Chapter 4:On the way to attain a successful life

In the last chapter, we read about the adolescent period. Let us now adjust the camera a little distant trying to look a bit ahead on to the next stage. More or less, everyone gets job especially those who are in metropolitan cities. The employers nowadays act smarter by hiring young blood professionals. Well, to curtail the matter, we all have jobs and we have somehow become monotonous, it feels like repetition of the same action on everyday basis because there's a very limited things to learn. When someone joins a company especially if its a private company then he/she remains so enthusiastic that it takes nearly a month or two to have a strong command over work else they know they would be replaced by more capable people. Such an early command over works somehow brings a sense of monotonous nature because once you're done with learning it, the company takes you as an expert and keep using your skills and expertise over the same work. Apart from the cruel business and business oriented companies who literally hire slaves insted of employees; let us now talk about our personal mindset. Every living being existing on earth somewhere remains discontent regarding every single thing whether it be a job, or his own life.

Zooming closer into mindsets, have we ever happened to meet someone who always says.. Yar, ye kaisi zindagi hai? (what an awful life!) or arey yar, is job me kya rakha hai? (no fun in this job) or something like, meri zindagi to bekar hai! (my life is meaningless).

And the most uncanny matter is, we always feel that the life of the beholder is far way better than us. On the contrary, the beholder also thinks the same. Sarcastic! Isn't it?

Well, that's our nature by default. We can't actually help it.

Turning back to the topic, I wonder if you have ever noticed but I have experienced people complaining a lot about their situations. For those who are working under private companies keeps complaining that government sectors are the best option but they are allergic to government schools and hospitals. I mean, seriously? How can one be so stupidly selfish? On the other side, people working in government sectors are like, 'sab kuch hai par phir bhi chaen nahi hai' (we have everything except peace) this is for the ones who are working at a junior level. But as for the seniors, they're more like kings in a democratic Republic. No offence just a comparison used as to illustrate better. I rather should use the proverb 'grass is always green on the other side of the river'. This fits appropriately.

The next trait in this queue is those who are totally dissatisfied with their life. One common monologue from their side is.. 'Kaisi ajeeb life hai yar?' (such an uncanny life). Whenever I happen to hear this sentence it reminds me of a very famous British poet William Shakespeare who once said, "I was once crying for a pair of shoes that I demanded from my parents but they didn't provide me at that time. I cried and went out, while walking down the street, I saw a man with no legs, and then I realised the meaning of life as I had legs" these lines indicate us to be thankful always under any circumstances.

Actually the thing is, we don't realise that what we have or what we are matters a lot. We're all unique in our ways and that must not be forgotten.

We all face such situations and people on daily basis. Some of us manage to overcome these obstacles by strengthening our determination and being firm to our goals whereas some who fail to be firm and determined fails to overcome such obstacles.

Humans are so complicated, when you are jobless, your relatives are all after you whether to tease or to de motivate but once you have everything and you stand strong with a handsome salary everyone kneels down before you. I have noticed that their reaction and perspective changes so drastically that even the person himself thinks.. What just happened???? Well, that's life! No one actually cares. It's all about being established.

I have seen parents who just get influenced by the relatives even without knowing that it's a conspiracy. Even though our parents are like "sahi to keh rahe hai" (they're right! ). Unfortunately there are parents who doesn't even feel the existence of their ward until he/she holds a job. Amazingly, once those wards get a good job, the parents are more like disciples to him/her, valuing and nodding to everything he/she says, no matter whether it's logical or illogical.

Human psychology is indeed one of the most complicated thing. One never understands when the sheets under him are taken away or when suddenly a red carpet is laid under his feet.

I don't know whether these situations would ever change or not but yes, one thing that we can do for sure is to be determined and content and let no one shatter our dreams and motivation. As Gandhiji said, "Be the change that you want to see around you. You can't change the world but can change yourself for sure".
