The Dawn of Survival

Today there was no sun, no happiness, no laughter to fill the hallways with joy, no smiles to brighten the day. Every thing had changed before our eyes. We came into school today as teachers, students, the new generation who were supposed to lead the world into the future. Now I don't think that's possible anymore, our lives have just changed and I'm not sure it's for the greater good. We walked in today as young adults and now. Now we are survivors, but the war has not ended. We've barely scratched the surface, not even making a dent. No, our war has not ended like in the history books we've read. Our war has just begun, and it's only a matter of time before it gets harder and harder. We have to stick together, if we want to grow and to be better than before. If we want to survive.
