The accident

His WIFE

Tang Su was walking in the cafeteria while holding a cup of coffee, she felt something amiss and thought of Zhang Han. She accidentally dropped the cup and clutch her heart, she felt nervous and unsettled.

Director Fang walk up to her.

"Miss Tang, are you okay? I'll help you to the clinic. Someone called the janitor to clean this. Come here let me help you."

"Ma'am, I am sorry to trouble you. I'm okay let me make a call, I just felt that something wrong happened. Thank you! Please excuse me."

Tang Su walked away and made her way to her office. She found her phone and dialed Zhang Han number a few times, but her call can't get through. She is now more nervous. She takes a deep breath to calm herself, maybe she is paranoid. Tang Su thought that maybe Zhang Han is still in the meeting room and his phone was powered off. With that she returned to her work a little uncertain.

The guards help the unconscious Zhang Han out of the car. They also caught the injure driver who accidentally smashed his head on the steering wheel of the car who purposely crashed to Zhang Han's car.

Zhang Han was sent to the emergency room of the private hospital immediately.

Assistant Ron arrive shortly.

"Tell me what happened!" He barked into the guards, he is afraid that Zhang Han was hit hard.

The guard stand up greeting Assistant Ron.

"Sir, a car suddenly crashed into Master's car that make the car flipped over. We took the driver for interrogation. He's in the car unconscious with the four men who guard him waiting for you."

"How is CEO Zhang condition when you sent him here?"

"Sir was unconscious when we take him out of the car, but nothing is serious. We are still waiting for the doctor's report."

"I understand, I will inform his family. I'll be in the hallway, call me if the doctor's out." Assistant Ron is so worried on how will his family react in this. He takes a deep breath before dialing father Zhang's number.

"Hello, Assistant Ron." Father Zhang wonder why Assistant Ron will call him during this hour. They were supposed to be in the meeting.

"Sir, CEO Zhang was hit in a car accident and still in the emergency room as we speak." Assistant Ron wait for father Zhang response.

Father Zhang knees felt weak. He took a seat at the nearby sofa. This is the first time that Zhang Han met an accident, and he was sure that it was Gao Fuchen.

"How? How is he? How did this happened?"

"They crashed his car on the way to the hotel. The driver was caught and ready for interrogation. I guess that Gao Fuchen plan it well and order someone to follow CEO Zhang after leaving the company building."

"Ron, check everything around you for safety measure. I will send more people to guard Zhang Han. Don't mention it to Tang Su, I will try to talk to her. Tell me if there is an update, I will make an arrangement." Father Zhang ended the call still unable to grasp the situation Zhang Han was in. He can't believe that this will happen to him.

Mother Zhang saw father Zhang in a stupor state, she went beside him and try to comfort him without knowing the reason.

"Honey, what's wrong? I'm here, tell me what happen. You are holding your phone tight and in daze."

Father Zhang look at his wife and look around for Tang Su and realized that she is in the office.

"Please calm yourself whatever I am about to say." He take a deep breath and hold his wife shoulder.

"Zhang Han met a planned car accident. He is in the emergency room up till now. Assistant Ron just informed me a minute ago."

Mother Zhang is now shaking. She is crying hard, worried about his son.

"He's been the CEO for the past 10 years and none of this happen to him. The Gao family is definitely a tough case. I will call Zhang Fan to check him at Japan. We can't visit him, Tang Su is with us. I want you to keep it from Tang Su, I didn't want to worry her. We must know his condition first." Father Zhang tried to make mother Zhang strong for his son and for Tang Su who is in their care.

Mother Zhang is sobbing hard. She is worried about his son safety. She knows what the Gao Family is up to all this year. She just can't believe that this kind of thing will happen to his son.

"Calm yourself honey. Don't show this kind of face to Tang Su. Let me call Fan. Please rest." Father Zhang made some arrangement and inform Zhang Fan about the situation. Zhang Fan decide to fly to Japan at night to check Han.

A Doctor went out of emergency room. Assistant Ron and the guards stand up, and face the doctor.

"The patient is fine. He just suffered a mild concussion, his body though suffered a huge blow and sore all over. A shard of glasses scraps his body, we already cleaned his wound. I made a full body check up and notice nothing unusual. The patient is fine, he is being sent to his private room for recovery, he might be awake now."

"Thank you doctor." Assistant Ron was relief that nothing serious happen.

"Sir, CEO Zhang is fine now. He suffered a mild concussion and is wounded from the shard of glass. His body is beaten from the impact but nothing serious." Assistant Ron again inform father Zhang.

"Thank you, Ron. Let us know if anything went wrong." Father Zhang was relief and so is Mother Zhang.

Zhang Han woke up and notice that his body is sore all over and in bandages. His head hurt like a crap, it is throbbing in pain.

He remembered the car accident, he knows that it wasn't a simple accident, but it was planned.

How dare that Gao Fuchen do this to him. He will make sure to make him pay. But at this moment he needs to call his wife not to make her worried.

Right on time Assistant Ron walk inside Zhang Han's room. Before Ron could speak Zhang Han beat him.

"Ron, give me your phone. I need to call my wife, she is expecting my call."

Assistant Ron understand what he meant. Tang Su would be worried if he didn't make his call now, it is almost now way past Tang Su's office hour ends.

Assistant Ron lend his phone and decide to get him another phone.

"Hello?" Tang Su answered the call without recognizing the number.

"Sweetheart it's me." Zhang Han voice rang on the other line. Tang Su felt relief hearing his voice.

"I didn't recognize the number. What happened to your phone? I tried to call you earlier but I can't reach you." Tang Su's worried voice can be heard on the other line.

Zhang Han was right, Tang Su would be worried if he didn't call her for a day.

"I lost my phone after the meeting. I ask Assistant Ron to get me another one. I am using his phone for the meantime. I just call to check if how is your day?"

"I am fine. Mother cook our food today. I am thinking why not get us a maid to help your mother, I didn't want to impose on her. She always did the chores alone, I felt ashamed." Tang Su is worried that Mother Fang would get tired from household chores.

"Mother just want to move all day. She didn't want to sit all day and do nothing, just let her."

"But still…."

"No buts' sweetie, just let her be. I'll be back on Friday."

Zhang Han wants to talk to her more but his head is now spinning.

"Sweetheart I have to go. I need to meet the clients. I call you again."

"Okay, take care."

"Ron, call the doctor." Zhang Han almost faint from dizziness. His head is throbbing but didn't want to let his Tang Su know his situation. He didn't want to get her worried. He is clutching his head hard from so much pain.
