"Aren't we going to get in trouble? How did you get my fake ID? Did you make it? What time are we going? Are we really going to do this?"

Z laughed at her questions instead of answering them which infuriated Sav more. "I can see what Leo means."

"You guys talked about me?" She asked incredulously.

"Of course we talked about you. I mean look at you, if I have that face and body, I'll walk around nake---"

"Stop! You're embarrassing." Sav covered her face with her hands.

He shuffled her hair and chuckled. "Let's get you dressed up for the occasion."

They went to a high end store and she was immediately dragged to the dressing room. Z picked out the outfit for her which she thought was too tight, disregarding the vocal amazement of the salesladies.

In the end she put the black backless dress on, afraid that Z would make her wear one of the strapless dresses she saw on the mannequins.

"This dress reveals my back too much," she complained to Zayden revealing the dress to him.

He gulped before running his eyes up and down. "No, it's perfect." He quickly put up his phone and snapped a picture of her.

"What did you just do?"

"I'm sending it to Leo," he snickered.

"Don't!" Sav began to run towards him barefooted.

"Too late, sent."

Sav tried to snatch his phone away when it suddenly rang.

They both looked at the caller and was surprised to see the person of the receiving end.

"Yo," Z greeted Leo and winked at Sav whose cheeks burned bright red. "Yeah, don't worry," he laughed while nodding. "Yep, ahuh. Dude, come home soon." Then the call ended.

"What did he say?"

"You don't want to know," he said then smiled playfully at her.

Sav raised her hands up in frustration. "I give up."

The ride to the club was fast and easy. Z told her that there will be a lot of people but he will try his best to remember what happened the night when he lost his bag and track the people he met. Meanwhile her task is to watch his surroundings and try to spot any suspicious looking suspects. It would be hard since he has a sexy ass as Z said but Z trusted her womanly instincts to differentiate lust from murder.

The burly bouncer let Z come in first, seeming to remember him as a regular customer but stopped her. She quickly showed her ID and after a few scrutinizing looks and flirty glances, he let her in.

"You're a natural," Z commented while smirking.

"I have a few tricks in the bag." Sav licked her lips. She hoped her nervousness wasn't obvious to the drunken eyes.

"Relax and enjoy the music. Let's get a drink for you." He guided her through the throes of people and blasting club music. After Z's constant high fives and quick exchanges with his happy hour friends they finally got to the bar.

"One margarita please," she said, sighing. "Focus Z. We're not here to have fun."

"I know but I can't just ignore them. That would be suspicious. Also right now we're supposedly in a date."

Sav almost choked on her drink. "W-what?"

"I know but people are like that. They won't believe me if I said we're just friends especially when you look like this."

Sav sighed once again. "Right now, I really don't care anymore but words of our break up go out, I'm the one who dumped you."

Z smiled. "I would but then people would think I'm lying."

Sav glared at him and downed her drink in one go. "This is a mistake. I don't even know what I'm doing here. Everyone is having fun on their own, looking all lusty. My parents are going to kill me and no, not because they're not against clubbing. I promised my first time clubbing would be with them."

"Wow, cool parents, too bad you're not a club virgin anymore" Z said then chuckled. "Like I said relax, I'm pretty sure I'm being spotted right now by my enemies."

And he was right. Sav scanned the dark room and saw a few glares coming from different directions.

"You sure made an entrance."

He winked. "See, my plan's already working." He turned towards the dancing area. "I'll show my pretty face once more and come back."

"Okay, be careful."

Sav concentrated harder at her and Z's surroundings, consistently but stealthily scanning around the vicinity. Several minutes later, Z was a few meters away from her when he did the sign—a gesture of him fake yawning while pumping up one of his fists. Her eyes immediately zeroed at the petite woman's back with ashen hair who seemed to be in a continuous rapport with him.

Out of a sudden, the woman tipped her toes and kissed him. Alarmed, Sav got out from her seat only to see Z dazed and whirling himself halfway. Sav caught him before he fell to his face.

"Z, hey, are you okay?" She looked around for the woman but she was gone.

Z looked at her funnily then smiled. "Hey, you're pretty. Sleep with me?"

"Z, it's me Savannah. What happened? What did she say?"

Before he could answer there was a loud gunshot and the music suddenly turned up a notch. There was a scream and blades were quickly drawn from their satchels. Sav saw two suspicious men from her north and south, walking towards her and Z. Most importantly, their form was in assassin mode, their blades pointing down, ready to stab.

With a useless Z in her arms, she racked her brains for a way out. Think Sav, you're obviously at a disadvantage but you can outrun them. Look around and see what you can use. You have two minutes.

Then she saw it and it was as if her prayer was heard. Near her left was a fire alarm. She quickly slumped Z down by the bar then ran to the wall. Punching it hard, she didn't care the blood that sipped down her fist.

The siren alarmed. Sav went back to drag Z out of the chaos. The myriad of clubbers groaned as water showered at their drunken states. Sav took a quick look back at her perpetrators but they were gone.
