Snooping

Chu Ye looked at the address Ruoxi had sent him, 89 Dragon Garden, Culture Road. Matching it with the one in front of him, Chu Ye walked in, he didn't want to move, he liked his apartment, though not big and luxurious, it was home and there's no place like it, after many years of traveling and wandering, Chu Ye had come to love the term. Ruoxi insisted though and being the good husband that he was, he gave in, not at all did the thought of seeing Ruoxi in her pajamas play a part in it, no sir.

The scenery was brilliant, clear water and lush green grass surrounded villas too big for any normal family, or so Chu Ye thought. Ringing the doorbell, a few seconds hadn't yet passed when it opened and Chu Ye was met with an elderly woman who looked too young for her age.

'Since when do mortals age this well.' Chu Ye thought slyly.

The elderly woman scrutinized the man in front of her for a second, then realization struck her as she smiled widely,

"You must be Young master, come in, come in. Miss told me you were coming."

The woman said happily, as she made way for Chu Ye.

Chu Ye returned her smile as he walked in,

"And you must be Wang Ma, Ruoxi told me a lot about you."

He glanced at the interior, the walls were white like those in a hospital,

'Suits her personality I guess.'

a Few oil paintings were up here and there, but it all seemed so bland to him.

"Really?" Wang Ma smiled happily hearing that Ruoxi had talked about her, "I hope it's not all bad." she joked.

"Nothing but love." Chu Ye returned simply.

Wang Ma's smile only grew wider with Chu Ye's compliments, she already liked him. She was a bit taken aback by Ruoxi's sudden decision to let a man live in the house, and hearing that it was her husband, Wang Ma had nearly broken her jaw from shock. She had never seen her Young Miss show any interest towards men, so she was suspicious of this sudden 'husband', but her Young Miss was smart, she wouldn't jump into things she wasn't sure about. And now seeing the supposed 'husband' Wang Ma was very pleased, he was handsome, well-dressed and polite, though she would need to spend time with him further to see if he was good for her Young Miss.

"Young Master please come this way, Miss has already sorted out your room for you."

Wang Ma led him up the stairs towards a door at the far end of the hallway, Chu Ye walked in and took in the sight before him. The same white as the rest of the house, a curved 50" tv adorned the wall and across from it stood a king-sized bed neatly made. Chu Ye glanced at the corner where a computer stood, from what he could see, it was a very basic office desktop, he would have to change that soon.

"Young Miss even took the time to buy clothes for Young Master, It's all there in the closet."

Chu Ye walked towards the closet an opened it, hanging neatly in front of him were designer shirts, all different in style and color, he would have to change that too.

"The room is right across from Young Miss' room, so Young Master, is it to your liking?"

Done looking around, Chu Ye just answered simply,

"It's good Wang Ma." It was good, but not great, though that didn't matter, Chu Ye didn't plan to stay here long.

"I'm glad you like it, now Young Master is there anything else you need?"

"No I'm fine Wang Ma, I'll spend some time familiarizing myself with the house if that's alright?"

"Of course Young Master, I'll be downstairs, if you need anything, just call."

Chu Ye waited till she was downstairs, then he opened the door right across from his room. As soon as he entered, the faint smell of Jasmine hit him, the same as Ruoxi's. He glanced around and smiled at the sight before him, unlike the rest of the house, the walls in this room were all pink, attesting to the childishness Ruoxi hid inside of her. There were bookshelves on each side of the room, and in the middle of it, stood a huge king-sized bed, surrounded with linen curtains. He walked towards the bed and pushed the curtains to the side, a huge fluffy bear greeted him, It's smiling face attesting to the wonders it must have seen while staying here. Chu Ye held the bear up and had a funny thought,

'Cuckolded by Winnie the Pooh.'

Done with his musings he threw the bear down, a little too roughly, and walked towards the bookshelves. Dostoyevsky, Sun Tzu, Maya Angelou, E.L James(50 Shades of grey)... looks like he found an odd one between them. Done "familiarizing" himself, Chu Ye walked out, closing the door behind him he thought about what he should bring over from his place.

"Piano, PC, a few guitars... and booze."

Putting his thoughts into actions, he called a moving company and had his bar's manager take care of the rest, she knew his tastes well so he put faith in her choice of alcohol.

"Now, what to do until Ruoxi arrives..."
