Confrontation

What do you get if you're a door that doesn't open early enough for Achille when she's pissed. I'll tell you ... you get kicked across the room with such force you get lodged into the wall. Achille stomped her way to the elevator and punched the desired level in. The elevator seemed to learn from it's door friend and it felt like it went slightly faster than normal. The door opened and Achille continued her her self-set mission: Find and interrogate Aniello.

She arrived at his room and slammed her hand on the door repeatedly until the door was finally opened by a shocked Aniello. Achille grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and held him up off the floor.

"WHAT DID YOU DO!?" she yelled. Aniello could barely speak from the shock but Achilles took it as he wasn't going to talk that easily. She threw into the wall on the other side of his room and closed the door behind herself as she didn't want to be disturbed. Aniello was laying on his side in pain as Achille took off her mask and walked over to him. "I won't ask again Aniello. What did you do and what are you hiding from me!?" Achille grabbed Aniello by the throat hard enough to make breathing difficult but soft enough that she could still get him to talk. She held him against the wall and brought her face close to his as if she was scanning every drop of sweat and tears to find the truth.

"W-what do you ... mean!?" Aniello struggled to get the words out due to the tight grip around his airway. His legs kicked about but simply bounced off the yellow, mesh barrier that surrounded Achille and his hands were holding onto Achille's arm in hopes of it somehow helping him to gain freedom from her grip.

"I've just come back from visiting Charlie! Her future sight has shown her that you have betrayed me and that you're hiding something! So tell me what it is and I might just let you live after beating you into a BLOODY PILE OF TRASH!" yelled Achille. The walls shook in fear from the volume and truth behind the words. Aniello couldn't take much more. He had to tell her the truth.

"I saved a girl from some soldiers on Hagtury! She somehow got into the observation ship's storage compartment and came back to the ship with us! I found her but couldn't live with myself if I sent her back to that terrible place!" Achille dropped Aniello to the floor.

"Where is she now?"

"In the supply closet connected to the landing bay." Achille put out a hand to help Aniello up. He took it and stood up.

"Thank you for telling me this." A mighty punch to the side of the head sent Aniello back down to the floor. "That's just the beginning of your year long sentence of beatings."

Achille called for some soldiers to come collect Aniello and search the supply closet in landing bay d-248. Two soldier came into Aniello's room minutes later and Achille put her mask back on. The soldiers grabbed one of Aniello's arms each and dragged him behind Achille on their way to the landing bay.

Once the elevator doors opened to the landing bay, Aniello looked up and saw dozens of armed guards watching as three other soldiers carried out the girl who was thrashing around wildly like a wild animal caught in a net. Achille signalled for Aniello to be stood in front of the girl who was restrained and placed kneeling on the floor. Aniello made eye contract with her and the look of fear and sadness in her eyes made Aniello want to curl up and disappear. Achille pulled a gun out of a soldier's hands and thrust it into Aniello's.

"Want to prove your loyalty to our army? Want to make sure your father doesn't have to pay for your mistake?" Achille gestured to the girl. "Then kill her." The girl pleaded for mercy as Aniello look from the gun to the girl. He gripped the handle and pointed at the girl's head. His hand was shaking so much the gun would nearly always point somewhere other than the girl. Achille stepped in, grabbed the barrel of the gun, and thrust it into the head of the girl pulling Aniello along with it. It was now impossible for Aniello to miss by accident. He closed his eyes...

... and pulled the trigger. 'Click'.

Aniello opened his eyes and saw the girl was just as confused as he was. Achille took the gun from him and put it to her own head. She pulled the trigger a few times but it was a dud. She gestured to the soldiers again who grabbed Aniello by the arms again and dragged him backwards to the elevator. Just as the elevator began to close Achille snapped her fingers and a soldier fired their weapon. The girl's eyes went empty and she collapsed onto the floor looking at Aniello before the doors finally closed.

They reopened at the command bridge and Aniello was marched over to the control panel at the front of the bridge. The ship suddenly accelerated to a ridiculous speed for something it's size and stopped above a green and blue planet. Suddenly, loud static filled the room as a transmission came in. It was a man saying "Send backup, I've found her." before it was suddenly cut off.

"Are we able to sent someone down to Kalro's location?" asked Achille to the crew on the bridge.

"Yes, but we'd need to take down a shield surrounding the area first." replied one member of crew. Achille walked over to the control panel and pushed a member of crew out of the way by pulling their chair back and sending them sliding across the floor. She then pressed some buttons and a robotic voice began to speak.

"Cannons charged and ready to fire." Achille turned to Aniello and pulled him over to the panel.

"Care to do the honours? All you have to do is press this button." Achille pointed to a button on the panel. "And this time the weapon is very real." Aniello moved his hand over the button and slammed his finger down onto it. Achille smiled as the sound of the cannons charging and firing was heard across the ship. "Send me down there. And take this piece of trash down to cell 9356." A flash of light consumed Achille as the final projectile from the cannons hit it's mark. Aniello was then dragged off once more into the elevator to wonder what civilisation her had just caused the destruction of this time.
