Ishizu POV
My head hurt as I came back to consciousness after being knocked unconscious by Shifu. And would you look at that? The first thing that, or rather who greeted me, was an angry-looking red panda staring daggers at me.
"You should build up your inner peace. It's lacking." I couldn't help but comment with a smirk on my face.
"Let me get one thing straight. I don't like you, human." Shifu only scoffed as he turned away from me.
"I have a name, 'Master' Shifu. I don't call you an animal. Also, you don't have to like me. You didn't like Po when he was announced as the Dragon Warrior. I haven't come here by my own intentions."
I wouldn't let him speak to me like that pissy Tiger. I had my pride and earned respect as any other living being. Be it human or animal.
"Respect you say? I have seen how you fight. Those seals you used on Tigress show how much of a fighter you are and how much respect I will show you."
I only rolled my eyes, thinking that I was a Shinobi and didn't have to fight fair. Those that fight for honor and fairness are the first to die by being deceived. That's why samurai weren't the strongest force.
I sat up and saw Oogway calmly drinking his tea. I took the cup in front of me and drank it.
It worked wonders, as the headache I had was gone. Amazing tea. Had to take the recipe home.
"Ignoring your student, I have to ask you if you can please tell me what I have to do so I can go back?"
"You have to do nothing." Shifu interrupted me, earning a glare.
"We have everything planned out to drive this man away, and we won't need the help of another human for this."
I returned the glare he was giving me. Don't you dare speak up when I am talking. Somebody clearly doesn't know what respect was.
"If I can go back doing nothing, I would take the chance. I just know Po would be severely disappointed and you are his master and friend, so I can't leave you. So maybe… maybe there is something I can do that will help."
Shifu only turned his head away, but Oogway nodded.
"You must find the rest of the Furious Five and reconnect them."
"Cool. Where do I find them?"
Oogway pointed his finger into the distance.
"Everyone is somewhere out there. Master Shifu will escort you to them," said Oogway, and I couldn't help but grin when I saw the face Shifu made.
Karma bitch!
"Fine, I will escort him," spoke Shifu, seemingly accepting his fate.
"Are you ready to go, or do I have to wait for you?" Shifu asked, and I jumped up.
"Lead the way, master Shifu," I bowed in respect, but he only frowned and left with me following close behind.
For the next 30 minutes, I was following him, and not even once did he glance behind him. He either knew I was keeping up or he simply didn't care.
We didn't talk and ran in silence and I was fine with it, but I was curious why he disliked me.
I was sure it wasn't only because of the lust seals I placed on Tigress. No, nobody on his level would get angry at such a petty thing. He was above such simple things.
No, the reason was much deeper.
"If you have a question, you can simply ask. I can see it on your face."
"Would you answer me?" I returned.
"You haven't tried."
Wow, he had an answer to anything I say.
"Well, hopefully, you can tell me why you dislike me so much. It can't be just because of my fight with Tigress. I know you hide something."
Suddenly Shifu stopped, causing me to jump close to him so that his eyes met mine.
"Because you humans only know how to destroy. Do you know where we are from?"
I nodded. Seeing that people like Po existed, I naturally tended to accept the theory that some worlds were connected. Questioning the how's and why's wouldn't earn you anything, so you'd go with the flow of things.
"But not all, since you would know what happened. Let me tell your ignorant self a story. After Po defeated Kai, our world entered a peaceful era. Sure, here and there were some bandits causing trouble, but all in all, it was peaceful. This peaceful time lasted 10 years until the first humans appeared.
We didn't know how, but it must have been through some dimensional portal appearing. Living 10 years in peace, nobody expected anything."
"Let me guess: Those humans weren't nice," I came to the most common conclusion about humans.
"No, nice isn't the word here. They were barbaric. Saw us as a food source or other things, such as wool for their hairless skin. Causing a lot of damage until a kung fu master got there.
Unlike you, those humans were physically weak. Pathetic. We easily dealt with the first group, but then came the next and next.
Although they were weak, humans had an advantage over us. You would call it technology. Those monsters wielded weapons more powerful than any master until Po came up with an idea.
He knew we stood no chance against such an opponent and so he used his powers to teleport everyone here. The spiritual world is endless. Here we can safely live away from humans like you," he spat the last sentence.
"But they still managed to enter and cause more harm. And now I, a human, have entered this realm, too. Yes, I understand you and I can't argue with that."
"Good. At least you understand that. Now stop asking questions and let's go."
General POV
Ishizu could see many animals living in self-made houses and they seem to enjoy their life. There weren't many important things to mention outside of a few buildings.
The only thing Ishizu noticed were the glances the people here gave him. Fear.
Shifu and Ishizu entered a dojo-looking house where they were greeted by a monkey.
