Chapter 27 - Jian Bao (1) (Rev)

"Mom, please don't be like that. You know I can't tolerate someone like her trying to ruin my relationship with Ahjin."

"I understand, darling. At first, I noticed her showing interest in Ahjin. Then, when she saw you entering the shop, I saw her eyes filled with hatred. But I never imagined she'd act so foolishly," Xun Ruan explained, shaking her head.

"I know, Mom. I don't understand why some people are like that. They seem to be drawn to those who are already in a committed relationship," Xun Wei said, still holding onto Huang Jin and playfully teasing him.

After the incident at the shop, they continued selecting clothes, and the short-haired girl helped them along with Da Meng. Xun Wei also asked Da Meng to retrieve the clothes he had ordered the previous month.

Da Meng went to a wardrobe, took a set of keys from his pocket, and unlocked it. He brought out a two-suit bag and handed it to Xun Wei.

"Here, Boss Xun. It just arrived last week. Do you want to try them on?"

Xun Wei opened the garment bag, revealing a pair of black and white suits with a stand-in collar. The couple suits were intricately embroidered with golden silk threads in the form of a dragon. The dragon's eye was made of a diamond.

Xun Wei pulled Huang Jin to try the white suit and took the black suit for himself. Both went inside the dressing room to change. Xun Wei put down the clothes on the hook and stood in front of Huang Jin to help him into the suit.

"May I?" Xun Wei asked as he started to remove Huang Jin's clothing one by one. Huang Jin felt his heart racing as Xun Wei undressed him and dressed him in the suit. His ears turned red from nervousness, and his lips felt dry. Without thinking, he licked his parched lips.

Xun Wei was captivated by the sight of Huang Jin's pink lips with his tongue peeking out. He couldn't resist the temptation and leaned in, brushing his tongue lightly against Huang Jin's lower lip, seeking entrance.

Huang Jin tried to deny Xun Wei's advances, but Xun Wei persisted, moving down to his neck. A soft moan escaped Huang Jin's lips as Xun Wei nipped and sucked on his skin, leaving a lovebite just below his earlobe.

Feeling satisfied with his handiwork, Xun Wei's fingers continued their exploration, gently caressing the curve of Huang Jin's hip, while his other hand held his jaw with a tender touch. The atmosphere in the dressing room was filled with a mix of desire and affection as the couple shared an intimate moment together.

Xun Wei had an uncanny ability to weaken Huang Jin's legs with just a few kisses and well-placed touches. Helpless under Xun Wei's spell, Huang Jin closed his eyes, his head falling back in surrender to the intoxicating sensations caused by Xun Wei's lips and tongue.

Whispering softly, Xun Wei suggested, "Let's continue this at home, okay?" In his dazed state, Huang Jin could only manage a nod in response.

As much as Xun Wei wanted to continue, he also wanted to see Huang Jin wearing the suit. He felt a hint of regret, but he knew they could always continue their intimate moments at home and enjoy each other's company. The thought of "eating Huang Jin's tofu" brought a playful smirk to Xun Wei's lips.

Xun Wei took pride in dressing Huang Jin in the suit, and when Huang Jin saw Xun Wei in the black Chinese suit, he couldn't help but marvel at how regal and mysterious he looked, like an emperor who exuded dominance and allure. On the other hand, Huang Jin's white suit enhanced his already beautiful complexion, making him look ethereal, akin to an immortal phoenix.

A gasp of admiration came from below as Xun Wei and Huang Jin stepped out of the dressing room. Mother Xun's eyes lit up with excitement when she saw them in their matching suits.

"Marvelous! Both of you look absolutely stunning in those suits. I'm thrilled about the wedding. We can keep it intimate with just our family; there's no need for a large gathering. Ahwei, have you told him that we're planning to hold the wedding in F country?" Mother Xun beamed with joy, eager to share the details of the upcoming wedding.

"Yes, Mom. I've already informed him, and everything is set. I've contacted my people in F Country, and after the New Year, we can fly there immediately. The tickets are all ready," Xun Wei assured Mother Xun.

She nodded with satisfaction, pleased that everything was in order. Huang Jin couldn't contain his affection for Xun Wei and wrapped his arms around Xun Wei's waist, planting a gentle kiss on his left cheek while whispering sweetly in his ear, "My hubby is good."

"Hmm, hubby is good," Xun Wei playfully echoed.

"Huang Jin," Xun Wei called, giving him his full attention.

"Hmm?" Huang Jin replied, gazing into Xun Wei's eyes.

"I love you," Huang Jin confessed with a slight blush tinting his cheeks. He then turned to talk with Mother Xun to hide his shyness.

