Quick Witted

Red blanched at the horrific sight of Elves that he would do anything to raze their entire clans to the ground.

'You ruined my dreams, I will ruin you now' he muttered as he got a sword from a random stack from somewhere. No one questioned the kid who's carrying a sword, as they were preparing to counter the attack of the elves.

"Prepare the alchemical oil! Pour it over the goddamn walls! Mages! On set! Warriors! Dip your swords in blood and not in soap! Summoners! Ready your flying familiars! Tanks! Flank the walls! Archers! Your arrows must NOT be wasted today!" A General screamed orders non-stop and everyone shuffled along with his orders.

Gigantic figures that reach almost a meter tall stand in the foremost of the walls while workers carried buckets of oil over to the wall and started pouring it downwards.

Then, mages started chanting the basic Fireball spell, ready to release it whenever they are commanded to.

Archers dip their arrowheads in oil and poke it on the fireballs, drew their bowstrings, and waited orders.

Warriors unsheated their swords and with the last sword drawn, and the last oil dropped, the General screamed "GO!"

The Elves on the other hand, were already chanting as one as they all prepared to summon something big, well, their summoning circle was big so it had to be big, in quantity or quality.

Red watched in anticipation as the summoning circle glowed and hundreds upon hundreds of devil spawns crawl out of the summoning circle and rushed to the alighted city walls and raining fires.

The five kids watched in fascination as hundreds upon hundreds of arrows drew a dazzling arc mid-air and landed gracefully on either the devil spawns or the ground, effectively barricading the minions or burning them into a circle.

Before they could celebrate however, the Elves made their move. They summoned bubbles filled with water in them, and made the minions carry around 3 of it, protecting said minions from the fire arrows three times before dying a gruesome death.

Red sucked in a cold breath, and ran towards the walls, and gloriously flipped and landed on his toes. The guards watched in bafflement as a kid tried to fight these monsters.

The General, though, wasn't etertained. Nor was he amazed. He was pissed, extremely.

"SOMEONE GET THAT KID OUT OF THERE! HE'LL DIE BEFORE HE COULD EVEN WIELD THAT DAMNED SWORD!" The General screamed, and one Warrior went forward and jumped off the burning walls too, although not as gracefully.

While they were talking, Red already ran towards the heat of battle and decapitated a minion easily, while nimbly dodging the fire arrows still falling over.

'I did not get tortured in that damn trial session for nothing!' He thought as he began hacking about, efficiently cutting down the numbers of the minions.

The General gaped as he watched the tiny child kill off minions, and before he knew it, the pressure that the archers felt subsided as the kid has a body count of 50.

"WELL WHAT ARE YOU ALL WAITING FOR! SUPPORT THAT DAMN LEGACY! I'LL HAVE YOUR HEADS IF HE FALLS!" The General suddenly screamed, startling the dazed soldiers, and they started getting down the walls in their own ways. Either copying the kid and trying to land gracefully on their toes off the walls, or safely and took the stairs.

Soon, the last minion was beheaded and a kid stood atop of the mountains of corpses, laughing maniacally.

"HA HA HA! TAKE THAT YOU STUPID GOBLINS! I SHALL DEFEAT ALL THE UGLY IN THE WORLD!" He screamed, dazzling both the Elves, who didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the scene, and the Soldiers, who could only kill about 10 of the minions with how quick witted they were.

If not for the soldiers' bigger figure, they wouldn't have been able to slash these things to death.

The Elves snapped off their trance and ignored the kid, thinking that it was probably just some ruse and started assaulting the soldiers on the battlefield.

One Elven chief, in particular, was screaming in their native language, as mage Elves started chanting.

Not long after, explosions sounded out and soldiers had to break formation so that they wouldn't experience bigger casualties, as bombs dropped off in cluster formations and groups.

Red stared at the bombs, and then back to the Elves, back to the bombs, back to the Elves, and then pulled up his system.

'Hey system, I know you are still young, I guess, and all that, but do you have something to rival the grandeur they're showing? Like explosive spells!'

[SYSTEM DOES HAVE EXPLOSIVE SPELLS. BUYING ONE LEVEL 1 MORTAL REALM EXPLOSIVE SPELL] The System responded.

'No! I need something showy! I still lack mana from that time you took my magic!'

[USER IS PERMITTED TEMPORARY USAGE OF THEIR MAGIC. REBOOTING]

Red felt a sudden flow of power through his veins and he felt like doing an ahegao face, but debated not to.

Red started feeling his Fire magic and smirked wildly as he memorized the spell structure of the explosive spell.

Suddenly, chanting could be heard in the middle of the battlefield, making both sides stare. In the middle of it all, a child, with both his hands in front of his chest, looked like he was holding light itself, as he chanted in a language they couldn't understand.

"Oh heaven above and hell below, grant me your heavenly might and demonic powers, as I summon forth my strongest explosion. I, Red Lith! Command explosions to spawn in my enemy's defense and obliterate these insignificant creatures! EXPLOSION!"

Red finished his chant and opened his eyes, which was glowing with a fiery glare, and pointed his fingers at the elves, and that's when all hell broke loose.

First, the elves thought that the child was just playing, but when sporadic explosions appeared in their formations, and strong ones at that, they panicked and started to spread out too, but that's not where it ended.

The explosions seemed to notice them breaking, so it started spawning randomly everywhere and in twos to threes, making the elves have to avoid three randomly spawned explosions, chained explosions when they are in groups, and the suddenly reinvigored soldiers in front.

"Damn!" The Elves cursed as they glared at the culprit of their despair, thinking that if the child died, they could get out of this hell, and that they did.

Two elven women dashed foward and headed over for Red's head, but when they were 1 meter near Red, they exploded immediately, no explanations, just explosions.

Both sides gaped at the little monster, but before they could praise him, the kid fell over and fell face first on the mountain of corpses he made, seamlessly blending into it.

The Explosions stopped.

Everyone stopped.

"W-

Was the kid finally done?"
