something that he had made but rather the stupidity of a goddess that was irrational enough to fight her own incarnations for his mangled body parts.

It was a hilarious sight for the psychic when he saw that very scene as the incarnations went as far as killing each other out of greed and lust for the pieces.

It just comes to show just how broken she had become.

Who knows.

Maybe Mikhail will be able to manipulate her soon to later.

Regardless there was little of what Mikhail could do right now.

What remained of him was but half of his head with his brain still intact.

The vitality of this avatar was quite something, even after making himself explode while taking some of them out of the picture.

Mikhail had GREATLY underestimated what this body could handle, and even now, it was trying to repair itself.

Then again, that was part of the spec he tried to add into this incomplete avatar.

The good thing about this was the amount of data he had collected, so there would be an upgraded version of the avatar if he had the time and resources to make one.

He'd be grinning if he could right now.

However, the psychic's current state wouldn't allow that.

The surviving incarnation wouldn't give him that chance either.

Once Idyll finished eating what she had with her, there was no doubt in the psychic's mind that she'll come crawling to this last piece before leaving the world for a while.

That was the weakness of higher beings.

It was possible to descend for a while, but after that, it was almost impossible to descend so soon unless she was willing to give something up.

...She's going to do it when given a chance, no doubt about that.

Mikhail mentally cursed at himself for trying to satisfy an urge at this time, when he could've saved him some time to do something more substantial, which was hunting down Idyll's main church, but there was still some good that came with this.

He looked toward the disfigured and bloodied woman crawling toward him while using the bloody stump of an arm to drag herself closer to him.

The crazed look of yearning and hunger made the psychic roll his eye before finally abandoning the avatar.

The incarnation giggled disturbingly while trying to 'reach' to what remained of the psychic's avatar, but the head crumbled to dust once she reached mere inches away.

*AAAAHHHHHHHH-----------------!*

She shrieked so loudly at the sudden loss before laughing out loud.

There was one thing that Mikhail failed to consider...

What if she didn't leave the incarnation?

What would happen if she empowered it even more to recover and begin her skin crawling search for the object of her obsession?

That was a snowball of danger level Thirteen out of ten!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

The psychic took control of his body, a rather unexpected soldier, wearing armor made from psychic metal, was kneeling nearby as he got out of the nutrient chamber.

Short, mop-styled hair, purple eyes, sharp masculine features, this man was his best lasher tank driver Boye.

While nothing of his appearance had changed, other than Boye's hair, his psychic energy had grown tremendously.

It was one of the effects of mastering a psychic ability to the extremes.

Boye often got sent to the front lines with his ATC, short for armored terror carrier.

That behemoth of a weapon made Mikhail's moves toward a particular area relatively easy, especially with the recent task he had given Boye.

But given that he had brought his control over his powers to extreme levels, Boye won't be needed the device to support his abilities any longer.

"I take it that the mission was a success?"

Mikhail asked the kneeling general of the armored division.

"Yes, we managed to mine the area and clear the devil hills of all bandit activities."

Boye answered with pride, but the troubled look on his face that followed made his master curious.

He didn't always scan the minds of his people every time they came to him, especially when it'd make things boring, and it would be impossible for them to betray him with all of the 'insurances' they had been given.

"What seems to be the problem?"

Boye tilted his head to one side, unsure of how he could explain his problem...

So he just went with what he understood.

"While slaying the bandits, we managed to discover over a thousand women and children who were either used as relief or the kids of the bandits, that and a strange young girl that goes by Anna is being insistent on me becoming her knight..."

This was rather intriguing for Mikhail as he wanted to hear more.

Out of the hundreds of transitions he had gone through, none of his men ever got married...

So this would be an interesting experiment.

"Oh? Where is the girl now?"

Boye immediately replied.

"The girl is currently with Lady Gamma at the new outpost placed on the devil hills."

Mikhail smiled with a few plans in mind.

"Here are your new orders. You are to accept the offer and become Anna's knight! Serve her loyally. Earn her and her family's trust until I call for you, Is that understood?"

Given that he no longer required the vehicle to use his powers to the fullest, that would make it easier for him to blend in as the experiment occurs while saving him as a possible card behind the scenes.

Boye bowed deeply before leaving, as Mikhail had already projected a few other things into the ever-loyal general's mind.

"Urd, I have a task for you."

A small creature fell from the ceiling and landed on Mikhail's shoulder.

It had been watching over him like a protective child who wanted to act as a shield when needed and seek attention as one would.

The bat had undergone a lot of changes.

Increased intelligence, durability, and strength were just some of the minor things compared to its primary focus as a silent killing machine.

Sound effects of a specific frequency and amplifying it would turn hundreds of brains into mush if they lacked the natural protection that all of the psychic units under Mikhail had.

"I want you to help accelerate our plans of taking over the united kingdom, and you are to eliminate all who are opposing Eve while following her commands."

The Bat deflated like a child that was going to school for the first time.

The psychic scratched the back of its ear to soothe it before adding.

"Do well, and I'll give you more friends to play with when you get back!"

Urd screeched in delight upon hearing this.

It had been feeling lonely, and Mikhail knew that.

The psychic already had a few things done to provide it with companions that will grow alongside it.

But there was another reason for him sending the deadly bat.

Mikhail had been getting some ominous feelings about the United kingdom.

Urd was going to be part of his insurance to secure the location.

As the Bat flew away, the psychic had come to a decision.

"Computer, notify all hands that we'll be enacting phase 4N9. Since Idyll was in this world, other old enemies will likely be included!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------

In a dark cavern, a distorted voice called out.

"Are you there, Epsilon?"

A pale woman with long ears, platinum hair tied in a bun, blue eyes, and breath-taking beauty had emerged from the shadows wearing a large cloak.

"I am here, Mr. Y."

"Good, I am happy to inform you that the time has come. and my allies had finally arrived."

The distorted voice added with apparent glee in the tone.

"Just give me your instructions, like before, and I'll follow them to a T."

Epsilon reassured the man before shuddering for a moment as her eyes glowed with hatred directed at someone far from here.

Mr. Y chuckled before continuing.

"When they start the plans, that will be when you get what you want when you finally eliminate the one who took our planets, homes, and loved ones from us!"

The woman struggled to keep herself there, to stay... sane.

Like what was said earlier, her world had been erased from existence by some foreign 'god.'

After so long, they finally found a trace of the said god on this planet!

All of the new arrivals were fellow sympathizers who had also lost their worlds, with Mr. Y. being someone who lost his whole universe.

Their target happens to be a particular individual in this world.

Someone that we all know too well about now.

The man whom they believe to be the FINAL surviving incarnation of the God of many names.

Mikhail Dubynin.