Noticing Huang Jin's bashful demeanor, Xun Wei couldn't resist kissing him deeply. As they parted, he saw a silly smile on Huang Jin's face, and his lips were still wet and red from the affectionate kiss. Their love for each other was evident in every gesture and word they exchanged.

As they approached the parking lot where Xun Wei's car was parked, they were surprised to hear the sound of crying. Intrigued and concerned, they followed the sound and soon discovered a young boy sitting on the back end of the vehicle. The boy appeared to be around eight to nine years old, chubby and adorable, dressed in a thick red jumpsuit, a black hooded parka, a red winter trapper hat, and gray winter boots.

Both his hands were covering his face, but he couldn't hold back his tears and sobs any longer. The pain and fear he felt were too overwhelming, and his emotions poured out uncontrollably. Despite his efforts to stifle the sounds, his cries were audible, and tears streamed down his cheeks, visible even through his hands.

Mother Huang's heart went out to the child, deeply saddened by his evident distress. She immediately sat down beside him, wrapping her arms around him in a warm embrace, offering comfort and reassurance. The child's sobs echoed with heartache, and he leaned into the embrace, seeking solace in her motherly embrace.

Mother Xun quickly walked over to check on the boy, her motherly instincts kicking in. "Hey, little one, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" she asked gently, trying to comfort the boy.

Huang Jin racked his brain, trying to remember where he had seen the child before. Despite the boy's face being covered with his hands, he felt a strong sense of familiarity, as if he knew him from somewhere.

When the child's crying subsided into occasional sobs, he finally revealed his tear-streaked face by removing his tiny hands. At that moment, Huang Jin's memory clicked, and he exclaimed, "Oh! I remember who this child is!"

Xun Wei also recognized the boy and chimed in, "Yes, Mom, it's Jian Bao. But let's not overwhelm him with too many questions all at once."

Mother Xun was visibly relieved to have identified the child, but her concern remained evident as she asked, "Jian Bao, sweetheart, why are you crying here? Where's your Dad? Your sister?"

Huang Jin, taking a more soothing approach, advised Mother Xun to calm down and not overwhelm the boy further. He took a seat beside Jian Bao and spoke softly, "Ahbao, do you remember me?"

As the child heard Huang Jin's voice, he looked up with his bright, teary eyes. His cheeks were red, marked with a handprint, and his quivering lips struggled to hold back more tears. His face, initially pale, appeared less ashen due to the redness on his cheeks.

"Big Brother," the child sobbed, unable to contain his emotions, answering Huang Jin's call.

Huang Jin gently wiped away the tears, comforting the child, "Why are you crying, huh? Who bullied you?" He lifted the child and placed him on his lap, offering warmth and comfort with soothing strokes on his back. As Huang Jin's hand gently brushed against the child's red cheeks, the boy flinched, causing Huang Jin's brows to crease, and his lips to purse in concern.

"Dad said that I was a bad boy, so he told me I need to stay behind to teach me a lesson," Jian Bao explained with sadness in his voice. Huang Jin's heart ached as he tightened his hold on the child, offering comfort and reassurance.

"Why does your Dad say you're bad? Can you tell me?" Huang Jin asked gently, encouraging Jian Bao to share his feelings.

Jian Bao began recounting the story from earlier in the day. He had expressed his desire to buy something for his sister's birthday and had broken his piggy bank to gather enough money for a gift. He asked his Dad to accompany him, but his father refused and left him behind at home.

Undeterred, Jian Bao decided to go alone to buy the gift, carrying his little backpack filled with coins and paper money. Upon reaching the mall, he found the shop and joyfully picked out the perfect gift for his sister's birthday. However, his happiness turned to heartbreak when he spotted his father with a four-year-old child and a woman embracing him, appearing like a happy family. Jian Bao ran towards his father and called out, "Dad."

Jian Bao approached his Dad and asked who the little brother and Auntie were. However, instead of answering kindly, his Dad became angry and started scolding him, demanding to know why he had left the house. Frightened by his father's wrath, Jian Bao began to cry as hurtful words poured from his Dad's mouth.

To make matters worse, the child that his Dad was carrying also started wailing and blaming Jian Bao for making the baby cry. His Dad continued to berate him, calling him a bad kid and telling him not to come home as a lesson for his disobedience. In an act of anger, his Dad even slapped him hard across the face and threw the gift he had bought for his sister onto the snow-covered ground before storming out of the mall.

Distraught and hurt, Jian Bao made his way to sit beside the car, where he was found by Huang Jin, Xun Wei, and Mother Xun.