"Master Shifu, it's nice to see you again. And... a human?" Monkey was confused and took out his staff to fight.
"Don't bother, Monkey. He is not a thread."
"O...k?"
"It is nice to meet another one of the Furious Five. Name's Ishizu and I am a student of Po."
Monkey's eyes widened, and he froze for a moment before he fell to the ground and rolled around while laughing.
"Oh, hahaha. W... wait, you mean to say you… you are really the student of Po?"
Ishizu sighed. Why must he repeat himself and why was it so hard to believe? Oh wait, they hated humans.
"Anyway, master Shifu, you came at the right moment. Mantis, Crane, and Viper came not long ago for a talk," explained Money, before we followed him inside the building.
A door to a room opened up, revealing a small table at which sat the rest of the Furious Five. Seeing a mantis, a viper, and a crane seated around a table while chatting, Ishizu could mark it in his book of weird things.
After explaining that Ishizu wasn't here to cause trouble, they reluctantly set down around the tree table to discuss the situation.
"I can't believe I am sitting with a human that isn't trying to kill me," Crane whispered to Viper, only to be overheard by Ishizu.
"I would lie if I said humans are peaceful, but we aren't savages. Not the once I know."
"While I can agree that you aren't a savage, Ishizu, I can't say it to others since I have fought those humans, and they weren't that friendly to me or the others," spoke Mantis.
"We had to retrieve here or the humans would have slaughtered us. What do you think would happen if we entered your world? Would the humans there leave us alone in peace?"
Viper's question was easily answered, as Ishizu could guess the reaction.
"No. No, they would try to find a way to control you as they did with the Bijuu. I doubt that there will be a time when humans can live in peace with other species.
Having said that, Ishizu laughed, earning him questionable glances.
"It's not like we humans have anything against you specifically. Humans fight everything that is against their individual beliefs. If there isn't anything else, then we even fight other humans. We had 3 Ninja World Wars with a fourth one coming closer and even before the was a time of constant battling."
"Wow, I didn't think you hate your species so much, Ishizu," commented Viper, causing Ishizu to frown.
"I do not hate my species. We can do as much good as we can do evil. It all depends on the person and the ones who raised him."
"Well, anyway, why are you two here?" asked Monkey.
"Po wasn't clear about that. He wanted me to 'help' and since you guys have a problem with humans, I believe he sent me here for this."
"How can you help us?" asked Mantis in disbelief and Ishizu smirked.
"Well, even with a handicap, I subdued Tigress."
The 4 were shocked to hear that Tigress had lost, but it was Shifu who shut them up before they could ask how.
"While I hate to admit it, you did defeat here. Still, those hideous things you used on here are not how somebody should fight. They certainly won't work on our foes."
Ishizu could only roll his eyes. In a battle, everything was allowed. All that mattered, in the end, was who came out alive. The victorious wrote history.
"Before we accept him I want to see it for myself how strong she is," spoke Monkey and the others nodded as well.
Each one of them was eager to fight a human that claimed to have defeated Tigress.
"So, do I have to fight you all together?" asked Ishizu before he turned his head toward Oogway, who mysteriously appeared next to him.
"Master Oogway?!" everyone was shocked to see the old turtles.
"You like being all mysterious, huh, old turtle?" Ishizu questioned the old turtles. Some troll he was.
"I do," Oogway returned a small smile.
While this conversation was being held, Ishizu thought about the upcoming battle again, the Furious Five.
He wanted to end this problem as soon as possible, but fighting four people who have fought side by side for years?
Hell, fighting Tigress alone was a pain in the ass, but fighting a group of people who had incredible teamwork? He wasn't ignorant to tell himself that he would lose.
"By fighting on equal terms."
Ishizu groaned at this statement.
"Don't speak in riddles, old turtle. Tell me straight what you want to do and we do it."
Silence.
"You should show respect to Master Oogway," scoffed Shifu, only for Oogway to chuckle-
"Good guy. So direct. To put it simply, we will split your soul."
Ishizu was drinking his tea when he spits it all out and looked at Oogway as if the old turtle was a crazy pale monster with no nose.
"You want to make a Horcrucks?"
"I am not informed about what a Horcrucks is," commented Oogway and after a brief explanation, the turtle shook its head.
"While it is similar to such a thing, I assure you it has nothing evil in it. We shall split your soul into 4. This process is harmless, painless and the soul will return back to its original form after a day," explained Oogway and Ishizu relaxed.
Everything soul related should be seen cautiously. He should know. Fuinjutsu was dangerous and a slight mistake can make a paper bomb explode earlier.
And while your body can heal, a single mistake and your soul would suffer, and healing a soul is much, much harder than a body. This was dangerous.
No wonder Ishizu was afraid of doing such a thing.
